We can't say enough about 617 Weddings and DJ Chuck Uglietta after our wedding last week at Lakeview Pavilion! Chuck was so responsive and completely understood the vibe we were going for. The dancefloor was packed until the end of the night and our guests gave us so many compliments on the music. He truly helped us make our wedding the best party we'll ever throw!

We had DJ Jimmie Espo at our wedding on 9/6/24 and could not have been happier with how amazing he was. From the lighting to the sound effects he added, it was the best time and he created such a fun environment! We had so many people the night of our wedding and days after asking us who are DJ was and that he was the best. We will recommend him to everyone!

We used 617 for our DJ and our videographer for our big day back in May. Our DJ was Jimmie Espo and our videographer was Brendan. Let’s start with Jimmie! He really knows how to get the party going. We had two phone calls throughout the wedding planning process but told me and my now husband to call or text him whenever when we had questions. Jimmie had the party started before dinner was even served and the dance floor did not clear out until the lights were turned on at the end of the night. He is absolutely fantastic. Now Brendan! He was another amazing vendor to work with. He showed up to my house (Bride’s home) and captured every moment from getting ready, first look with my father, arriving to the church, “I do’s”, hall entrances, to last songs. He captured every emotion my husband and I had that day and we are truly forever grateful for that video. We watch it all the time. There is nothing more special to have this beautiful memory in a 9 minute trailer and two hours of raw footage. Both Jimmie & Brendan made us feel like the only clients in the world and made our day even more special. 617 is the absolute best!!!

We were fortunate enough to choose 617 Weddings and DJ Aziz for our big day at the Black Swan Country club. From comparing reviews, to checking packaging, and finally meeting with Aziz, it was a no brainer to work with them. The level of communication we experienced was excellent. The way Aziz asked questions, offered feedback, then finally worked his magic at our wedding, was something special. The lighting and media also with 617 was awesome. We can go on and on, but we’ll end with choose 617 and DJ Aziz. With our sincerest level of gratitude, we send all our thanks to them.

We hired DJ David Natola for our wedding and it was one of our best decisions! David kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night and spent the time to understand the type of music we were looking for our our wedding day. Could not recommend 617 and specifically DJ Natola enough!

We had the BEST time at our wedding thanks to our DJ, William DiOrio from 617 Weddings. He was very helpful, professional, and insightful in the planning process. He was also very flexible when my wife and I decided to make some last minute changes a few days before the wedding, and then even more on the day of our wedding. And most importantly he put on a e excellent show at the wedding itself that we and our guests loved. He pumped up the crowd, quickly picked up the vibe of our guests, and used our pre-selected music ideas to find other perfect-fit songs that kept our dance floor busy all night. Couldn't recommend him and 617 Weddings more highly!

I'm a wedding planner (Ros&Co Events) and I worked with 617 Weddings for a client's wedding on August 17th. From a vendor to vendor perspective, Joe Bermudez, John & Franco were the dream team. Joe arrived early for set up and was super flexible with some last minute changes. He was timely with announcements and always made sure to check in with me to ensure all of the important guests were present. He knew all the hits to keep the dance floor packed. John and Franco were so helpful with the photography and videography timeline to ensure the couple got all of the shots they wanted. I already started receiving photos back and they are to die for! I will recommend this team to future clients for sure!

I hired Chuck Uglietta @617 Weddings. It was the best decision made. Everyone raved about how much fun they had and how they dance all night and that I should throw another party like this one lol. Also my dj Chuck was so helpful and helped me so much with my song selection. First time speaking with him was like we known each other forever. It was always so pleasant talking to him too. I recommend him and the company 1000%!!

Jimmie was fantastic! He had all our guests dancing up to the very end of the night. Our guests continue to compliment us on our wedding DJ. I'll be recommending him to all my friends getting married!! The photobooth was also a huge hit!

Paul Vincent did an amazing job as our wedding dj, everyone was on the floor all night having a blast!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with the amazing DJ Nick Stamz for our wedding, and he was the absolute best! It took us a while to find a DJ because we knew how important music would be for our wedding and the mixing of two cultures ( West African and American). Nick did not miss a beat! The first time we spoke with him, we were both so at ease. He is a true master of his craft. It was so fun to be able to dance with our closest friends and family to everything he played; it was incredible! He is a true DJ through and through. We got so many compliments on our DJ. He had EVERYONE up and moving. We can’t thank you enough Nick for all your knowledge and just being so damn good at what you do.

DJ Chuck Uglietta at 617 Weddings couldn’t have been any better. He made our lives easier and took great care of us throughout the wedding planning process and of course the wedding itself. Chuck has exceptional communication, attentiveness, and most importantly he is down to earth and extremely kind. The flow of the reception was perfect. He knew the right times to have each big moment (speeches, cake cutting, etc.). He also knew when it was time to get the crowd going and make things lively or slow things down to a more intimate level. Chuck is an exceptional MC and DJ. Also working on our wedding as the Videographer was Franco Valverde, at 617 Weddings. He was just as kind as Chuck, and he made sure we were always taken care of. He made us feel great and was extremely organized and hardworking. His communication skills and positive attitude were on full display as he was a huge contributor to this great experience. Franco was fantastic to work with. We were extremely lucky to have 617 Weddings for our big day!

DJ Stamz did an awesome job as our wedding DJ! The planning meetings went off without a hitch, he was super responsive if we ever needed to reach out about anything, he was more than accommodating with the number of changes we made to our wedding, even in the final few days leading up to the wedding. When I got on the dance floor, Nick made sure to play every song we had requested, and even accommodated the MOB with some disco tunes that she wanted to hear! Wedding guests were complimenting the music that was played all night long! Nick did an awesome job keeping the wedding party aware of what was next in the timeline, and made sure everyone was where we needed to be throughout the reception. He communicated with our coordinator and photographer ahead of time to make sure they were all on the same page with the timeline. He regularly checked in with us about song choices and volume level. We couldn't recommend Nick enough for any event!

We had dj Paul at our recent wedding in Newport ri, at regatta place. Paul was super chill and easy to work with, completely matched my husband and I’s vibe. All of our friends were complimenting his performance and asking if he dj’s in the Boston area. Paul was professional, personable, and brought the party. Would highly recommend Paul as well as 617 Entertainment!

We had the pleasure of having DJ Nick Stamz from 617 as our wedding DJ, and he was fantastic! From the very beginning, he made my wife and me feel incredibly comfortable with the entire process, often checking in to see how wedding planning was going and offering his help if needed. During the wedding he played the perfect playlist for the cocktail hour and his mix of both old and newer genres of music kept the dance floor packed all night long during the reception. Many of our guests told us that he was one of the best DJs they have had at a wedding and I agree! He truly crushed it! Nick was not only talented but also very personable and easy to work with. He's an all-around nice guy who ensured everything went smoothly and took the time to show up early before the wedding to coordinate with our officiant and day-of wedding planner. DJ Paul from 617 was amazing! DJ was my top concerned vendor, as music is such an important part of the wedding to me. My husband and I also have very different music styles and DJ Paul was able to mesh them perfectly. I'm from NJ and I wanted nightclub style music and DJ Paul brought it! Julio Sanabia of 617 Weddings was hands down the best choice for wedding DJ! We are still receiving non stop compliments about how good our music was. We have been told by our wedding guests that Julio was the best wedding DJ they have ever heard (not exaggerating) and my husband and I could not agree more. He had every one on the dance floor the entire night!! I will recommend Julio to every bride from now on!

Paul was phenomenal. From the start to the end, Paul stayed in contact with us about what we wanted and how we envisioned the night. Throughout the night Paul kept checking in with us to see what we wanted and how we felt. Could not have asked for a better night.

Jimmie was absolutely incredible! We really wanted people to dance at our wedding, and having Jimmie as our DJ was the best decision we could have made! People were dancing before salads even came out and never stopped! We truly could not have asked for more of a party! Our bar bill ended up being way smaller than we anticipated, and we are absolutely convinced it was because no one wanted to leave the dance floor to drink. We also got our uplighting from 617. The prices were affordable, and Jimmie changed the lighting in time with the music, which gave an amazing vibe to the space. We have gotten SO many compliments about the music, and a lot of guests have said it was the most fun wedding they've ever attended. Overall, we could not recommend 617 and Jimmie Espo more if you're looking for a party!

My husband and I were extremely lucky to have DJ Aziz for our wedding! We could not have been happier with our decision. From start to finish, the communication was excellent and he was able to accommodate all of our requests and often went above and beyond what we had asked for. The music selection was perfect and had everyone on the dance floor all night long (literally ALL NIGHT long). Their equipment was top-notch and the sound quality was amazing. DJ Aziz and his partner even took videos of our night that we got to KEEP at the end of our perfect day! I would highly recommend DJ Aziz for any event, they truly made our wedding unforgettable. Honestly, you need to book 617 Weddings ASAP. DJ Jimmie Espo and DJ Aziz were incredible. Absolutely legendary. Jimmie crushed it as our MC and DJ - he was the perfect choice for us. He is extremely professional and his knowledge in the industry surely shows. He has amazing energy that instantly gets your guests excited. We had a 200 person wedding, and every single person is still talking about how amazing he was in terms of his music choices, ability to keep people on the dance floor for 5 hours straight, professionalism, and his charisma. Jimmie was extremely responsive through out the entire process. As a bride, I wanted to customize my ceremony walk out song and first dance song and Jimmie made every wish I had come true effortlessly. He was always willing to jump on a phone call to talk through some ideas and when my husband and I spoke to him the week of the wedding to go over final details, Jimmie did an incredible job of talking us through everything and even offering ideas of how to make the day even better given his experience. He had us laughing for an hour straight and calmed all our nerves. During the wedding, Jimmie was extremely attentive. He and his assistant DJ Aziz did everything they could to make sure me and my husband were comfortable and had everything we needed, including a drink in our hands at all times. Jimmie checked in on us through out the entire night explaining to us what was coming up next - he was more attentive than our actual coordinator at times lol. His uplighting was beautiful and he even took a breathtaking picture of the wedding party during the ceremony that he was able to display on the large screen of his DJ booth. SO COOL. Jimmie was able to play music that all generations could enjoy. For someone who doesn't love oldies and favors house music, I was a little worried as to how all our guests ranging from 25-85 could be pleased. But, Jimmie told me not to worry, and he was right. He had a pulse on the dance floor the entire night and every song choice was absolutely perfect. Everyone that attended our wedding cannot stop talking about the music that was played and everyone is saying they know who to book for their wedding - 617 Weddings!! Thank you so much DJ Jimmie Espo and DJ Aziz! Our wedding was everything we could have hoped for and more and it's all thanks to you two. Still speechless!!

DJ Jimmie Espo was so responsive whenever I had questions in the wedding process and he made the day perfect. I had Jimmie Espo from 617 DJ my wedding at Smith Barn in Peabody. If i could give more than 5 stars i would. I cannot say enough amazing things about Jimmie! From our meetings leading up to the day we knew Jimmie would absolutely crush it. The day of the wedding Jimmie and 617 had everyone dancing and no one sat down the entire night. People had blisters on their feet the next day from dancing so much! We had people come up to us and tell us Jimmie was the best DJ they have had in a long time and had an absolute blast! Chuck went above + beyond for us!! He managed all of our music from ceremony to dinner to dancing, and it fit the vibe we were going for perfectly. I did not see one person sitting down the whole time, and I, myself, had to force myself off the dance floor to mingle with guests! He brought the energy and made everyone feel very comfortable. My husband and I got married at Owls Nest Resort in NH on 5-18-24 and Julio Sanabia from 617 weddings was the DJ. We worked with Brad Townshend at 617 Weddings for our wedding at the Oceanview of Nahant and he was incredible! All of my family and friends raved about how great the music was and we had people at the wedding ranging in age from their late 20's to late 60's. I loved Brad's energy from the first initial call I had with him and he was very responsive throughout the entire process. He was even texting me ideas on specific songs for specific parts of the ceremony when I didn't even ask him to showing me he really cared about the experience I had that day. We had 617 weddings provide DJ services, uplighting, and videography at our wedding and everything was absolutely fantastic. Our DJ was Chuck and he truly delivered on our day! Right after I talked to Chuck on the phone during our first consultation, I texted my husband "I think we just found our DJ!". Chuck's energy was upbeat, excited, but not overly aggressive. I made it clear I was looking for someone who could command a room, but also know it's not their show. Chuck understood the assignment! I had so many people tell me that our wedding reception entrances were the best they've ever seen, and a lot of that has to do with how Chuck pumped up the crowd, mixed our songs, and got everyone excited. I was also very adamant about having a relaxing vibe during dinner service, and Chuck made sure to do that, and followed my wishes of not playing fast-paced dancing songs until we finished dinner. After dinner he played song after song to keep EVERYONE on the dance floor and really just let the night flow perfectly. He checked on us during the entire reception; he truly follows his mantra of #anythingformybrides. Love that! Communication was great from the moment we booked right up until the wedding day. We got married at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge in November 2023. When we were looking for DJs, we came across 617 Weddings and saw that Joe Bermudez works with them. I have been following JB for years since he hosted the Open House Party on Saturday nights on Kiss 108 and was PUMPED when I saw his name. We immediately set up an intro call and talked for a while on the phone, nerding out about our shared passion for Vocal Dance music and remixes. JB couldn't have been friendlier, more accommodating, and fun from the start. When it came time to make decisions about how we wanted the night to go, song choices for different parts of the ceremony and reception, my wife and I definitely procrastinated but Joe never made us feel pressured or stressed. He was super helpful and made awesome suggestions for intros, recessional, etc. Everything came together perfectly. One of the coolest parts about working with JB was that he is very flexible in his style and played music for everyone but offered to "flip the switch" for us later in the night and play more of the Vocal Dance Remix music we love. The dance floor was packed, glow sticks everywhere, and no one wanted to stop dancing when the reception was over. JB even played a song he dedicated to each of us based on some of the specific songs and artists we had told him we liked earlier on in the process. My friends and I also have a tradition at our weddings where the groomsmen pick the bride and groom up for the song "Africa" and Joe mentioned he had an awesome remix of that song - we went with it and it was in fact awesome and made that moment even more special and unique for us. We could not have been happier with our experience having Joe Bermudez as our wedding DJ - everything was perfect, we had a blast, and we can't wait to go to his next show. I have and will continue to highly recommend JB to anyone looking for a DJ for any event and I hope there is another time in my life when I can work with him again. DJ Jimmie Espo from 617 Weddings was absolutely the best. He had everything under control, was professional but also was the life of the party. He made our families who don't dance to dance all night at Lakeview Pavilion. He routinely went up to us multiple times throughout the night to see if we needed anything, or have any concerns. He was attentive to all and every detail we needed even in being a game show host for our wedding reception entrance competition that we put together. Hands down the best DJ I've ever had for a gathering and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else for my wedding.

We had DJ Jimmie Espo for DJ and lighting services for our wedding in Boston. Jimmie and team went above and beyond the entire process. This was more than just a DJ service. Jimmie was a true asset throughout the day, offering to help with whatever we needed, communicating with all other vendors and family members. He frequently checked in with us before the ceremony, through cocktail hour and dinner. If we needed a coffee, he made it happen. If something wasn’t perfect with our set up, he was on it. Then, we got to dancing, and Jimmie KILLED IT! We told him we wanted a real party, everyone up, excited and dancing, and he delivered. He gave us the idea to start off with a dance set right after the first dance before dinner and it really set the tone. We gave Jimmie our overall style and taste with some songs that we like, and then let him just do his thing to keep people dancing all night. The dance floor was packed the entire reception, and all the guests were raving about how good the music was. He mixed songs on the fly perfectly, adjusted quickly to the crowd, and played a wide variety of songs that fit ours and our guests tastes. You will not regret having DJ Jimmie Espo and 617 weddings as your wedding music and lighting vendor.

DJ Julio 10/10!!! 617 Weddings had my wife and I fill out a form of songs that were needed for day of the wedding. We had a meeting before wedding to go over what the music vibe would be for the wedding day. We also wanted to do something different for our first dance and Julio saw our vision and executed it flawlessly. Our wedding guest was very diverse with people of different ages, races, and cultures. DJ Julio knew exactly what to play to get everyone on the dance floor. He kept the night alive with so much energy. He made our night incredible.

What can I say. DJ CHUCK brought the energy! He was extremely professional from start to finish and even helped us with our song choices. Once we filled out our preferences, he filled in all the blanks. The mood was awesome. I had the best time with my wedding and I didn’t have to worry about anything. We worked with Paul Vincent for our wedding at 1620 Winery and he was absolutely incredible! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He had the whole night running so smoothly from our introduction and first dance to speeches and parent dances. The dance floor was packed until the very end!! We wanted to say that our wedding was an incredible time due to all the energy that Julio and Scott brought. Julio and Scott kept checking in on us throughout the night to see how we were doing and quickly responded to any requests or changes without hesitation. We had our daughters wedding on 1/14/24 and hired 617 weddings for the second time! Julio our DJ was the absolute best!! in my opinion you dont get any better than him. His energy was contagious and we knew that we had to hire him for our second daughters wedding. He knows how to get the crowd on the dance floor. Highly recommend {DJ DJ Rifik} throught 617 Weddings! DJ Rifik was a great communicator and met with my wife and I prior to the event to get to know us and discuss the wedding music. On the day of the event at the Bay Forest HOA Clubhouse, him and Yuri did an amazing job reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor. Everyone was still talking about the DJ the next day!

Our experience with 617 Weddings was amazing from the start. When inquiring about a wedding DJ they were very quick to respond and answer all of our questions. We were paired up with DJ Joe Bermudez and it truly could not have been more perfect!!! I’m a terrible DJ and was quite anxious when hearing I had to come up with a playlist for our wedding, but Joe took that worry away and made it an incredibly easy experience. Our dance floor was full from the first song til the very last song which is exactly the vibe we wanted for our wedding!!! He even talked us through the play by play of how it would all go from walking out to first dances, cake cutting… a NYE countdown and all!!! Making us less anxious and the night more enjoyable. I would highly recommend 617 weddings and especially DJ Joe… Simply the best!

617 was recommended by our venue...this is what I sent the company when they emailed asked "how did we do"...they did not follow up. I also did not hear back from Julio who stated he would send us videos of our last dance together. The positive is Julio did a great job keeping the dancefloor going and packed. Issues: I was really disappointed that the team was late and did not check in with me prior to the ceremony. I was greatly disappointed that Julio made some assumptions about my processional song and cut some of the most important parts out of it to make it fit into what he thought worked better. My wedding party and I practiced many times the night prior how the processional song would go and to actually hear the verses that I loved so much get cut out was a HUGE disappointment as I was about to walk down the aisle. They did a good job improvising since the mic stand/something was broken but the cordless mic didn't pick up the voices of our readers. Since he was communicating with my officiant it would have been nice had he asked her when he should cue the recessional song. We walked a good way before it cued in and it felt awkward and not smooth. I also did not want or ask for the dancing to be interrupted for a group photo, he kept pushing it even my husband & I were shaking our heads "no" at him but he didn't look at us and his assistants didn't either. Even my photographer was saying "don't do this, they did not ask for this". I had sent Julio my wedding timeline multiple times and updated the timeline on the client portal and never asked for a large group photo. Lastly, which started with the catering manager. He told everyone to leave the dancefloor at 10:30 pm for 4 minutes so we could have our last dance and then everyone was going to come back. This was NOT AT ALL part of the timeline to have people leave & come back. None of this made sense. Our allotted time for the venue was until 11 pm. Everyone had a great time and knew nothing of the earlier issues we were having with him until he sent people out of the room at 10:30. I know everyone is trying to do their own jobs they are paid to do, but for someone who's spending thousands of dollars for all these team members, it would be nice if everyone just try to maintain their professionalism to communicate and not play the blame game on others. By placing blame on others in front of the bride & her father, you're not helping the anxiety and miscommunication but just making us question our choices of who we picked to support us on one of the most expensive days of our lives. Leading up to the actual event, I thought the DJ was going to be the least of my worries because of his attitude and energy, however, I came to learn that he was not listening and neither were his assistants. He played all of the songs I requested at once at the very beginning where we clearly stated in the timeline that my husband and I would be away taking photos. I would have appreciated some sort of follow up from Julio or 617 events to discuss the miscommunication. However, it's been 3 months and I have yet to hear anything.

Bill (William) DiOrio from 617 Weddings did an incredible job as both an emcee and DJ during our wedding! We were specifically looking for someone who can play non-English songs as well as handle karaoke, and Bill absolutely delivered. He easily accommodated all of our music and karaoke song requests, including a last-minute request to use our own edited audio file for the first dance song. On the day of the wedding, the music selection was spot-on, seamlessly blending our favorite tunes and keeping the dance floor packed all night long. In addition to his infectious enthusiasm and energy that lifted the mood of the room, he displayed an amazing ability to read the crowd and create an atmosphere that suited the moment. DJ Aziz Idahamou from 617 weddings was AMAZING! He had the kids and parents engaged with great music and fun games! We all had a blast. Highly recommend DJ Aziz for any occasion! Can’t wait to have another party with him!

Holy sh*t! We cannot express how happy we were with the entire experience working with DJ Aziz Idhamou & 617 Weddings. We had our wedding at Longwood's stunning venue, The Tower in downtown Boston, and having DJ Aziz was icing on the cake. From the first meeting to the last dance, his professionalism, expertise, guidance and attention to detail was beyond perfect. The music selection was spot-on - he blended different genres, built up an energetic atmosphere and kept the dance floor alive the entire night. The 617 DJ Booths are a work of art. The setup, lighting, screen etc. are extremely elegant. The 617 team created custom art from our engagement photos that were projected onto a large screen attached to the DJ booth, which set the perfect backdrop to the dance floor. We brought a DIY photo booth for our guests, and DJ Aziz even pulled the photos from the photo booth's web gallery throughout the night and created a beautiful (and hilarious) slide show that we watched from the dance floor! Beyond the music and dancing, DJ Aziz is a true MC. He spent time getting to know us and our vision, to make it a reality. We had a hard time picking out our intro music, but he found an up-tempo remix to a song we loved, used the energy to work the crowd, and created an unforgettable introduction for us. Throughout the night, despite all of our planning, we hit a few small snags, got a little behind schedule, and had to change the order of a few parts of the reception. But Aziz was on top of everything! He adapted flawlessly, and ensured the party kept flowing smoothly without missing a beat. But most of all, he was an absolute pleasure to work with - it felt like a family member was running the show. If we could change one thing, we wouldn't.

We had to reach out to 617 last minute when we ran into issues with our initially planned DJ - and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. 617 was great to work with from beginning to end and DJ Stamz was outstanding. He met with us multiple times before the wedding to go over our music tastes, ceremony, and any concerns. He was always a pleasure to coordinate with. His performance at the wedding was perfect. The music was exactly what we wanted - great mix of wedding classics for our families and an upbeat current vibe for our friends. Not only was the music perfect, but he also went above and beyond with the service. He was constantly checking in to make sure we were enjoying the night At one point, he even saw me standing in the line at the bar and ran over to offer to get me a drink so I could go back to socializing with family. We would absolutely recommend DJ Stamz for any event.

To say that DJ Paul was amazing is an understatement. He was on top of everything, did a great job the entire day and even helped put the officiant at ease. I want to get married again just so that DJ Paul plays the wedding one more time.

We had DJ Case, and he was incredible both during and coordinating before the wedding!!! We have not stopped getting compliments on him and the dance floor was full all night long! Jimmie was great coordinating early on, and we highly recommend!!

617 Weddings came recommended by our venue, and after meeting with Paul we knew we had found our DJ! Paul came with a lot of experience and had even done a number of weddings at our venue. Throughout the planning process, Paul and the team at 617 weddings were organized and helped us plan out all the details around introductions, special dances, speeches- everything! From our conversations with Paul about the type of music we wanted to play at our wedding, we knew we were on the same page and on the day of he delivered! From the minute the dance floor opened, it was packed for 3 fun hours of dancing! Our family and friends continue to tell us how awesome Paul was as a DJ and they had so much fun dancing all night (many were sore the next day from all the dancing!). We can't thank Paul enough for giving us an epic night of dancing to close out our perfect day!

My husband and I got married on October 28th 2023. We had DJ Paul Vincent , and he was amazing ! He knew how to work the crowd , get the crowd under control during special moments and knew the exact music to play to get the crowd going. 10/10 would recommend !

We had a fantastic experience with 617 Weddings for our November 2023 wedding at Hotel Commonwealth, with the talented Joe Bermudez as our DJ! 617 was on the preferred vendors list for the venue, and as soon as I spoke to them on the phone I was ready to hire them. They made the process so simple—they just asked me a few questions about the wedding and the vibe I wanted, then sent me pricing and matched me up with Joe! Joe was super laid back and professional when I had a call with him and immediately made me feel comfortable. He was open to whatever we wanted and was excited to help us bring our vision to life. 617 provided a comprehensive online form for us to fill out with all the details of our ceremony and reception, and we were also able to request songs and give Joe a sense of our taste in music, which made coordinating everything very easy. On the day of, Joe was incredibly kind and easy to work with, even when we made last minute changes to the introductions. He also went above and beyond to help my aunt and uncle plan a surprise dance for me and did not breathe a word of it to me before the wedding—so impressive! The dance floor was popping all night long and I got several compliments on the music, with one guest even telling me I had the best music of any wedding they’d been to :) Joe stayed true to our unique taste while still adding in some crowd pleasers that kept people engaged and dancing. I added an uplighting package as well which was incorporated seamlessly and really helped set the mood throughout the reception. So thankful to 617 Weddings and Joe Bermudez for helping make my wedding day exactly what I wanted it to be! Highly recommend them!

We had Julio for our wedding 10/20/23 and from the moment we first chatted with him we just knew he was the DJ for us! He goes above and beyond for his brides and grooms, coming early to watch our ceremony and meet our guests so he could add personal touches later in the reception. He noticed a certain Taylor swift song was quoted during our ceremony and he played it later during dinner. Our guests were dancing all night long and he was great at reading the crowd and taking requests. He would wait to make sure me and my husband were in the room to play songs we asked for and if he saw that we got held up on our way to the dance floor, he kept that song going a little longer until we could get there. His energy was unmatched and he made our night so special. 10/10 you should hire Julio!!

Hands down 617 weddings are the BEST! Jimmie espo is the best dj around! You won’t regret hiring him for any event! He’s genuinely a great person and makes sure you have the best wedding ever! Everyone from 617 takes the stress out of everything and makes sure the day is perfect! Jimmie made sure everyone was always on the dance floor and kept the party going till midnight! We heard of them through my brother in law who had DJ Jimmie for their wedding 2 years prior and it was the best DJ we had ever experienced. After meeting with 617 ourselves, we met with DJ Julio who was available for our date and he just has the best energy and excitement and was so kind and pumped to work with us. 617's online planning tool made the process so easy so we could help Julio create our playlist in our own time. Julio was always super responsive leading up to the day. On wedding day, we were surprised to see he had an assistant with him, DJ Scott, who was also SO fun and wonderful to work with! They seamlessly played our ceremony music selections without a hitch. Julio knocked it out of the park with the reception vibes, our dance floor was packed the entire night and we have heard rave reviews from all of our guests as well. He created one of our favorite moments of the night by letting us join him behind the DJ booth for a song which was so fun and our guests went nuts for. Even though he was getting requests from a couple guests for line dance songs he 100% stuck to our absolutely no line dances rule and honored our wishes. We cannot say enough great things about him and the 617 team, they are super budget friendly and have excellent service. Julio- you are the man and we can't thank you enough!

Nick did such an amazing job throughout the whole process and especially on the day of the wedding! He brought so much energy and enthusiasm with his MC-ing and DJ-ing. We had so many friends and family praise the music selection throughout the night! He did a fantastic job of taking my wife & I's music tastes into account (even editing our chosen first dance song to make sure it met our particular requests) while also reading the room and playing music that suited the vibe, to really maximize the enjoyment and get everyone on the dance floor. Additionally, he did a fantastic job keeping us on schedule and ensuring everything worked perfectly for the ceremony and speeches. All the equipment worked great and everything flowed seamlessly! Additionally, Nick & 617 Weddings provided uplighting & dance floor lighting at our venue (we were married at Boston Park Plaza), which helped enhance the atmosphere and really made our wedding day incredible! Also, they provided the an Air Booth Photo Kiosk, which so many of our friends and family used throughout the night. It was so simple and easy to use and captured incredible pictures that we will always cherish. Huge shoutout to DJ Nick Stamz and everyone at 617 Weddings for making our day truly special!

I could not recommend 617 Weddings more!!! The company is full of experienced, reliable and amazing DJs. We had the pleasure of working with Paul Vincent for our wedding at Lakeview Pavilion. He absolutely crushed the music, and we only gave him a few songs to work off of. He is personable, flexible and so much fun to work with. There’s no sense in burying the lead or mincing words: DJ Jimmie Espo and 617 Weddings are nothing short of phenomenal. If you’re on the fence about who to go with for your special day, you can call off the search. From a DJ / MC perspective… DJ Jimmie Espo was incredible. He really blew the doors off the place. What’s awesome is that he “reads the room”; meaning he doesn’t have a set playlist. He commands a deft touch with understanding what songs need to be played, and when. What’s more, his ability to flawlessly execute the wedding day timeline is second to none. The train couldn’t have run more smoothly. Every single person at our wedding raved about Jimmie. One of our friends said she wished she could get married *again* just so she could have Jimmie for the party. Heck, even the staff at our venue said he was the best they’d seen in a really long time. From a business perspective, Jimmie’s acumen and professionalism are of the highest order. From the first reach-out, we were treated with respect and appreciation. This sounds obvious, but so many of the vendors we contacted were seriously lacking in this regard. It was such a breath of fresh air to actually be treated like customers! Jimmie and his team took the time to ask thoughtful questions, and carefully studied our responses. It was clear they wanted to custom tailor this event to fit our vision and needs - and not shoehorn us into some cookie cutter that other DJ’s might use for “just another wedding”. After all the careful planning and selection of the vendors we wanted for our wedding, my wife and I had this strange “calm before the storm” feeling. We were thrilled with all our choices, but we realized we were putting a tremendous amount of faith in everyone to do precisely what they all said they were going to do. DJ Jimmie and 617 Weddings couldn’t be more worth of that faith. It’s easy when things go smoothly, but I think the true test is when things go wrong. We chose to have our dream wedding at The White Elephant, Nantucket. Being an island that can only be reached by ferry or plane, the logistics of getting there can sometimes be a challenge, to say the least. Our wedding was no exception. There were some storms the couple days leading up Showtime, which created some residual rough seas (even though we had a bright sunny day). Two of the ferries Jimmie was scheduled to be on with his work van were canceled. He was in a position where I think many vendors would have bailed. But that’s just not how Jimmie is wired. He figured shit out. When the going got tough, Jimmie got going, and was able to pull a rabbit out of his hat. Him and his crew got to the island on-time, got everything assembled and setup in record time. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all went off without a hitch. Jimmie is family now. I feel like we lucked into having a guy like this in our corner for our big day and couldn’t be more grateful for him and the impressive company he’s built.
