You literally do not need any additional decorations for the dinner and reception inside (which is a great cost savings ;) ) because of how beautiful the venue is on its own. Not to mention how beautiful the area outside for the ceremony is out by the vineyard...it is absolutely stunning. I want to give a shout out to Lorah who was my sister's wedding contact. She is seriously the most knowledgable, friendly, and professional event director!! Many times after the wedding we would say "wow, Lorah was so right about this!" she truly knows absolutely everything and will help you plan the most amazing wedding. If I wasn't doing a destination wedding, I would 100% book this venue. I could go on for days at how perfect this venue is - take my word for it and get married here!!

It’s very refreshing to work with someone who treats me as though I’m the only client they have, even though I know she has a lot of brides to work with. As we were working with Lorah to get things ready to go for our June 6, 2020 wedding, the coronavirus started ramping up. After a few weeks of the country starting to shelter in place and our RSVP numbers starting to dwindle, we made the decision to postpone our wedding. After crying for a day, we immediately reached out to Lorah to find out what days she had available in 2021. She let us know the two dates she had available, and we reached out to all our vendors to see if they were available on our new date. Thankfully they all were, and we secured our new date. We had rescheduled our wedding for 6/12/21, but because of the slow roll out of the vaccine at the beginning of the year and 80% of our guests coming from out of state, we decided to push it one last time. The first available date was November 6th, so we snatched it up. Working with Lorah continued to be a dream. She was so organized and was able to work with us to keep our costs down. I had heard so many stories of wedding venue coordinators being a nightmare to work with, especially during COVID, but Lorah was never that. Our wedding at 7 Vines would have been great without Lorah, but because of her expertise and attention to detail, it was INCREDIBLE! Some of our friends and family are jokesters, and that was apparent when we had our rehearsal. But Lorah kept us running smoothly and kept everyone in line so we weren’t taking forever. We hired Lorah and her team separately outside of 7VV to put out our decor that wasn’t through our linen company because we knew there would be no way we could do all of that so seamlessly the day of the wedding. And everything looked so beautiful! I had a vision, but she and her team brought it to life. It’s been two weeks since our wedding, and we’re still getting comments about how beautiful the venue is. Do yourself a favor and get married at 7 Vines. You won’t be disappointed!

of 2018 with a friend to, “check out this winery that was built in our hometown!” that it was going to be my wedding venue. I remember telling my (now) husband that same day that if he was going to marry me, I wanted it to be there. He made me check out two other venues just to be sure, which I did, but they didn’t even hold a candle to what 7 Vines has. It is just this amazing place and easily the most gorgeous winery in MN. Everywhere you turn your head at 7 Vines, you just see beauty all around you. Especially if you get married here in the fall, when the leaves are changing colors and the weather is nice and cool. Lorah Palmer, the Event Coordinator, has chosen the best of the best wedding vendors on her Preferred Vendors List. For my wedding, I chose the following: - Riverside Hitmen live band: literally incredible . The best wedding band I have ever heard. They brought the house down and all of my guests were dancing the night away. Kyle Tennis the manager is very friendly and easy to correspond with. - Elegance by Design Floral: the freshest, most gorgeous flowers and reasonably priced. My bouquet, the bridesmaid bouquets, and boutineers were stunning. Tara the florist listened to my requests for the flowers types and colors, and hit it out of the park!! - Donatelli’s Catering: my guests raved about the food and the expediency in which they were served through the buffet line. Top-notch customer service. - James Ramsay photography: James is so fun and easy-going while getting incredible photos and shots. You feel like you’re getting your picture taken by an old friend. - Thirsty Whale Bakery: they made the tastiest, out-of-this-world gorgeous tiered geode wedding cake. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the cake: simply stunning. All the guests could not stop talking about it and how delicious it was, too! The only area where 7 Vines may cause some difficulty is if you have a large bridal party and you all want to get completely ready on-site. The Bridal Suite, while lovely and functional, felt a little tight with myself, bridal attendant, 3 bridesmaids, and 2 flower girls in there at once. There also is not a Groom’s Suite. These two concerns are quite minor and do not detract from how amazing 7 Vines is, however I just thought I should mention it as a heads-up. In summation: I would not have chosen any other venue in Minnesota to have my wedding at. 7 Vines Vineyard is nestled on an incredible tract of land with rows of lush vines, has a beautiful pond, and is surrounded by huge mature trees. The winery itself was modeled off the wineries of Napa Valley and is just gorgeous. The staff at the winery are all best in class and will make sure you have the wedding of your dreams.

The Bride wanted live music for the pergola ceremony. I knew Sandy Atlas from a previous 40th Reunion I'd planned. He played the keyboard and his friend, Lynn, played the violin. Their music was lovely and kicked the wedding off on a very musical note. (www.sandyatlas.com) Lorah Palmer has vetted an outstanding list of vendors. We chose the following: Elegance by Design Flowers - The flowers were exceptional. Everyone commented on the colors and the beauty of the bridal party flowers and centerpieces. Tara Nelson far exceeded our expectations. I felt that we got an amazing value for our money. Not a single flower, vine or stem was wilted. All of the flowers were very fresh and vibrant and they remained lovely all day and evening long. Donatelli's Catering - was amazing in both the quality of their food and their service. Donatelli's wedding menu seemed to be their top-of-the line offerings. We had lots of wonderful comments about their food (mostaccioli with meat sauce, cajun chicken tortellini alfredo, antipasta salad, roasted vegetables and garlic bread) and exceptional service. The table cloths, tableware, etc. were first rate and professionally presented. Their servers were very friendly and efficient. They are a well-organized catering service. The Thirsty Whale Bakery blew our cake expectations out of the water. The Bride gave them a photo of a geode cake. TW's geode cake replica was simply stunning. I saw lots of photos being taken of that cake. Several guests commented that it was the best wedding cake they'd ever seen. It was truly a confectionery work of art. The Hitmen Band was really spectacular. They played the best all-genre music all night long. Guests asked me how we'd found this band. I told them they were the only band listed on Lorah Palmer's vendor list. At the end of the night, they played Prince's "Purple Rain." Kyle played the best guitar solo I've ever heard. I closed my eyes and thought it was Prince. It was out-of-this-world. I'm glad we decided to hire them, with the horns, because our guests enjoyed their music very much and stayed late to dance. James Ramsay started his day around 11 am to shoot photos of the Bride getting ready at the Best Western in WBL and I still saw him taking photos around 8 pm. He's definitely a photographer who is dedicated to his art. We really enjoyed his relaxed and very friendly personality. John Walter, the videographer, was serious about his task of capturing everything on video. The Bride and Groom saw drone video of the two of them walking through the vineyard rows and they said his drone shots were simply amazing. I can't wait to see the finished video. Complete Beverage Service - Bartenders, Lena and Brian, were lots of fun, very personable, and efficient. They said we made their job easy by providing a printed bar menu for each guest. It really sped up the line and kept it moving smoothly all night long. Melissa, their coordinator, was very easy to work with to set up our liquor order.

ally saw the venue 1 week before our wedding we found it even more beautiful than the pictures on the website. Standing across from my husband sharing my vows in the pergola, I felt like we were in a romantic vineyard in Tuscany! The outdoor area is spectacular and allowed all our guests to spread out during the social hour and sit by the outdoor fire in the evening. The indoor area is equally beautiful and spacious (we had 85 guests) and 7 Vines recommended a great florist (Laurie at Flore Inspired) who made the space just gorgeous with her arrangements. We also appreciated that there is a private downstairs area where we were able to get ready in peace and quiet, and share champagne and appetizers in secret after the ceremony. This place truly has it all! The staff at 7 Vines (we mostly worked with Pam) were truly a pleasure to work with. They were extremely organized, friendly, and made us feel at ease every step of the way. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and staff to make our wedding day dreams come true - an amazing venue that we would recommend to anyone!

But If the weather does get really bad, then everything can be held inside, so need for last minute panic. Lorah Palmer, the event coordinator, is the best. She took care of all of our needs and was always very timely in answering our questions when we reached out to her via phone, text or email. She covered all of the bases so on the day of the wedding, everything was taken care of and ready to go. She was more than willing to accommodate us in all that we asked and was very flexible. e it and panic sets in. The couple did get married with immediate family on groom's side on June 13, 2020 with plans of having the wedding reception in Minnesota the following summer, 2021. As you would expect, we as parents had to pick a venue with the married couple's ideas of what their perfect wedding/celebration day would look like. One of the main criteria was to have a rustic venue. We toured some and when we got to 7VV, I knew this was the one. All I can say is I felt a sense of calmness stepping out of the car and knew this is what we needed. Pam brought so much calmness that we needed during the planning process. We met with vendors through zoom. We were so grateful for the recommendations that Pam gave us. We worked with Laurie LeClair, the florist and she was so accommodating with the wedding couple and us. We worked with Lisa at Stonehouse Catering and she went the extra mile. She researched and had Adam make a Swedish appetizer and helped us out for a rehearsal dinner venue too! The planning that was coached for us along the way paid off and the day was beautiful! So many guests asked, "How did you find this place?" What better testament could you ask for as a venue operator. Thank you to the 7VV team! WELL DONE!!

’t honor the terms of their contract. 7 vines to the rescue. I was able to plan a small ceremony on my wedding date outdoors with immediate family. I’m addition, I was able to plan a vow renewal and reception in 2021. The venue itself is beautiful and while the pandemic and the first venue definitely were stressful, it ultimately worked out as the venue was 100 times better than the previous venue we had booked. Lorah is exceptional at what she does and our vendors were flexible to change dates. 8/28/21 was a perfect day and that is because of 7 vines, Lorah the event coordinator, Donatellis, complete beverage service, Nicole Fae, Elegance by Design floral, and RKH images. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my wedding.

The space is incredible (gorgeous, updated, functional) with great options for both outdoor and indoor ceremonies and receptions. It was 99 degrees on our wedding day so we changed to have our cocktail our inside on the morning of. We still kept our ceremony outside as it is COVERED and feels 10 degrees cooler under the pavilion. We had the best day ever and I highly recommend 7VV to anyone! To make our situation even more difficult, I was starting active duty obligations tot eh Air Force June 1st and was not able to reschedule our big day with 7VV. Our experience with 7 Vines Vineyard was wonderful. The coordinators worked hard to communicate with clarity and timeliness in a time that has been crazy for them and we are profoundly grateful for that. Not only that, but they have been so gracious in understanding our tricky situation and refunded us when they did not have to. We cannot speak highly enough of the customer service that we have received and highly recommend this venue!

Now with our wedding plans possibly being postponed due to the coronavirus, everything was feeling so upside down with making sure we could still have our venue and vendors. The 7 Vines team has made the double wedding planning so much easier by being so respectful of our requests and helping to make sure the other vendors know of any changes. My recommendation for this venue is very high. They will work with you in any situation that may come and they make sure that you know that making your day special is a priority to them. The day went without a hitch, which I can only contribute to Pam and her exceptional leadership and organizational skills :) This venue is beautiful inside and out. We got married in December and were lucky enough to have lots of snow on the ground. The setting was dreamy and cozy, and our guests continue to compliment our choice of venue. We are so lucky to have had our wedding at 7 Vines Vineyard and I cannot wait to go back again and again for a glass (or bottle) of wine :)

A "complicating factor" is that the bride and groom to be live overseas in New Zealand/Australia, making some things a little more difficult and requiring some exceptional flexibility on the part of Pam and the 7 Vines team, they responded with ease and no hesitation, even doing a Skype meeting with the groom! The coordination of all the different partners, the communication with myself, my daughter and all the vendors leading up to the wedding day was very good and ensured that there were no complications on the day. The day off the wedding went off without a hitch, or if there was a hitch, Pam handled it with the team and we were none the wiser....can't ask for more than that! The venue is gorgeous inside and out, the facilities are important when considering catering (they have their own kitchen) and the team-exceptional! We love 7 Vines and are thankful to have such a wonderful venue in our community!

I am so glad I chose this as our wedding venue. It was the only venue tour we did before our wedding- my husband and I fell in love with it and knew no other venue would even compare.

inside out which meant we needed minimal decorating because of the pure beauty of the venue itself. The entire planning process was so easy working with such an amazing staff at 7VV. They have handpicked some of the absolute best vendors in the area which made some of the most daunting decisions so much easier and stress free. Lorah and Pam were so wonderful to work with and made our day exactly what we dreamed of, plus more. We have not stopped receiving positive comments from our guests about the venue, food, and service. Our day was an absolute dream and the best part about it all, is we get to continue visiting 7VV on anniversaries and other special occasions to celebrate and relive the precious memories that were made that day. To note a few of the vendors we chose that we highly recommend from their list were Donatelli's for our food and Instant Request (Brandon Holland) as our DJ who kept the dance floor full all night! Lakeside Floral handled our bouquets and centerpieces. Thank you again to 7VV - Lorah, Pam and the entire team, for being such a huge part in making our day absolutely perfect!

just warm and welcoming. The day of the wedding we had Lorah and Pam there for anything and everything that we needed. Having caterers and floral recommendations from 7 Vines was very helpful as well. Our guests many who had never been to 7 Vines were beyond impressed and we received many compliments on the whole experience. You will not be disappointed if you choose 7 Vines!

f coordinator and she was amazing!! Made sure to deal with any drama or bumps in the road with ease - they really did make our special day so amazing. Not to mention the property and building are GORGEOUS!! We had SO many compliments on the venue - from the grounds and building, the outdoor ceremony, the area for cocktail hours and the reception area. We barely needed any decorating because the venue itself is just beautiful. There are also SO many places to take photos here I don't even think we got to all of them but I am SO excited to see how they turn out. I love that we can go back and have a glass of wine and appetizers any time we'd like and relive the memories of our big day. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone!!

, outdoor games and breathtaking views, to the covered pergola wedding sight and spectacular bar area...this venue has it all!! I have been to a number of Minnesota vineyards but none of them compare to 7VV. The wine is delicious....and that was the overwhelming consensus from a few of my “wine connoisseur” friends who came to the tastings when we were choosing this venue and also numerous guests at the wedding. We chose the Marquette and La Crescent as well as the sparkling Cuvée. The only problem was it was so good, we had to order more throughout the night. Lorah and Pam were amazing “day of” coordinators and our wedding went off flawlessly!! There were a few hiccups that we entangled beforehand, which is expected, but they were handled professionally and courteously. The DJ and caterer my daughter and son in law chose were AMAZING. I liked the fact that 7VV gives you a list of reputable companies they have worked with exclusively in the past so they know their reputations. We had our own floral designer who has worked with a number of venues and even she was very impressed by how smooth everything ran the day of. I would highly recommend 7VV to any bride and groom who want a vineyard wedding experience in Minnesota!!
