We loved getting the chance to work with Mark at 815 Events! We used him for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and we can honestly say we’d choose them again! Everything went so smoothly and there were never any hiccups between various aspects of the ceremony or of the reception. He did such a great job at keeping people on the dance floor and engaged!

Mark Pardue was an absolute pleasure to work with. We found out about him because he was actually a DJ at a wedding we attended and we really appreciated how he ran the reception, the music selections, and his professionalism. We had our wedding at WinMock this past weekend and Mark and his team did an amazing job! We gave him very little direction and let him ran with it. The music selections and timing were spot on and everyone loved the photo booth. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

815 events did a decent job, but the week before the wedding I found out that the DJ we talked to and scheduled everything with was not going to be running the ceremony and reception. He was sending another DJ for that. If we had known that several weeks prior it would've been better. Also the guy that ran the ceremony did not come to the rehearsal. We also had a few hiccups with him on the wedding day. He didn't play certain songs or didn't play them long enough especially during the ceremony.

We had Mark DJ our wedding at the Millennium Center and we had a blast! We met with Mark a few times leading up to the wedding and he helped us put together our timeline and could not have been more helpful. Mark brought additional lighting for our party and it really set the ambiance we were looking for. We ended our wedding with 3,000 glow sticks and told Mark we wanted to have a rave. He was 100% on board and blew the roof off of the place. Mark made the wedding a really fun party and helped make sure our timing we as how we requested. With as overwhelming as the day can be we lost track of time and Mark made sure we were able to include all of the special dances and games that we requested. If you are looking for someone to turn your wedding reception into a party we highly recommend using 815 Events and going with Mark.

Overall a good choice. There were some awkward silence moments that I feel like the DJ should make sure are avoided. A lot of songs went on too long and should have been faded out to other so songs. Also played the incorrect song for father/daughter dance and left another some out. Overall everything went well, I'm happy with our choice but there is always room for improvement .

Mark at 815 Events DJ'ed our wedding in August 2014 and he was the absolute BEST of the DJ's we spoke with before selecting one. The price for his services were in line with our budget and Mark worked with us to make sure he had all the music we wanted played. The evening of our reception, Mark played music that was appropriate for our audience of 250, but also got the party started. He helped us stay on schedule throughout the evening and was an amazing Master of Ceremonies; helping to corral the audience and keep the party going at the same time. If you want a professional, courteous DJ who works with you for months leading up to your wedding - Mark at 815 Events is your guy! Mark met with us as many times as we needed and accommodated our schedule to help us get the best outcome and it all culminated in one perfect wedding evening.

Mark was so personable and really helped guide our reception along. I don't think it would have been as fun without the structure and guidance he gave to it. The music was great, more people danced than I thought would. Everyone remarked how much fun it was. He had some really great ideas and understood exactly what we wanted and then brought it to life. He was also super flexible. The shoe game was great and very entertaining, perfect for the transition from eating to dancing. I would definitely recommend his services!

We had a great time planning the ceremony and reception. The DJ (Mark) had great ideas to work with our baseball theme. Also, he was great setting up the timeline for the day as well as keeping the reception flowing the whole afternoon.

We loved the music for the wedding some romantic some hard core rock and roll no cap rap thank the sword. We are very appreciative for those who helped make our wedding moments last and wanted to send our sincere thanks to the DJ and his crew for making Sebastian andy my wedding a special night well recommended appreciated.

We had an amazing experience with Mark Pardue and 815 events. From our first visit with Mark we knew we were good to go. He was extremely organized and even gave us a booklet with ideas for music to be played during every part of the wedding. My wife was adamant about walking down the isle at the perfect time during our song and Mark was able to loop the song so that it sounded like a part of the song and not sound like it was on repeat. He mentioned how even if your venue has its own in house entertainment system that he brings his own backup speakers in the event something were to happen to them. He informed us that he had done some wedding planning in the past which was great because we didnt have a planner. He literally helped us plan our event down to the minute. He was seriously the glue that held our event together and I would have gladly paid double what he charged by the time the night was over. Another nice thing about 815 events is that they offer unlimited hours of service for a flat rate where as other DJs may only stay for 3-4 hours. This is great especially since some DJs charge outrageous prices per hour after your original time is up. We highly recommend him for any wedding event.

Our wedding was amazing thanks to Mark! Even people who wouldn't normally have danced got up to dance. He played all songs we asked for and was so awesome for working with our ideas. Mark was always available for meetings, emails, and answered everything quickly. He was such a sweet person too. Thank you Mark for making our wedding dreams come true.

I was a bit disappointed by Mark. He hardly ever returned my emails. He said he would make me a timeline, but when he finally got around to it it was wrong and I wound up writing it myself. The song I wanted for our procession wasn't loud enough. He wasn't able to corrall our families for an entrance. He played songs that were not on my list. But he did play songs and show up.

We loved working with Mark! He was well organized, professional, and very dependable. He was always available for meetings before our wedding and even offered great logistical suggestions. He knew how to get people to "shake their groove thang." We would recommend 815 Events to anyone!

When we first started working with these folks we were working directly with the owner, who we thought would be our DJ. After a few months, he said he would be out-sourcing it to another DJ. The other DJ was okay, but the reason we had gone with 815 in the first place was because we liked the owners personality and felt he really "got" what we wanted. We didn't feel the out-sourced DJ really understood what we wanted. I will say that they spent a few hours at our rehearsal and were there pretty much the entire day. Definitely got our $$ worth.
