our music incredibly easy and organized. Bobak delivered great music, seamless mixing, and kept the energy on the dance floor high throughout the evening. He balanced the volume perfectly and many of our guests were complimentary of the music throughout the night. He made the process of getting set up incredibly easy, and during the day was able to really roll with the punches with a Lebanese and American crowd, mixing the two cultures songs and getting every single person on the dance floor!  We were also sent all of the videos that were taken afterwards, which was wonderful! The videos were recorded as people were dancing and then played back on the screens in a montage, everyone went crazy for it! He really brought an incredible vibe and we couldn’t have asked for better.

ulio did not show for our final meeting, which we had to reschedule because of his no shows twice, and rushed through the call when we finally got him on the phone. Jimmie, the owner of the company, said that is just how it goes and did not think it was an issue. Julio also arrived late, which we received our “ceremony fee” back but it caused the entire day to run behind. Part of working with them includes filling out a form of everyone’s name, what songs people are walking out to, first dance, parent dance songs etc. I was very specific with our first dance song, including the song title, artist name, album title and a brief description of what the album cover looked like. Julio ended up playing the wrong version of the song. Jimmie, the owner, told me their system does not display album titles so it’s not their fault for getting it wrong. Julio also had us do the parent dances in the wrong order, which wouldn’t have been a big deal but at the end of my husbands dance with his mom, Julio called my husband by the wrong name and it was very noticeable to guests. I was even more shocked by the conversation with Jimmie, the owner, after the event because he continuously said that they cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made throughout the event. I asked why they have couples fill out their forms if they are not going to follow them throughout the event and he said that their DJs are only contracted to play music from time A to time B and are not responsible for any mistakes made throughout the event because they aren’t contracted to play specific songs just general music. So be warned, 617 DJs can dodge all your calls before the event, show up late, play the wrong music, and call the groom by the wrong name and they will consider it “satisfaction complaints” rather than owning their mistakes.

He took great direction on the way we wanted our wedding to flow, from the ceremony to reception. We gave him a list of songs to play and he played those and threw some in that were similar to keep it fun and exciting. I could not recommend more and am extremely grateful for DJ Bobak's impact on our big day!

. He was on time, set up outside for our ceremony, cued up person songs for that, and then absolutely nailed the reception. The guests loved the music choices, and he helped us with a quick idea for table pictures and called that out for us smoothly. Definitely use 617 for your DJ needs and ask for Chuck! His motto is #anythingformybrides and he truly means that!

Tracking our music, putting together our timeline, and handling all the details was so convenient, we loved how simple it was to use and how organized it kept us. He kept the theme and the vibe on point, and listened to our do’s and dont’s when guest requests started coming. We were constantly on email as well as Zoom with him, which showed his attention to detail and willingness to ensure we had a great experience. The platform Vibo that he utilized provided amazing step by step ways to include different music and vibes based on each aspect of the wedding. It easily and flawlessly translated to the big night, and ensured no request was missed. We had previously seen Bobak’s work at another wedding in Plymouth, MA, and knew right away he was going to be our guy. 2 experiences, 2 great events, and a lot of time searching for a DJ saved on our end! have everything you need. Throughout the process, Aziz reached out not only to check whether we had completed the forms, but also to see if there was anything at all we needed for our wedding. It is so obvious that this is not simply another gig for him. He cares deeply about the experience of the couple and their guests. He was such a positive presence and worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, especially the venue team. Aziz was incredibly detailed and exhausted every effort to make sure our day was unforgettable. As for DJ Aziz’s ability to deliver an incredible wedding dance floor experience, there is simply no one better. He had the floor PACKED the entire night and was completely in tune with the crowd’s energy. His ability to seamlessly mix our Lebanese music with American hits was unlike anything we had ever experienced. He created such a unique and personalized vibe that guests could not stop talking about how they had NEVER seen a dance floor like that. On top of the music, his assistant captured real-time footage of the best moments on the dance floor and displayed them on the massive screen in his booth, which only encouraged even more people to dance! DJ Aziz and 617 Weddings went ABOVE and BEYOND, setting an unrealistically high bar for what every wedding should be like. Aziz, THANK YOU, you are amazing!
