Lorah was right there to insure everything was on schedule and set up as we had agreed. The wine is excellent, best wine made in Minnesota and rivals California wines. Weather permitted us to open the West wall of the event dining room to enjoy a perfect late spring evening. The outdoor patio and gas fire pit drew guests outside while the dining room transformed to a dance floor. We could not have asked for more.

Lorah met with us throughout our year of planning to make sure we were on track and no details were missed. The day of the event coordinator we worked with was Shannon. She was fabulous!! The team at 7VV exceeded all of our expectations and made sure any problems at the wedding were taken care of without having to involve the bridal party or guests. ttributed to the venue and the panning staff. I know moms and brides have input, but this was just fantastic! As a guest I noticed how everything moved and flowed seamlessly. I have one more daughter left to get married and I will for sure be in contact. It is so easy for a thank you's to go unsaid to all the behind the scenes help... but please pass mine along. Everyone's hard work was noted and appreciated. The wedding was superb.

Our initial impression was that they were normal, professional, and willing to work with us to help bring our vision of our wedding come to life. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Leading up to our wedding day we had multiple interactions with Lorah that left a bad impression (see below), but the most egregious behavior by the 7vines staff took place on our actual wedding day. Our wedding party arrived early that day to finish getting ready and take photos before our ceremony. We were told by Lynn and Lorah we could keep our belongings in the bridal room downstairs, where they could lock the door to keep our belongings safe. Our ceremony went smoothly, and I went back to the bridal room to have my dress bustled and freshen up for the reception. At that point, I discovered my bag was missing from the room. This occurred despite the door being locked, and while all the guests were at the ceremony. Anxious about my missing belongings, I notified my bridesmaids and proceeded to great/thank our guests. It turns out Lynn took my bag without my permission and then didn’t tell anyone. Lorah claims it was because they found “outside alcohol and didn’t want us to get in trouble with the bar, and felt the bag would be more safe in their office”. This was after 1) we had paid for an open bar 2) the bag was already supposed to be in a “safe” locked room 3) the entire wedding party was acting appropriately, and 4) suggests they waited for everyone to be busy at the ceremony before snooping through our belongings. Later, during first dances, our friends went to put their jackets in their car. They saw Lorah and the security staff peering into my husband’s car with flashlights. Lorah and the security staff scurried away once they noticed our friends approaching. We have no idea what they were doing/looking for or what they were planning to accomplish. When all of this came out the following day, I was LIVID. I have never witnessed such unprofessional behavior. It makes my skin crawl to think they felt entitled to violate our trust, rifle through our property, take something that didn’t belong to them, and not tell anyone. They treated us like we were misbehaving children despite everyone acting appropriately and treating the venue with respect. Lorah has not returned my phone calls to offer an explanation or an apology. Despite 7 Vines staffs’ best efforts to taint our wedding day, we still had a wonderful time thanks to our family, friends, and other excellent vendors. It is a shame to have such a beautiful venue mismanaged by an incompetent, disrespectful staff. I would not recommend 7 Vines to anyone. I am very unhappy about our experience with Lorah and Lynn. Other, smaller details worth sharing: More than one of our vendors warned us about Lorah in particular, noting she has a reputation for being difficult to work with. Unfortunately we had already paid our deposit by then. Lorah and Lynn are very strict about decorating the venue. Lorah is a poor communicator. She often sends long, redundant emails/texts with little punctuation. She sent emails in the middle of the night, often multiple in a row. - Strict no drinks on the dance floor

well oiled machine! Looking back, I didn’t have to think about one single thing on the wedding day, besides enjoying our wedding! The venue itself is also so beautiful! We are still getting comments about how lovely everything was! We had great food from their preferred vendor list (we chose Creative Catering by Molly) and the live band entertainment with Nate Hance and Champagne Mix Tape was phenomenal! Thank you for making our day so special!

Throughout the planning process, Lorah was always available to answer any questions we had or address any concerns and even asked certain questions that helped me better prepare for the day. Leading up to our wedding day, Lorah met with us a few times both over the phone and in person to ensure all day-of details were aligned so we had no worries on our wedding day. Our actual wedding day was well organized and the entire day flowed smoothly. We’ve received numerous compliments since about how beautiful the whole wedding was. I would definitely recommend 7 Vines and Lorah to any future bride looking for the perfect wedding location!

Each delivered and outstanding, beautiful, memorable experience for us and our guests. My husband and I cherish that we will be able to drink True North 7 Vines wine for the rest of our lives and remember celebrating our first evening as husband and wife in the vines and around the vineyard grounds. Thank you Lorah Palmer and all of the 7 vines staff for blessing us with such an incredible celebration of our marriage.

e were VIPs. The lawn was freshly mowed. Gardens were perfect. And those chubby, lush vines...Ahhh We had so much luxurious space to mingle, move and gather. Inside the lovely space we again had many options to relax and visit. We hired a florist to do table arrangements only. Nothing else was necessary and the place shone like a fairy tale. Since the wedding we have been back to relax, have wine and feel like it was still ours. What a bonus! Thank you Lorah and 7 Vines. We will enjoy coming back many, many times.
