Nick was an excellent DJ! Extremely professional and not at all cheesy. He sent us a comprehensive survey before the event to get a sense of our preferences/ requests, and then had a long phone call with us following up on it to make sure he understood everything we wanted. He did an excellent job, the dance floor was hopping all night long.

When you decide you want a DJ for your wedding, look no further than 802 Events and book asap! Nick is amazing! He was easy to work with, responsive, professional and listened to our requests. He was also thorough in his prep for both the ceremony and reception. From the first song to end of the night, our dance floor was packed! He read the crowd perfectly. Because my now husband is originally from India we wanted a few Bollywood tunes in the mix and Nick delivered at just the right moments! They were the highlight of the evening, not to mention his selections of Madonna songs which made for one happy bride! And did I mention his colleague Corey even spun some tunes! They can do it all! A huge thanks to 802 Events for making our wedding celebration so fun and a night we will always look back on and say “we had the best DJ”!

OMG I have so many great things to say about Nick! We found out our DJ got COVID the Monday before our wedding and he cancelled. My husband and I were SCRAMBLING. 802 Events was the first DJ I called and Nick picked up. He was very friendly and said he may have a cancellation for the weekend of our wedding. A few hours later he confirmed that he could DJ for us. Nick sent a very thorough questionnaire and we chatted on the phone about the plan day of. When the day came he was on top of everything! Our guests could hear us at the ceremony (because my husband was mic'd up) and there was no weird feedback. He coordinated with our vendors and has such an eye for the details. He played all of the songs we wanted and really figured out our vibe. I would recommend Nick and 802 Events for any DJ needs! AMAZING.

Nick was so incredible to work with throughout our wedding planning process! He met with us a few times on the phone to help us figure out what we wanted throughout our wedding weekend. He went above and beyond all weekend, setting everything up and curating amazing playlists for not only our rehearsal dinner but our welcome party and even thought of every detail down to what would play as guests arrived. Nick was absolutely amazing! We just rented the photo booth but he went above And beyond to ensure that our guests remembered to sign the guest book along with their photos and also made them comfortable in front of the camera. We got amazing and fun photos from the photo booth! Thank you so much!!

We cannot thank Nick enough for making every moment of our wedding weekend perfect. Nick did all of the audio/visual for our rehearsal dinner (which included tons of videos, a slide show, multiple mics and speakers, etc.), the sound equipment for our ceremony and cocktail hour, as well as DJing our after party. We were worried about people being able to hear in the back of each of the spaces (there is nothing worse than being at a wedding or rehearsal dinner where the people in the back can't hear), but the sound was PERFECT for every single event. I cannot even begin to express how amazing he was as a DJ at our after party - he kept the entire bar dancing until 2am and even taught my mom how to DJ which was hysterical! Nick was so easy and communicative throughout the entire planning process, and we truly cannot thank him enough!!!!

We loved working with Nick! My husband and I are pretty picky when it comes to music, and Nick was very flexible. We sent him some spotify playlists to give him an idea of what we were looking for for different parts of the evening, and he really hit the nail on the head. When it came to the dance floor, Nick has a knack for reading the room. It was clear he knew exactly what he was doing, and we felt that we were in good hands! Nick was amazing! My husband is Zambian and we had a lot of requests for a mixture of American, African, and Caribbean songs. Nick was able to find every song we requested and did a great job of making everything flow throughout the evening. The dance floor was never empty! The photo booth was really fun - our guests loved it!

I was so nervous about finding a DJ for my Vermont wedding as there are not a ton of options in the state. I stumbled upon 802DJ and saw all of the five star reviews and just took a leap of faith and booked them for m wedding at the Taconic Hotel in Manchester. I was not disappointed. Nick was extremely professional and had a lot of people dancing at my somewhat smell wedding. One of the best parts of my day is that I had not even thought about lighting and Nick had the place looking beautiful with lights he had brought with him. We had to move the location of the cocktail hour because of potential rain and Nick moved his speakers with no issue and had music playing on the Taconic Hotel's covered porch. I would recommend Nick to anyone getting married in Vermont!! He is so easy to work with.

Not only was Nick Stryker the most professional, but he was always available for questions or concerns at any point in time. Weeks before our wedding, Nick was available to speak in person and on the phone, he asked for songs we absolutely wanted, songs we didn't, how we wanted the day run, not only spellings of names in our party but pronunciations, anything special we needed from him, or anything specific we didn't want there. The day of our wedding could not have run more smoothly, and I know it was because of him. I knew Nick/ 802DJ would be good, I had no idea just HOW good they would be. We hired 802DJ for our September wedding. Nick was a pleasure to work with, was very helpful and had great suggestions during the planning process. We had Eric as our DJ, who we used for our reception as well as our ceremony. We had multiple songs for our ceremony, including background music, and Eric did awesome - was always on point! The reception went smoothly and he kept a good crowd going! I was really impressed with how everything went, and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a DJ, especially for a wedding! Our wedding vendor - West Mountain Inn - had recommended Nick at 802DJ because he's a great DJ that reads a crowd very well. 802DJ provided mics for the ceremony, music for the cocktail hour and reception, and a photo booth. He did not disappoint! He was always very professional and organized throughout the whole process and was extremely helpful with establishing a good outline for the reception that aligned with what we were looking for. He was very reliable and answered all of my questions leading up to the day. On the day of the wedding, he was very well organized and I did not have to worry about a single thing - it was absolutely fantastic! The music for the cocktail hour was perfect and he kept the reception dance floor full all evening long - it was an absolute blast! The photo booth services were also fantastic - great backdrop options and print templates. The system 802DJ uses is just fantastic - it can do all sorts of options - boomerangs, print 4x6 or photo strips, different color "filters'. I loved this system versus just a booth because it allowed for some fantastic large group photos - the printed album is something my husband and I will cherish forever - as well as receiving the digital versions, too!

Nick – and everyone from 802DJ – were an absolute pleasure to work with. We got married at Riverside Farm on 9/16/17. Our coordinator, Kim, from RF, referred us to Nick. We began corresponding with him in January and from day one he was extremely professional, helpful, organized, thorough, and always willing to jump on a quick call or provide more details, advice, suggestions, etc. Nick helped us with a plethora of services on our wedding weekend including speakers and a mic for Friday’s Welcome BBQ, mics, a guitar connection and speakers for our ceremony, speakers for our cocktail hour and an amazing photo booth setup for our reception (someone to manage the booth, the equipment and setup, props, and an incredibly thoughtful photo album we were given at the end of the evening). I will have to say, the photo booth was definitely one of the most coveted places to be Saturday night and the photos will be something we will cherish and laugh at for years and years to come. Nick went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He managed the music throughout the weekend (even when the band took a break during the reception). He helped us with the flow – and, to be honest, the overall outline – of our ceremony which was incredibly helpful and helped put our minds at ease. Everything that Nick and 802DJ provided, executed, and helped us with went off without a hitch… truly flawless. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing the entire weekend – which we had a feeling would be the case as he had been so reliable and helpful for the 8 months leading up to the wedding. It was such a joy to work with Nick and 802DJ – I HIGHLY recommend them as I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed! I really don’t know what we would have done with them!!!

802DJ was the perfect music pairing to our perfect wedding. 802DJ’s expert guidance ushered my bride and I through an efficient process to ensure we received a playlist reflective of our love, and our event. After the on-boarding, they worked independently, timely, flexibly, and quietly behind the scenes on our behalf to ensure the audio portion of our big day was perfect! They are so well versed in the music cues that make a wedding sound great, including the understanding of their role as a piece of the whole production. They were so reliable, going above and beyond the expectation we had. 802DJ provided a pro-level audio service, with wireless recordings of all audio (ceremony vows, readings, announcements, and speeches) so that we could use the technically clean tracks in our post-wedding video. This added immeasurable value to the memorializing of the celebration. 802DJ kept the wedding reception rockin’ all night! They did a great job of 'reading the room’ as every song was enthusiastically greeted by all guests, with a packed dance floor providing the ultimate proof. Working with Nick of 802 Event Group was a tremendously enjoyable experience. We chose 802 Event Group for our wedding at the West Mountain Inn and it made our weekend both memorable and perfect. From our first information request, to the planning of the full details of our day Nick made everything easy. Nick's familiarity with the area and our venue allowed him to easily provide DJ, photobooth and videography services as well as helping me to coordinate my surprise guitar performance during the reception. We worked with 802DJ for our wedding in August 2016. We worked with Nick, who was beyond fantastic. There are no words to describe how great our wedding experience was, and Nick really created the exact atmosphere that we requested. We had a blending of two cultures for our wedding, half didn't speak English and the other half didn't speak Spanish. Nick asked us for music recommendations and came up with a playlist that literally lasted for the entire night. For each moment at our wedding, Nick had the perfect song. When I told him that my main goal was to dance the night away, Nick made sure that our dance floor was always full. He even arranged a dance circle for my favorite song and surprised both myself and my husband! When the noise ordinance finished, Nick had no problem moving his equipment inside to continue our party in the basement. He was personable, funny, flexible and exceeded all of our expectations. Lastly, the photobooth was a hit! You should get the photobooth! It made for a really great break from dancing and our guests loved it! It was never empty!

Nick was very responsive and knows what he's doing. He even got ahold of my wedding coordinator the day before to get me a message to call him so he could make sure he had everything correct and I got the most out of my money. He was extremely accommodating. So happy we used him!

Nick is amazing and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ/ Videographer for their wedding. Nick made everything so seamless and provided us with a wonderful photobooth and photobook as a keepsake of pictures after the wedding. Nick also made sure that my husband and I had a drink in hand the entire night and were able to eat our dinner. He worked very well with all staff and other vendors at the wedding as well. Everyone danced all night long and he keep the dance floor packed which was a must for us! Hands down the best DJ in the state. Nick gets 5 plus for his wonderful service and music!

Nick and the crew at 802 DJ were simply fantastic, in EVERY way. First, they were one of the few DJ companies whose pricing was easy to find. No nonsense, up front, and no unexpected charges later either. Then, while working with them leading up to the wedding it was clear Nick knows his stuff and tracks on every detail. He was so knowledgeable that he helped us think through many things we would not have otherwise, ensuring we were well prepared for our event in advance! On the weekend, the crew was timely, they helped us above and beyond their own set-up needs. In fact I don't know that our ceremony would have worked anywhere near as smoothly if they hadn't taken great interest in ensuring they understood the timing of every part, even making suggestions that only seasoned professionals would know to make. The reception is where everyone thinks of the DJ's, and they certainly didn't disappoint there (I'll get to this in a second), but it was the whole experience. Most of us don't know much about planning a wedding when we start planning our own. Nick and his team get it, they listen, they make helpful suggestions, they work within your priorities and they guide where you need guidance. Ok, back to the reception. Our dance floor was full all night. The sound quality was perfect, the volume was filling the room, but still allowed folks to have conversations off the dance floor (the few that did) and Adam, our DJ for the night, knew how to read the room. We were given the opportunity in advance to lay out the type of music we would want and it was clear that 802 DJ put great thought in what they'd have cued up for us, while leaving it in Adam's hands to be attentive to the feel of the crowd. It is a year after our wedding and I still get comments, REGULARLY, about how fun our wedding was, often something to the tune of "BEST WEDDING....EVER!!!". That is in large part to Nick, Adam and 802 DJ. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Nick did amazing work at our wedding! He kept everyone dancing, and he helped create such a great energy flowing all around. Lots of our guests commented on what a great DJ he was, and he did an excellent job incorporating guest’s requests into the music flow. Overall, he is extremely professional, reliable, personable and made everything run smoothly – giving us gave us the perfect night (even with curve balls like my brother's surprise speech). I couldn’t have imagined a more fun night, or a better DJ. He was also great in the planning process, he made things easy and created a play list that was personal, yet enjoyable for everyone!

If you're getting married in Vermont- absolutely go with 802 DJ. Nick was WONDERFUL! I wish I could give them a 10 star rating! We got married at Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, VT and found 802 Events from their referral. Right from the start, working with Nick was great! He is kind, professional, and very tuned into detail. He was easy to get in touch with if I had a question and helped me to find a solution. He was quick to send a list of suggestions for songs to go with specific parts of the ceremony and reception- this was a huge help! Nick took care of my wedding ceremony and reception. He told me on my wedding day I wouldn't have to worry about a thing-and I didn't! We had the best reception, and Nick is responsible for a large part of that! He really took the time to understand the types of songs and styles of music we wanted- and was right on target the whole night. Nick had everyone dancing the whole time. We got so many compliments from our friends and family. I can't say enough good about 802 Events! After finding out that he was familiar with our honeymoon destination-after the wedding Nick even reached out us to share some of his favorite places for us to try! Eric was a fantastic Dj and MC! He kept us up on the dance floor all night! Christian manned the photo booth and kept everyone entertained all night! Even the waitstaff at the Attitash Grand Summitt Hotel got in on the fun! I could not have asked for a better DJ or photo booth attendant for my daughter's wedding! It was a great night!

Our wedding at the West Mountain Inn was such an awesome night and Nick at 802 Events was part of the reason why. He did such a superb job picking when to play our random artist track requests, mixing in guest requests and infusing his own fabulous get-on-your-feet-and-dance selections. His orchestration of the evening got almost every soul attending to dance (if you judge success by how much dancing was done that night, Nick got an A+!) The photo booth was also a must-have addition to the festivities (which was confirmed by smile after smile captured on the photo booth images). So, if you’re reading this, you don’t need to look any farther than Nick. His positive attitude and great service at 802 Events was one of reasons the celebration was so fun and such a success.

Nick was a fantastic DJ for our wedding day. He was referred to us by our venue (West Mountain Inn) as they have had him DJ numerous weddings at the venue. Nick had us fill out a detailed questionnaire, asked us any and all questions that were needed for the day of the wedding. About a week before we had a long phone call with him to literally go over every detail of the day, at previous weddings we had been to their were some technical/mic issues and we wanted reassurance that this would not happen at our wedding which Nick gave us detailed explanation on how he will make sure it will not happen at ours! On our day he made sure that everything for the ceremony went flawlessly and was a hit at the reception. He played every song we had on our 'must play' list and took those suggestions to play some awesome songs that kept the dance floor going the entire night. Literally, the dance floor did not have 1 lull and everyone danced all night. He even let a close family friend get up and put on the DJ headphones which was a crowd hit. Overall Nick was fantastic and we highly recommend him to anyone having a wedding in or around VT!

Nick was fantastic - hands down - stop your search for a DJ now and go with Nick. He is extremely professional and you can tell he has been doing this for awhile. You will fill out a music questionnaire and he will set up some time to discuss your whole vision for the wedding and answer all questions you have. I felt like I had the most complicated music schedule and questions but he handled them like a pro and made me feel at ease. During the wedding, he would check in with me every now and then to make sure things were going smooth and if I wanted to change anything. I had a few guests that wanted to make impromptu speeches at dinner and Nick was great about checking in with me to see if that was OK (and not letting the mic get passed around from guest to guest). He is also a fantastic improviser - I had requested a bouquet/garter toss during the reception and I had forgotten to put my garter on. He quickly knew what to do and just had my husband throw my bouquet to the guys which ended up being really funny. Nick is not one of those cheesy DJ's either - just cool, calm and collected, but still super fun! He also goes above and beyond what a typical DJ provides - he had made up a playlist to play after the reception to keep the after-party going with all of the rest of the songs he didn't get to play - like what?? That's top-notch service! Overall - you will be hiring a true pro that all your guests will love. As a picky bride, trust me, you are making the right decision hiring Nick (and he is VERY affordable).

Nick and company totally made our wedding!! Nick was attentive, professional, responsive, prompt, friendly, etc. From the moment I requested a quote he was on it. The photo booth was also fantastic and I highly recommend it. Every single person that my husband or I have spoke to since our wedding (6 days ago) said that it was by far the best wedding they'd ever been to and that the DJ and photo booth definitely helped to make that the case!! We could not have asked for a better DJ! Nick was amazing! Everyone loved him! We aren't a dancing family so we didn't expect lots of people to be on the dancefloor. But Nick kept people dancing all night long! Everyone from the youngest guest to our grandparents loved the music selections and had fun. Nick was also super aware of the guests and even checked in with my grandparents during dinner to make sure that the volume on the speakers was good so that they could hear speeches but still talk over the dinner music. We couldn't recommend more highly! The experience working with Nick was great and he helped make our wedding day wonderful!

Nick was great to work with! My husband and I had a lot of fun working with him and coming up with the flow of our day. We weren't really sure what we exactly wanted for reception music, but Nick quickly found the group's preferences and kept the dance floor moving the whole night! Adam was the DJ at our wedding this past weekend and absolutely set the tone for an amazing night! He came prepared with all of the details we discussed in the weeks leading up to the wedding but was still flexible and happy to adjust the schedule as the night went on. I can not say enough how wonderful Nick was as our dj!! He was more than attentive, professional and kept the party rocking!!! My wedding guests started chanting "one more song" at the end of the night!! Being in the wedding industry myself, I had high expectations and 802dj met them above and beyond!! It's hard not to have fun in a photobooth...that being said, our photobooth experience with 802DJ was pretty great. We worked with Nick Stryker, and planned all of the details for the wedding day over email, and a couple of phone calls. Nick was fantastic about answering all of my incessant bride questions..."what kind of props do you have? What backdrops do you offer? Can you provide a scrapbook? etc. etc." He worked with me, and helped put me at ease! He even offered to help me create a life-sized Polaroid cutout (thank you Pinterest...) when I told him that I wanted one as a prop in the booth. In general, Nick was extremely accommodating. This was especially true at our wedding!!! He stayed past his contract time, until all the guests were out of the reception. I have some phenomenal late night/last minute group photo sessions to cherish forever thanks to Nick. I highly recommend 802DJ's photo booth services!!!

802DJ was so awesome for my wedding! I was really nervous about what songs were going to be played and he was super helpful with reassuring me everything would work out. We had a 2 year old at our wedding who was not wanting settle down and Nick was so great to give him his head phones so he could listen to music. It was the greatest night of his life and thats all because Nick was so nice!! I highly recommend 802DJ!!!!!

802DJ was amazing they were very organized and made sure that the day went nice and smooth. They also had a photo booth that you can rent. It is amazing as well and a great way to get funny shots of the night. I would use them for all my events!!!!!!!

WOW! I have always felt the DJ and photographer were the two most important aspects to any great wedding. I wa SOOO happy with 802DJ, he kept the dance floor crowded from 6pm to 12:30am. He played fantastic music that the entire crowd (young, old, single, married) loved and enjoyed. Eveyrone has been raving about how much fun they had at our wedding and it's all because of the DJ! We also decided to have the photoboot at our wedding...BEST IDEA EVER! Guest LOVED it, had so much fun, and the pictures are priceless! Would recommend 802DJ for any wedding, party or event that you want your guest to dance and and tell you how much fun they had at for years to come.
