Owner Amanda Desroches leads a team of experienced florists that has been delighting clients with their stunning floral displays for years. Though headquartered in Acushnet, the A & K Floral Designs team can serve happy couples in the Upper-Mid Cape region and parts of Rhode Island. They boast decades of combined experience in the industry, and their floral talents have charmed countless clients. From romantic to rustic, classic to contemporary, they specialize in all manner of floral themes.
A & K Floral Designs offers a variety of services designed to ensure that you receive blooms that exceed your expectations. Consultations, delivery, and installation are just a few of the features of their wedding packages. You can choose from a broad array of arrangement types, including bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and flower crowns.
In 2014, we decided to take our years of experience with floral designing and strike out on our own helping people make beautiful wedding arrangements and bouquets. We love helping people and creating interesting arrangements to make weddings even more special. We have over 25 combined years of experience making floral arrangements. We are both married (of course we did each other's flowers). Kim has 2 wonderful kids and Amanda has a fur baby. We are pet and kid friendly and enjoy what life has to offer.

I started my floral career in 2004 working for a large company before deciding to venture out with my friend Amanda to start A&K Floral Designs. I love to make fun and interesting floral pieces, and help create beautiful weddings. In my spare time, I love to watch Friends, Grey's Anatomy, and Castle. I am married to my wonderful husband of 10 years, and have two great sons. I have recently taken up gardening and hope to enjoy some veggies in the future.

I only wanted bouquets and boutonnières for my wedding and they were more than happy to do that and give me different pricing pending what we wanted to include and not. Also their pricing was not crazy like other places i inquired with. On the wedding day they were very punctual and the flower arrangements were GORGEOUS! They were literally my dream arrangements and they even put golf tees in the boutonnières since our wedding was golf themed! All in all I couldn't be happier with their work and would recommend them to anyone!

erpieces, or if I would need flowers for the arch, they were very accommodating to additions as things came up along the way.
The day of they came to the ceremony site and set up the flowers on the arch and dropped off all of bouquets and extras. They also brought the rest of florals to our reception site, which was wonderful since it was one less thing for us to have to worry about. I didn’t see the flowers until the day of the wedding and it was the absolute best surprise. They were beautiful and everything I had hoped for. Every single one of the guests, and people who didn’t attend but saw photos after, were blown away by how stunning the florals were. Many of the guests at the end of the evening were trying to leave with a centerpiece, which the lucky ones did get to take home to enjoy!
The flowers they used were fresh, bright, and hearty. I ended up getting my bouquet preserved because I loved them so much. The florals I kept to enjoy at home lasted so long. I highly recommend going with A&K Floral Designs. You won’t be disappointed!
