Wow. We cannot say enough good things about DJ Aziz. We had our wedding at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem. I’m American and my husband is from an Iraqi family. We wanted to unite our families through music and tradition at our wedding, so that all of our guests would experience something familiar, as well as learn something new about the other’s culture. It was not an easy task we put before DJ Aziz, but he rose to the challenge! He integrated both styles of music seamlessly. He even mixed some Iraqi songs with American ones (best version of Usher’s “Yeah!” in my opinion). He met with us regularly prior to the wedding over the phone to coordinate details and get a sense of our wishes. He asked us to provide a Spotify playlist of songs to understand our wedding music preference and style. It is clear from our interactions with him that he is very passionate and serious about providing the best wedding experience possible for us. He was also very gracious and flexible with me while I was adding in last minute song additions! We also hired a belly dancer, and he worked promptly with her coordinating her on the time of her performance/her song picks. He also comes with this very cool setup with a DJ booth with a monitor that will display all of your photos if you send them to him ahead of the wedding. I thought that was a really nice touch. My guests and I enjoyed looking at them as dinner was being served. He works with a videographer named Adam, who is also fantastic. He is honestly talented at capturing the special moments. And he brings his own lighting to help all of us glow a little brighter! His video stream plays back on the DJ booth monitor, so we got to see replays of what happened on the dance floor just seconds/minutes before. It was so fun! At the end, DJ Aziz sent me all of these fun video clips of the night, including a 1 minute compilation of best wedding moments. If there was one thing people kept saying after our wedding, it was: “did you ever leave the dance floor?” Hire DJ Aziz/Adam for your wedding! You won’t regret it. <3

617 Weddings and DJ Paul Vincent did an incredible job for our wedding. We had complex requirements, three different sites for music (ceremony, tent & barn), as well as lighting in the barn. DJ Paul absolutely crushed it. Great company to work with overall, very clear understanding of the associated costs, the expectations, and they have an easy to use online portal. Highly recommend.

I hired 617 for my New Years Eve wedding at The Row Hotel. I spoke with Blair about my vision of the wedding and she immediately suggested DJ Paul Vincent. Paul absolutely killed it. From the moment the dance floor opened (and even before) through 12:30am everyone was dancing. Paul knows what is going to keep people on the  dance floor. The wedding had a true DJ vibe, not a playlist, he mixed music all night long. Everyone from kids through grandparents were dancing. We also had 617 do the up lighting and photobooth and it was a HUGE hit. 

DJ Paul Vincent was amazing and really made our wedding phenomenal. From our initial meeting he immediately knew what we wanted and he executed above and beyond, our guests are still saying how amazing our DJ was. Joe Bermudez of 617 Weddings was the MC and DJ at my New Years Eve Wedding at the Boston Longwharf Marriot hotel and was the best we could ever dream of. After the first time speaking with Joe over the phone I knew he was the right choice. He was professional, supportive, and extremely easy to work with. During the event he was the best MC, had awesome song selections, and did above and beyond to make us feel special on our big day. David Natola was our DJ through 617 events and we would highly recommend him for any wedding. We spoke to a number of DJs before booking and upon talking to David knew he would be the right fit for us. He was very easy to work with and responsive in the preparation period, including pre-mashing up some songs for particular parts of the night. Prior to the ceremony and reception ,he put both my husband and I but also our officiant and bridal party at ease and explained how they would interact in a clear and helpful way. He matched the vibe of both cocktail hour and dinner music that was both lively and not overwhelming. Dancing was a blast and he was very responsive to our "must plays" and seamlessly weaved them throughout the night. We have all positive things to say about David!

We were so lucky to have David with 617weddings as our DJ on 12/7/2024. Immediately after speaking with David during the pre-booking process I just had a feeling it was a great match, and boy was I right. Straight out the gate, he just got it! This past Saturday, we had Jimmie Espo with 617 Weddings DJ our wedding at Avenir. He was simply fabulous! All of our guests (and us!) had a blast on the dance floor! He really took the time to listen to our wants and requests, playing deep Taylor Swift album cuts and beauty and the beasts “be our guest” during dinner! He knew exactly how to keep the party going and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. The one thing that makes or breaks a wedding is the DJ. The DJ has the power to make it a great night or a dud and William DiOrio with 617 Weddings was phenomenal. We got married December 7, 2024 at the Cruiseport in Gloucester, MA and William was our DJ. He was so amazing all night and kept everyone dancing. We've gotten so many compliments on how awesome our DJ was and how people were dancing all night. We feel so lucky to have been paired with William and he truly created the most fun atmosphere for us and our guests. Anyone would be lucky to have him DJ your event or wedding.

Nick Stamz was the best DJ that we could have asked for. He made everything so easy and went above & beyond to make everyone comfortable. We have gotten so much positive feedback from our guests on the music and the lighting. The dancefloor was full for all 3 hours of our wedding because Nick created such a fun playlist. We super appreciate everything Nick did to make our day so special.

DJ David Natola was amazing! He made sure everyone and everything was in order and on time during the whole wedding which takes an immense amount of stress off of bride. The whole night went so smoothly thanks to him. He is extremely professional and personable and was a complete hit at our wedding. We would highly recommend using 617 weddings!!

Our DJ (Joe Bermudaz) was fantastic. I didn’t realize he would be so down to earth and nice and sweet when talking to him about our wedding plans. He was extremely responsive and the best part is he was super excited for us and he wanted to do the best job possible for our big day. I think during such a stressful time, you need this kind of enthusiasm to hype you up, to feel like they’re not another vendor just going through the motion and we really appreciate that. We were looking for an EDM sound track and he delivered. Even my old school mother wanted the music which is surprising because she’s a very picky individual. She said the music was so much fun and upbeat. Even my Chinese uncle who isn’t into American music had a blast dancing at our wedding. Definitely recommend Joe as your DJ!!

My husband and I got married at Tupper Manor in Beverly on 11/8/24, and we got SO many compliments about our DJ, Nick Stamz. He was energetic, interacted with the crowd, and was able to play music that made guests of a variety of ages stay on the dance floor. We had a couple of weird requests--my husband wanted a metal mosh pit--and Stamz made them happen seamlessly. Highlight of the evening was when Stamz played three of my mom's favorite songs in a row just so she could have a special moment and dance to Bon Jovi. Stamz was always very attentive and supportive of our choices for the music (including incorporating a piano recording from the best man) and uplighting and worked with us to create the party vibe we wanted. We would absolutely recommend!

I wish there were enough words to accurately express how great Chuck is. His motto is "anything for my brides" and he really means it. My husband and I are so grateful for Chuck; he made our wedding the best party of our entire lives. Chuck had all of our wedding guests up and dancing before dinner even started. He played every single song we requested and then some. Chuck truly understood the vibe of the night and was able to tailor the setlist to exactly what we wanted our wedding to sound like. As a huge music lover myself, I was so particular and picky about what type of music I wanted for our wedding-- I cannot recommend Chuck enough. He is fun, professional, and genuine. We had two of 617 amazing crew for our vendors. Franco for videography. He was funny and so nice. He got great images for our video. He was awesome to work with. We also had DJ Chuck for our DJ. He was amazing! He was so easy to work with and professional. He got there with plenty of time to set up, handled the ceremony music, cocktail hour music, dinner and then the dance party!! We worked with Aziz from 617 Weddings for cold sparks for our October wedding at the Danversport. From our first encounter, Aziz was tremendous. He reached out and discussed our vision for the cold sparks. He even sent us photos of past couples he worked with for inspiration. When it came to the day of, Aziz showed up early and set up. He also introduced himself to our photographers and videographers and communicated with them for photos. He also worked closely with our DJ to ensure the cold sparks went off during our intro and first dance at the time we intended. Following our wedding, he even sent us incredible photos and videos he took. This was such a nice surprise and was so nice to receive as we await our professional photos and videos. Our guests LOVED the wow effect the cold sparks gave and we keep getting so many nice messages about them. We are so happy we did this and 100% recommend!

I want to start by saying if you haven’t already booked this company, go ahead and do it. My husband and I got married 10/11/24 on a Friday night at Granite Links in Quincy MA and Jimmie Espo was our DJ. He exceeded our expectations x1000 (and I had seen him before at two other weddings). The energy he kept in the room was incredible all night and we had so many guests come up to us and say “this guy is amazing”. He also surprised everyone in the room by playing a clip of my late grandfathers voice that my father had emailed him as part of his speech. My 95 year old grandmother got up to dance with everyone! I really just can’t say enough great things about this DJ. I hope to see him at all the weddings I attend going forward. 10/10

We got married on August 31st at Smith Barn and had Chuck as our DJ. He was absolutely amazing! Chuck was very responsive, professional, and truly lived up to "anything for my brides!" throughout the entire process! Any time I had a question he gave an immediate phone call, text, or email back. He made the planning process so easy and truly made our wedding night so much fun. He was very attentive the day of, even checking on us throughout the night to see if there was anything we needed. Our friends and family were up dancing from cocktail hour until the last song, and have still been raving about how much fun they had! We also used Franco as our videographer and he was great! Again, so attentive and fun. He not only captured our wedding day, but went above and beyond with helping carry my veil and dress and getting us water during pictures without being asked to do so. Our pirate-themed wedding was truly magical, and a huge part of that was thanks to DJ Brad Townshend at 617 Weddings! From the first phone call, Brad was so helpful in guiding us through all the details and answering our questions. We were able to lean on his experience for many of the decisions we had trouble with, such as entrance songs and a schedule for the evening. Brad went above and beyond; he was at the venue early to set up everything. His music selection got our guests of all ages on the dance floor, and he was able to find the pirate-themed songs we requested for our special moments throughout our wedding. Julio Sanabia from 617 weddings was absolutely amazing! We also hired Madeline Figueroa & Peyton Collin’s to capture our lovely day. We had a “long” engagement & throughout the 2 year planning process the communication between all 3 vendors were absolutely amazing. They all listened to my concerns & eased my mind. Day of the wedding.. emotions were high & again all 3 vendors were absolutely amazing & sympathetic. I lost my mother last year so I was going through it, they made sure every single little detail was exactly how I envisioned it. My first time working with Payton Collin’s ( videographer.. 617 weddings ) & I cannot recommend him enough! Amazing energy, he got down & got all those angles ( ladies, you know what I’m talking about 😂). My husband is very much an introvert & doesn’t like attention, Maddie & Payton made him feel so comfortable!! I truly cannot recommend a better group of people. They made my wedding unforgettable. We had some hiccups with one of our wedding coordinators at Teresa’s Hospitality group, disregarding what I wanted & went on to do it her way. Luckily I had tunnel vision walking down the isle to my future husband that at the end of the day it truly didn’t matter but it was not appreciated how myself & my family was spoken to/at. Our other wedding coordinator Robyn, absolutely amazing! She did her very best to make sure the ceremony & reception area was exactly how we wanted it. Teresa’s was stunning , our photographer had a fun time taking our photos there! The food was also phenomenal, our guests are still raving about it! Our reception area was absolutely beautiful, very minimal as Teresa’s ballroom is beautiful as is! Thank you to everyone who made our wedding dreams come true! The Lemaires ❤️

We went to our friends wedding a couple of years ago who had Julio Sanabia as their DJ and my wife and I knew there was no one else we would want to do our wedding. Julio made the entire process leading up to the wedding easy and fun and was phenomenal at the wedding. I have never seen a Dj more involved with the guests and made sure everyone was having a good time. If you want an unbelievable night, this is your guy.

Chuck was an amazing DJ and really brought the energy to our wedding!! He listened to what we wanted for the night and created a perfect playlist of music for every point of the event. I had some last minute changes to song choices and he didn’t even blink. Dance floor was packed and everyone had an amazing time! I would highly recommend for your wedding!!

I was recommended to this vendor by a friend who used them for cold sparks at their wedding. We were very interested in having them for our entire wedding and this was their reply: “Sorry - I would still really only like to book them for 4 hours 7-11pm. I don't think it's a good idea to have them for the last hour as guests definitely have had enough to drink and it will become unsafe” Our wedding goes until 12am and wanted one last use as the party was getting wrapped up. They were planning to pack up right in front of the DJ booth with people dancing. Classy…. Not so much.

Joe Bermudez was amazing!!!! He had the crowd on his feet the entire night. He was attentive, caring, and genuinely wanted us to have the best night of our lives. I had hired 617 Weddings to do my photography, videography, and DJ service for my wedding. I was VERY relieved to had gone with 617 Weddings services because it was a one stop shop and everyone was super professional. DJ Julio was a blast! And definately catered to me and my family, was very attentive, and created an amazing playlist with me and my husband. I have a huge multicultural family, so Julio was able to easily find a way to get everyone on the dance floor! Jenni and her team (our photographers) was really directive and fun! They took their time and went above and beyond to make sure we captured every moment with magical shots/backgrounds. Chuck and Franco, the videography team, also took their time to make sure they captured every moment. What was amazing about 617 Weddings is that they had easy to use, online portals, and communicated with us every step of the way. I really do not think our wedding would have been as successful as it was, without them. I HIGHLY recommend 617 Weddings, and the team that I had, for anyone's future events/weddings that they are planning. Also the price range was VERY reasonable, and had options to fit every budget.

DJ Bobak/ 617 Weddings was the BEST DJ we could have hired for our wedding at Terra in Eataly (Prudential Center in Boston). He was professional, cheerful, responsive, and created such an amazing atmosphere at the reception (he did it for us even though it was his birthday!) I loved that we were able to share a lot of ideas and favorite songs beforehand, and he worked with that while also reading the room. I kept dancing so hard I needed a break, but the next song would come on and it was equally good… so I rallied again and again!! Several people told us this was the best music/DJ of any wedding they had been to, and I wholeheartedly agree! Don’t hesitate to hire Boback for your wedding or event. He’s the MAN.

We had a multi cultural wedding so there was a ton of Arabic music to be played for the Lebanese traditional introductions, dances, performances, and father-daughter dance. Paul did not skip a beat on making sure the songs played at the right time! He got everyone amped up, and read the crowd playing the best songs. Our day was absolutely perfect thanks to you guys! Nick was awesome! He took great care of us and was super nice about us requesting way too many songs. He also was able to pick up the theme and run with it and just generally kept the night flowing at the proper tempo at all times. Huge thank you to Nick and 617 for being so easy to work with. Nick is the man!

We loved everything about working with 617 Weddings! They were responsive, helpful and made the process of getting music and timeline organized so easy. Our DJ was Joe Bermudez and he nailed it across the board - he listened thoughtfully to what we had in mind, but also was an expert in adding in what he thought would work for the environment, and so many guests kept coming to us saying how great the music was! He was such a great addition to have for our day. It wouldn't have been the same without him!

From the start, 617 Weddings was amazing to work with. Our first call with them was high energy and got us really excited to work with them. We were assigned DJ Aziz for our wedding at Danversport and I am so grateful we were! He was so communicative and accommodating throughout the entire planning process and made us feel really comfortable about everything. We used DJ Aziz for ceremony music, reception music, up lighting and cold sparkles and WOW did he deliver! So many guests came up to us and said “this is the best wedding we’ve ever been to” and “this guys is awesome” referring to Aziz. Many of my engaged friends took business cards and want to higher him for their upcoming weddings!! He even accommodated a last minute surprise video my husband’s family threw on him and we were so grateful because it was amazing!! I can recommend DJ Aziz and 617 Weddings enough!

DJ Dave Natola with 617 Weddings did our wedding and was the best. He had the party going all night long. The dance floor was electric and was packed the entire night. Hit after hit, DJ Dave had the best playlist all the while adapting to the vibe of the night. Truly talented and such a pleasure to work with. He was so responsive and made it his top priority to ensure we had the best night ever. DJ Dave arrived early and checked in with us ahead of the reception to make sure we had everything we needed. He really went above and beyond and delivered! DJ Dave is the best - top notch, professional and truly a pleasure to work with. So many of our guests said he was the best DJ they have ever seen.
