I am so happy we booked A+ Entertains for my wedding at the castle! Patrick was so fun to work with, and played the best music to get people dancing all night. Thomas was also very helpful with tips during the planning and timeline process. We could not have asked for a better DJ and company to work with!

A+ Entertains was phenomenal! The owner Thomas was so helpful with any questions we had. Our Dj was Patrick and he was absolutely amazing to work with! He went out of his way to help us in the buffet line with our food, he played awesome music and everyone had a great time on the dance floor! Our wedding guests and ourselves absolutely loved his playlist, he did such a great job ! Would highly recommend!!

Luke killed it at our wedding!! We got SO many compliments from guests on how great the DJ was at reading the room. People were out on the dance floor the WHOLE night. We knew the DJ was the most important thing to splurge on and it was worth every penny. Luke was incredibly accommodating, as our venue wasn't traditional, he had to have two set ups.

Thomas was our rock from start to finish. He was always prompt with his responses and willing to meet whenever we needed to have a planning session. His positive attitude and helpful advice were greatly appreciated throughout the process. His digital platform for contracts, wedding day events and playlists was easy to use and helped us stay organized. I also highly encourage A+ Entertainment customers to spring for the wedding coordinator package; Carly was worth every penny on our big day!

Thomas was FANTASTIC!! He was incredibly easy to work with and was very detail oriented during our multiple planning meeting. We had numerous comments on how fun and entertaining he was throughout the night. He was professional and you know he has been in business for a while because everything was set up perfectly and worked great. Our dance floor was never empty. There is an option to add on a photo booth, which we did and our guests loved it. It was also a creative way for us to have a unique guestbook. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A+ Entertains!!!!!

Let’s just start by saying A+ Entertains is AMAZING, but Thomas himself is OUTSTANDING and an overall great guy! He called us before the wedding to get to know us, go over the timeline, details, and always kept in constant communication. We completely trusted him with song choices. He helped with the ceremony music, and he ran the reception efficiently. He kept the dance floor full and fun, read the crowd, and was so flexible! Thomas was able to combine both of our versions of our relationship over the years, and he provided our guests with what he calls our love story. That was one of our favorite moments of the night, Thomas portrayed our story perfectly. We received so many compliments from our guests on how personal he made our reception. HUGE recommendation for Thomas Heath & his team at A+ Entertainment! My husband had worked with DJs before at weddings and knew he wanted a unique, personable individual to provide music, MC and coordinate our wedding reception. Thomas is SO incredibly talented and kept our party going all night. He took the time prior to the wedding to get to know us, what our ideal evening looked like, how we wanted our guests to feel and what personal twists we wanted to add to our day. He works through an online portal so you can personalize and do most everything online. On the day of our wedding, he was on time and brought all his own equipment. He introduced our wedding party with fun facts about each person and why they were special to us. He had us tell our own love story, which he retold to our guests before our first dance. It was such a special moment, our favorite of the entire day to be exact. That moment alone was worth hiring A+ Entertainment. A+ Entertains does an exceptional job. I am a wedding planner and booked them for my own wedding this October. Patrick did an incredible job and we heard so many good things. The dance floor was PACKED the entire night. We had a blast. It was nothing short of a perfect experience from start to finish. We met with Thomas a few months before and knocked out everything: the no list, the top requests, the timeline, even special touches for our big day. Him and his wife have a sweet set-up and even had a custom sign to welcome us. The day of Patrick greeted us at the head table and even brought us a drink. He made sure we were good the whole night. A+ entertainment was the perfect choice for our wedding. We chose Tom as our mc/dj and he did an amazing job working with us to create the perfect playlist for our wedding. He was always willing to chat with us to make sure we were all on the same page. You can tell he loves what he does! The dance floor was packed all night and our guests loved him! We used A+ entertains for our September wedding. Tom was absolutely amazing. Tom's attention to detail was outstanding. He listened to what we wanted, and he added his own style flair. He put on one hell of a show for us. The dance floor was NEVER empty. We all enjoyed ourselves. Even 2 months after the wedding, our guests cannot stop raving about the entertainment. Tom and his team at A+ are the best of the best. From the very beginning stages the really take the time to make sure your vision of the event is perfect. During this process they were detailed, organized, and overall wonderful to communicate with. In the days leading up to the wedding there was great communication to put our minds at ease. Then the day of the wedding our expectations were exceeded. And our guests were blown away. Tom, Shannon, and Patrick did a wonderful job holding the whole evening together. They take care of everything, from helping you get your first meal, to keeping everyone engaged and dancing! Book A+ and you will not be disappointed with their excellent service.

We were happy with the service from our DJ day of, despite our day of coordinator expressing some difficulty with working with him. However, overall the communication prior to the wedding was poor, including multiple e-mails and texts going unanswered and pre-wedding meetings being redundant.

Thomas and A+ Entertainment made our wedding the best day ever! He played beautiful live music at our ceremony, kept all our guests on the dance floor, and helped our wedding flow smoothly from start to finish. I had four phone calls with Thomas before the wedding day so he could really understand what was important to us. He also made sure all of our bridal party's names were pronounced correctly (which not everyone makes an effort to do!). His planning forms made the planning process extremely easy and helped me feel confident that everything would turn out the way we wanted it. Thank you Thomas for helping us have the best day ever!

Such an amazing company!! From the day we scheduled until the day of our wedding, A+ Entertainment was top notch. My husband and I worked with Tom from over a year out from our wedding until 2 weeks prior, and he made our lives so much easier. Between the online profile and the countless video calls, I don't think we could've planned this well without Tom. I was initially upset because we had gotten very close to Tom throughout the process and wanted him as our DJ, but then we met Patrick and things just kept getting better. I can say with full certainty - out of every vendor we worked with, Patrick was by far the best (and we ADORED all of our vendors so that's saying a lot!). He helped us with our song choices, gave us so much flexibility when we kept changing our minds, and treated us like true royalty the day of. My now husband and I got married on August 3 of this year. We had the pleasure of working directly with Thomas for our big day. When we met him last year when we were researching djs Thomas definitely stuck out to us. He presented things that no other DJ presented. We instantly knew he would be involved with our guests and that he knew what he was doing. Leading up to our big day we had two different video chats with him both making us feeling extremely comfortable that everything was handled. When you’re planning a destination wedding and live 4 hours away that’s the main thing you want is relief knowing everything is going to be perfect. The day of the wedding Thomas was seriously perfect. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house, especially him! That just shows you how much he really cares about his clients. He did this thing called a love story and we had a ton of guests come up to us after telling us how unique and cool that was because they didn’t know our full love story. We would pick Thomas and A+ Entertainment over and over again. We didn’t have one single regret plus Thomas has two rescue pits just like us! Thank you again A+ you guys definitely did an A+ job!!!

Our wedding was this past Friday at Castle Farms in Charlevoix. Our DJ (Thomas) was a huge part of how successful our wedding was. From the beginning, he took the the time to get to know us as people, not just another bride and groom. We had a moderately untraditional plan for how things would flow, and Thomas took it all in stride, providing a seamless experience. The set up of the DJ equipment was impressive to say the least. My guests had a blast and I literally just got a text from a guest saying how she is still sore from dancing so much. He was attentive during the reception, without being in our faces the whole night. We were not from the Charlevoix area, and we were able to get recommendations for other services and vendors in the area from him that we may not have discovered on our own. A+ Was a pleasure to work with. Me and my wife had them dj our wedding. Thomas was great. Always checked with us to make sure we were doing alright. Helped me with my fear of public speaking. Carried our plates to our table for us. And was a genuinely great person. He made sure we were comfortable and having a good time the whole night. He came up to us multiple times to see if we wanted to push anything from our timeline back to give us more time to mingle. Honestly did not expect that from the dj. He went above and beyond. He had a great playlist and also worked off of some songs we sent him.. He got just about everyone out of their seats to dance which I didn't expect as our guests are not really the dancing type. I highly recommend A+ and will 100% use them again if I ever need a dj again

Working with Thomas was awesome (He was our DJ/MC). He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He really helped us throughout the planning process and when the big day was here, he was great! I would not hesitate to recommend using him. The photo booth was great too!

It was hard to pick a DJ until we called and talked to Thomas. He was so nice, helpful and full of information I knew he was the right choice after one phone call! The music was perfect and it kept our guests on the dance floor all night! Thomas really listened to the music we like and made sure to play it throughout the night. Thomas did a great job DJing our wedding! He was very friendly and personable in every touchpoint we had, and he ensured that he knew all the details of the wedding and what the music would sound like. He also did a great job transitioning to different parts of the wedding (parent dances, cake cutting, etc.) and even had a small part where after compiling stories of how we met from each of us, he combined them and told the story at the wedding. Thomas kept the dance floor full and was a key part of our wedding being so special!

We vetted a few DJs before choosing A+ Event Entertainment for our February wedding at Castle Farms. Thomas Heath was very friendly and easy to talk to, up front about his pricing, and very enthusiastic about not only being a DJ but also helping us plan parts of our wedding. We had several consultation calls with Thomas prior to our wedding, during which he spent time getting to know us and provided us with planning advice. We planned our entire wedding from 750 miles away, and never had a doubt about the DJ we chose. Thomas has been fantastic every step of the way, and his wife, Shannon, was always prompt with e-mail questions and communications. The day of our wedding, Thomas and his assistant looked great; they even coordinated with our wedding colors! We opted for the “master of ceremonies” option, wherein Thomas put together a nice speech about my husband’s and my relationship history. It really was a lovely touch. Thomas paid attention to what music we wanted for our cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Not all of our guests were the “dancing type”, but Thomas was able to get folks out on the dance floor throughout the evening. I even had some guests comment about how they loved that he got on the dance floor with us! We had a wonderful experience with Thomas and Shannon at A+ Event Entertainment as our wedding DJ, and highly recommend them!

The owners, Thomas and Shannon, helped guide us throughout the process; in fact, we had multiple meeting with Thomas where we got to ask questions and provide him with our vision. A+ Event Entertainment is more than just a "DJ". I didn't realize it at the time, I had read the reviews but after meeting with Thomas and his team, I was amazed at just how involved and dedicated to the job they were going to be. I think that is why we paid the extra to have Thomas there. It was such a relief to know that we didn't have to organize how the night was going to play out, we were able to enjoy our wedding without worrying about those little details. Thomas is a true showman and he kept our reception on schedule to utilize every minute of the night to the most potential. To have that peace of mind was worth every penny. Thomas and his team met with us multiple times before the wedding, and made sure we were all on the same page. We told them what music genres we liked and wanted to stick to, we received so many compliments on the range of music that catered to all the age groups at the reception. Not only that, but Thomas made sure to keep everyone involved and really helped keep the reception on track. We've been to multiple weddings, usually its just a guy with a laptop and an iTunes playlist. That is what we did not want. We wanted someone to run the show, to have the experience and knowledge to know what a fun, enjoyable, and tasteful reception looks like. You can tell that this is truly his passion. We can't recommend A+ Event Entertainment enough. You will not regret it. Also, Thomas played the violin for our ceremony which was such a relief to be able to have the music for our ceremony and reception covered all in one package. If you are looking for complete peace of mind, then you have to choose A+ Event Entertainment.

A+ event entertainment was great to work with! The entire team was so professional and very easy going. My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state which overall made the process a little more challenging initially. However, Thomas and Shannon were very flexible in setting up Skype, FaceTime, and phone calls at any time of the day that met our needs. Patrick and Chris were the DJs at our wedding and they definitely delivered! The dance floor was packed the entire night. They put us at ease the minute our reception started and we couldn't have asked for a better night!

Thomas and Shannon were absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish! They took the worry out of the whole process. Thomas was the MC and DJ at our wedding (along with a fantastic assistant), and Shannon (MIFunBooth) provided photo booth services, and included an awesome backdrop and props. We have many photo strips of memories that will last us a lifetime. Their professionalism and experience were evident throughout. Thomas listened to our requests and put together a killer playlist. He cared about the subtle details and showed that he wanted to make our experience unique and matching to our theme/tone. We got SO many compliments on the music and the event overall. The “Love Story” was definitely one of highlights of the event; very well put together and a different/nice touch that you don’t see at other weddings. It was really appreciated since we didn’t have to explain it to family that we haven’t seen in years! Their website was very friendly and easy to use. They are very prompt to respond to emails and other requests, unlike some other vendors. The uplighting was awesome and complimented our colors well, and made the venue truly come alive. They also provided music for our ceremony and he made all of my custom music work flawlessly. Highly recommended!!

Amazing people! Patrick and Chris made our day so special, it would not have gone so smoothly without them. They even made sure we had drinks at our table when we arrived. Chris L. was the best DJ/MC we could have ever asked for! We had so many guests come up and tell us how awesome he was. His music was perfectly timed for our special moments, supplied a killer soundtrack for the whole night, and had an amazing personality that had everyone engaged. EVERYONE headed for the dance floor for the first open dance and it was amazing. Chris truly went out fo his way for us and our wedding would not have been what it was without him.

We had a fantastic wedding day and it is largely due to Thomas and Shannon/A+ Event entertainment. A + Event Entertainment went above and beyond typical DJ duties. Thomas worked with us through our whole engagement and helped us with space planning at our event, wedding details and really made it a priority to get to know us as a couple so we were reflected in our reception. Our DJ was Patrick and so he was the best! He also went above and beyond even carried my dinner plate for me as the bride. He was very calm and made sure the flow of our wedding was smooth. The A+ Event Entertainment team was great! We really enjoyed working with Thomas & Patrick. The team was professional, well organized, and made our wedding run extremely smoothly. I booked Tom and Shannon 16 months prior to my wedding after talking with them for 10 minutes. Tom is not only a DJ, but also acts as a wedding planner. He coordinated with all of our vendors prior to the event so everyone was on the same page. There was not a moment the dance floor was empty, even until the very last song. I had numerous compliments from other people saying they never saw a DJ so detail-oriented and involved. My favorite thing that Tom did was ask my husband and I to each write a "love story" with provided questions that he incorporated into our wedding reception, and he also gave very detailed descriptions of our bridal party so our guests could see just why these people were so important in our lives that we asked them to be in our wedding party. The website you have to plan your music / entertainment is so easy to use, and you can make changes as often as you like until a week or so before the wedding. Tom was even at our wedding venue the day before to make sure there were no technology glitches, met with our wedding planner TWICE with us throughout the planning process, and did the tour of our facility when we went for our initial visit. He always went ABOVE AND BEYOND! From day one, Tom and Shannon made sure that you were comfortable, had questions answered, and were completely satisfied with their services. Communication was never an issue, and if you had questions at any point throughout the planning period he answered them honestly and with confidence (he has lots of experience and attends seminars to further his education). They remained professional for the entire process and I am actually sad the wedding is over because I enjoyed working with Tom and Shannon so much. If you are looking for someone with an amazing personality who does more than play music, this DJ is right for you. He will be involved in your day just like a close friend would, and you will be so thankful to have him working with you to make your day even more special. I will highly recommend them to any couple that is in need of a DJ and I am very thankful Tom was on our team for our wedding. You will not regret working with Tom and Shannon - I know I don't!

Thomas and Shannon are an absolute pleasure to work with. We were in constant contact with them from the day we booked them all the way up to our wedding day. Shannon replies to emails instantaneously it seems, often responding within 5 minutes regardless of me emailing her with questions at 4am or 4pm. We had multiple video chats with them in order to make sure that they understood exactly what we wanted at the wedding and so that they'd have a chance to get to know us. Patrick was our DJ and master of ceremonies and he did a miraculous job. Despite our venue being uncomfortably hot, he managed to play such a fun arrangement of music that many of our guests stayed on the dance floor all night. He was very quick to pick up on exactly what made people get up and dance, and kept the party going.

Thom and Shannon were dedicated to making our experience a great one. They are very organized in their communication style and have a very streamline approach to gathering the information needed to make our event meet/ exceed our expectations. Luke was our Master of Ceremonies. There was never a dull moment on the dance floor! Everyone had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Tom is an amazing DJ! I’m Latina and requested Latin music for my wedding. I gave him a list of favorites and he went about and beyond. Everyone danced the night away! Also, the lighting and monogram was a nice touch. It really set the ambiance! I highly recommend A+ Event Entertainment!!!

Their dedication and experience with wedding receptions made our night much less stressful with the overall planning and logistics. Wonderful experience working with Patrick for our big day as DJ. There's a questionnaire you fill out with some must play and absolutely must not play songs and all the information for your party, plus how much involvement you want the DJ to have, etc. We skyped a couple of times with Patrick as well which was nice to get to know him a little bit before we met him on our wedding day. He did a fantastic job with the music, announcements, and keeping things on schedule. He was also sweet enough to bring me and my husband a plate of the passed appetizers while we were doing pictures so we wouldn't miss out! Fantastic experience, can't thank Patrick enough!

Wow! What a day/night we had thanks to A+! From the preplanning to the day of, they made everything fun and easy! Everyone was on the dance floor until the final song! Great selection of music that kept everyone dancing all night long, even my 91 year old grandma!

Tom and Patrick did an outstanding job for my wedding reception. Not only did they keep the guests on their feet.. they made the entire night go just perfectly. Tom was a savor to us! After things started to fall apart, Tom stepped in to help however he could! He took on way more than simply master of ceremonies/dj! He kept the dance floor full, and kept it fun! We planned our wedding from hours away and we're a little nervous, but Tom had totally exceeded our expectations!

Like from A+ Entertainment kept the party going all night long! He did exactly what we asked of him, and we were picky! He kept the energy high and everyone enjoyed dancing for hours. I cannot say enough amazing things about A+ Entertainment. Having Tom as our master of ceremonies was a good decision! He was always right there asking if we needed anything. He worked well with last minute decisions when we told him we were one speech down, no one even knew that we were missing something. Before the wedding was also a great experience, I talked to him on two separate occasions about the wedding planning and he helped in any way possible. It helped to get comfortable and to get to know each other. He didn't do our ceremony music but he answered all my questions that I had with that process also, for example how many songs I needed. The online website he has to enter in all the information related to what songs you want played, to important people in the wedding, to every step in the process of wedding planning with the timing of everything was very easy to use. Without him I would be lost at the timeline of a wedding! He made the entire process so much easier.

Tom and Shannon were amazing!! We're so glad our caterer recommended A+ entertainment. Tom made everything so easy and he was so helpful. By the end of our video planning conferences we felt as he was a close friend we've known for years.

Luke at A+ Event Entertainment did an awesome job at our wedding reception. Luke made sure the night flowed smoothly and even got out on the dance floor to get our guests dancing. We had a lot of fun! Would definitely recommend using this DJ service!

Tom did an incredible job as the DJ for our wedding... from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing! We gave him a list with 20 songs broken down into must play, play if possible, and do not play, and he was able to use that list to determine songs that fit our taste for the entire night (as well as taking requests from guests). We received numerous compliments from our guests on the music and the dance floor was full all night long! Tom was organized and prepared and kept everything running smoothly. He was friendly, energetic, and personable. We are thrilled with and thankful for our choice of a DJ and definitely recommend A+ to couples getting married in Northern Michigan!

Tom was great!! He is a jack of all trades! Loved how he incorporated Alice in Wonderland music at dinner, introduction of us and at the cake cutting!! (we had an Alice in Wonderland theme reception) We had live musicians play during cocktail hour and at dinner, he was one of them, and they were awesome!!! A+ Event Entertainment really sets the bar high for other Dj's!!

A+ did a fantastic job all night! Patrick was very attentive and made sure that my groom and I were always taken care of from the time they got there, always checking in to see if we needed anything to drink, anything cleared out of our way, etc. I barely remember the introduction of the wedding party as the entire day was a blur but I do remember everyone was on their feet and energized...was such a great moment that my ears remember even though my eyes don't! The addition of the drum set was by far the coolest factor ­ sounded like a live band was performing without having to pay a live band price. Prior to the big day Patrick was also super helpful in assisting me with the order of events, making suggestions for when to do the toasts, first dance, etc which was super helpful and made the evening flow much better than it would have had I left it the way I had originally planned. I can't recommend them enough ­ they really provided a great experience and had people out on the dance floor until the end of the show...thank you for enhancing our day!

We just got married in May at the Perry Hotel and had A+ Entertainment provide the music for our ceremony and reception. Tom was our DJ and he did an awesome job. Our dance floor was packed the entire night! I am so glad we booked A+ Entertainment for our wedding. They were so easy to work with and did a great job communicating with us via phone and email (we were planning our wedding from out of town). If you want a DJ that your guests will love then definitely go with A+ Entertainment. They will not disappoint! We've had SO many compliments since our special day about the DJ and I'm sure we'll keep hearing them for years to come. :)

Tom is an Awesome DJ!! We had him do our wedding April 28th, and I had interviewed about 4 DJ's altogether. He was the least pushy and cocky (sorry, I don't know if Im allowed to say that on here, but it's the truth :)). All of our guests loved how he interacted with all of us on the dance floor and just really enjoyed all the music he played. It was a fun night and we owe that to Tom for making all of our guests have a fun night. Thanks so much!!!

Fantastic DJ for our daughters wedding! Tom kept the reception right on track, and really listened to our choices. Lovely and appropriate dining music, great introductions, and even found "Moon River" for the bride to dance with her grandfather. He was classy and fun, and really got the party hopping into the night. Very professional and great to work with. I would recommend Tom to anyone! Thank you for making my daughters wedding the night of her dreams!!

Tom did an amazing job with our wedding; not only did he set the perfect mood for the night, there was not an empty spot on the dance floor all night!! Tom was able to easily create the perfect reception atmosphere for our Lord of the Rings wedding and he went above and beyond for our cocktail hour music and our dinner music by playing all Lord of the Rings and Celtic instrumentals. He did a great, thorough job and went above and beyond anything we could have ever dreamed!!!

We had our wedding at the Castle and Tom was our DJ and emcee for the night and did a fantastic job. He did everything we asked him to do, he played the songs we asked him to and made sure we were ok when our guests selected a genre we put on our do not play list before he played any. We received several compliments on our DJ. He really kept the dance floor packed all night, which is exactly what we wanted! We would definitely recommend Tom and A+ Entertainment. Tom had Patrick come and play the bongos which was a nice touch (not to mention they were a big hit with our guests later in the evening).

By far the best vendor I had at my wedding. Patrick was AMAZING! He checked in with the husband and myself so much during the evening to make sure we were ok and didn't need anything. He offered to release our tables for us when our caterer failed to do so. The music was wonderful. Our ceremony was outside and it was rainy and he still set up and played. I cannot thank Patrick and A+ Entertainment enough for being there for us. They definitely put our memorable day over the top!

The ceremony music was great. They were able to learn a song we requested that my wife wanted to walk down the isle to. Our DJ was even better. He did a great job with the music selection and was very helpful with the reception.

Loved working with A+ Entertainment! They have an easy online form that allowed me to enter all of the songs we wanted played at different points in the evening. I was worried that some of the less mainstream songs wouldn't be able to played, but Patrick played everything! He was so easy to work with, professional, and checked in with us several times during the day to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend A+!

Tom is awesome! He is more than just a DJ. He emceed the whole event and kept the night flowing and fun. He was also extremely patient and responsive during the whole planning process. He answered all my questions (and trust me, I had a million of them!). When I requested specific genres of music for different parts of the evening, he actually took the time to research music to create a a most excellent playlist. He really loves what he does!

Let me start off by saying that I did not have the best experience booking a DJ for my wedding. I initially signed a contract and placed a deposit with another DJ company who ended up backing out on my husband and I 5 months before our wedding. So when we were looking for another DJ we wanted to go with a company that was very reputable so we would not run into this problem again. When speaking to Tom from A+ entertainment he immediately put all of my worries at ease and he was extremely professional. If I was providing a rating based on my interactions with the owner Tom it would be a 5 out of 5. Sadly, there were just a few miss steps the day of the wedding that prevent me from giving more then 3 stars. The first problem I had was during the dinner service. The DJ who was playing our event did not play any of the music I had requested. I spent a lot of time going through the available music they had in their system to craft a playlist and he didn't play a single song. Then after dinner was over I approached the DJ to ask if he had seen any of our requested songs and he said he only had what the owner printed for him (which the list of requested songs for dinner was there) but he didn't have any of the other songs I had requested using their online planning system. I don't know what the point of having the online system is if they don't look at it?? Another issue I had with the evening is that after dinner was over the DJ continued to play cocktail music (all instrumental). I really thought this was a missed opportunity to get everyone going on the dance floor. I ended up having to say something to the DJ about playing more up beat music and he responded by saying people looked like they were more in "cocktail mode" still.... in my opinion the music is what should be setting the mood! In the end, everyone did get out on the dance floor and it was a great evening. I just wish that with all the planning and thought I put into the music selection it would have been played. If I could give 3.5 stars a would because my overall experience was more then "meh" but the day of the wedding fell short of my expectations and I guess that's the day that counts.

I'm going to start this off by saying I'm not much of a complainer and contemplated not posting this review, but, since I chose this company because of their flawless reviews, I decided to post mine since I had a not so flawless experience. To start with some positive, all of my preparation and communications with Tom were very positive. He responded quickly on email and very easy to talk to. A+ Entertains' planning tools are a great way to get discussion going and figure out what we want. I hired Tom for his DJ services and the string trio. The trio was great! We received many compliments on them! Now for the negative, the start of the reception was very awkward. Directly after our grand entrance, there was supposed to be a whole wedding dance to set up an atmosphere of fun, which was an idea Tom had brought to us 2 days before the wedding during our drive to Charlevoix. We agreed to this, but it didn't happen at the wedding which lead to the confusion of some guests and the wedding party who had been given instruction to come to the dance floor. Following our first dance was supposed to be the father-daughter dance, but instead there was a very awkward pause and Tom had to come over to me at the sweetheart table to ask me questions in front of the whole wedding. I had to tell him that the Father Daughter dance was next, followed by toasts, which he did find once he looked back at his clipboard. In short, the part of the night from the grand entrance through the special dances and toasts was very awkward. In the moment, I rolled with it, but afterwards many guests commented on it seeming disorganized. As someone who planned my wedding out minute by minute, I wasn't very pleased that it looked disorganized. All things considered, the string trio was great, general dancing was great (Tom had very good music transitions and selections), but there was a lack of organization that I hadn't expected. Based on A+ Entertains amazing reviews, I had expected a bit more.

From the very beginning phone call Thomas was great! Extremely down to earth and personable. He listened to what we wanted and delivered on it perfectly. He gave us a call a few days before the big day to check in and go over last minute details which was very nice. The day of he was great at keeping us laughing and smiling and making sure everything went smoothly. He even went and got us both a glass of wine while we got our food! He kept everyone dancing and played requests and made the evening just perfect. We could not recommend A + Even Entertainment more!!

Tom was great all night, very professional yet funny and personable. He played great songs and kept the dance floor moving all through the night. He was also a great help when it came to our events throughout the night.

My husband and I hired Tom and his trio (guitar, bass and violin) for our ceremony, and part of the reception. He was incredibly fair on the price, and was so awesome to work with. He truly wants whatever you want. I wanted to walk down to a certain song and they learned the song just for our event. Even to the reception we last minute added a couple speakers, changed some dances and he didn't ask a question, he actually made a really nice suggestion which I'm so so happy he did. I would highly recommend contacting Tom and his group, not only is there music awesome, he is incredibly professional, genuine and did an amazing job.

We had Patrick as our DJ and my husband, family, and I were so happy with our DJ services! He played a great variety of music and kept the dance floor going all night. He was professional and great to work with - he really helped with the flow of the night and did a great job coordinating with other vendors to make things run smoothly! A+ sends you detailed planning forms ahead of time and Patrick talked to me the week of the wedding to make sure he had all the details. During the wedding he made sure I had a plate of food and even danced with me when I couldn't find my husband haha He even got out on the dance floor and helped lead some of the dances with the guests. Would recommend them to anyone! Thanks Patrick!

What an absolutely wonderful wedding we had! And a big part of that was the music and entertainment. During the ceremony, we had live guitar and violin (which included a song that the musicians learned just for our event), live music for cocktail hour and during dinner, and also to accompany the DJ. After that, we had a huge selection of dance and fun music, suitable for all of the age groups of our wedding guests. We had so many compliments on our wedding and many of our guests (including a very picky aunt) said that our wedding was the best they had ever been to! A big part of that is due to A+. My wife and I are extremely happy that we chose Tom (A+ Event Entertainment) as our DJ. He exceeded all expectations, and really made the night what it was. We had a half-Polish, half-Mexican wedding, and he mixed in both traditions flawlessly, and managed to play the most perfect combination of songs imaginable, throughout the entire night. I think we may have had more compliments on the DJ than on the food, and we had delicious authentic Mexican and Polish food, so that is really saying something. Not only did Tom DJ, but he also played live Jazz music during dinner, which really made the night very special. Tom's prices are extremely reasonable. We got such an amazing value, with the entire ceremony and reception covered, along with an hour of live Jazz. If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding, you just found him.

Working with Tom at A+ Entertainment was an awesome experience and they made our day beautiful. We really wanted strings for our ceremony but a DJ for the reception and they were able to give us BOTH without breaking our budget. They're super thorough with their pre-event worksheets and even learned the song that we wanted to use for our recessional.
