A Beach Wedding Minister

ur wedding day went flawlessly. Rev. Skip will hold such a special place in our hearts forever now. He kept both the rehearsal and the ceremony running so smoothly. Rev. Skip calmed all of our nerves by keeping us laughing and walking us through each step of our beautiful day. Rev. Skip created the most beautiful ceremony for us and we loved every single second of it. All of our guests commented on how amazing our ceremony was. We are just so lucky to have had Wedding of Topsail work with us.

of experience, Pastor Skip not only relieved much of our stress, but also advised us in areas we were unfamiliar with. His professionalism, respect, knowledge, and overall services left us and our families very pleased. Some family members even said they would get married in the Wilmington area just to have him as their officiant! Elaine, behind the scenes, made communication pleasant, and worked with us while we were states away during the months leading up. They allowed us to craft our own unique ceremony, using a mix of their templates and our own words, which made our ceremony feel extremely personal. We could not be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Pastor Skip!!

for our wedding a few months later and we are so glad we did! He is so nice, has a great sense of humor and really makes you feel comfortable. After the ceremony, he even offered marital advice and left us his information to get a hold of him if we ever need him. We are so glad that he officiated our wedding!

d just lovely to work with. I had a phone call with Pastor Skip since I live out of town and I immediately felt comfortable and knew he had just what we were looking for! We booked him for our rehearsal and wedding ceremony right away. We didn't end up meeting Pastor Skip in-person until the rehearsal but he immediately made us feel at ease. I was feeling super overwhelmed at the rehearsal and he kept the mood light, had us laughing and kept us super calm. His instructions were super clear and erased all our worries for the day of. He is such a professional and clearly knows what he is doing. I can't even being to describe how beautiful the ceremony was. For just meeting us he had an amazing way of making us feel like he knew us forever. The ceremony was perfect and just what we wanted. The rose ceremony was a lovely added touch and something we'll carry with us in the years to come. I can't begin to tell you how many compliments we received that day about Pastor Skip. Everyone commented how beautiful the ceremony was and how meaningful his words were. I know we'll carry those words forever in our hearts but it will also stay with our friends and family as well. He also made the marriage license piece very simple. We told him who our witnesses were the night before and he quietly took them aside after the ceremony to sign the document. He also then takes it downtown back to the courthouse so you don't have to worry about it. I would 100% recommend Pastor Skip to officiate your ceremony. We'll definitely keep in touch with him over the years and reach out if we ever need anything. I can't speak highly enough of him! Thanks again!!

mily. They were both so supportive and were there for me when I needed anything. The ceremony was perfect and Pastor Skip knew exactly what to say. They also did the music and sound for my ceremony, and that was as smooth as could be as well. I couldn't have asked for a better officiant!

We asked for pictures of the wedding supplies we ordered and were given very little to chose from. the photos are of low quality and they only assured us not to worry they have done this for a long time. no attention was paid to detail and we were constantly having to correct details of the ceremony. Then we traveled to Topsail 4 weeks ahead of time to meet with all the vendors for the wedding. Skip and Elaine refused to meet with us and did not answer our emails the whole time we were there. Our pastor, Ron Lewis, was the only good thing that came out of the situation. A beach wedding minister is only a referral service and upcharges all of their supplies. The only job they had was to make sure the details of the ceremony were right. The sand ceremony was supposed to have a third color for our son and it did not. Pastor Ron did the best he could with what he had, but every time I(Groom) see the sand i think of the mistakes Elaine and skip made. The whole experience dealing with them was not pleasant. They acted as if they worked out of their home and the supplies and pastor Ron were all part of their corporation, when in fact everything they supplied including the Pastor were third parties. If they would have just told us this we could have went to a party supply store and saw the benches and arbor we ordered. Instead we had to look at grainy pictures and decide from there. They supplied us with a photographer for $500. We were told she was an amateur but we got better photos ourselves. Not worth the fee. Also, Elaine and Skip told us she was available for the wedding when in fact she was leaving for vacation so we had to rush the photos. We were never asked if she was to take photos of the cake or reception, but she was in such a hurry and left so there was no option. Pastor Ron was paid his fee out of what we gave Skip and Elaine and we were informed we could have got all of our supplies and photography cheaper had we sought him out instead of using them. I feel he did a better job of sorting the ceremony out and getting to know us and our needs anyway. Skip and Elaine were pushy at times about the bill but very unavailable when it came to meeting them and discussing our details. They were informed well in advance of our trip to their area and avoided our emails all week until we informed pastor Ron of the issue. Then they waited until the day of our departure to contact us. We are very disappointed with them and how they handled the situation and would not recommend them to anyone. It would be better to plan and do it all yourself. If you wanted to have a wedding in the Topsail Island NC area I would strongly recommend looking up Pastor Ron Lewis instead. He is cheaper and seems to actually care about his clients. If Skip and Elaine would have cared and paid more attention to detail we would not have cared about the price. We just did not receive the rate of service and response we expected, considering how much we paid for how little they did. After Every email and correction and concern, they kept saying don't worry we have years of experience and everything will be perfect. Well their experience didn't show, everything was NOT perfect, and all we feel is scammed.

s were on point, the arch was beautiful, and Skip was awesome. I would refer him to anyone that is thinking about getting married in North Carolina.

ll intimate ceremony. We were not really thrilled about the idea and definitely did not have that high of expectations. Pastor Skip and wife Elaine who coordinated everything for us prior to the wedding weekend truly exceeded our expectations. They were a pleasure to work with and honestly SO helpful for me who had to move and plan our wedding from the west coast. We as well as our guests are still talking about how awesome Skip was and how great the ceremony was. The experience with this company went above and beyond our expectations. We even found out after the ceremony that a couple that were guests at our wedding were also married by Skip. Highly recommend A Beach Wedding Minister if you are looking at the NC coast to get married!

xactly what we wanted. We also rented a beautiful arbor with drapes and they provided our sand ceremony. Everything looked beautiful.Highly recommend this company and Pastor Skip!

wanted our ceremony to not only reflect our personalitites but celebrate the love we have for each other. Skip and A Beach Wedding have beautiful ceremonies for you to use as a starting point and then allow you to play with the structure and content to truely reflect you! I wouldn't change a thing about our ceremony and that is all becuase of Skip and Elaine!

e a couple hours away and did not have any recommendations coming into my search. I read some good reviews about Pastor Skip, so I held my breath and booked him. When I met with Pastor Skip face to face, it was as if I'd known him for years. He was professional, friendly, and receptive to my ideas. I would say the same for Elaine. During the rehearsal and pre-wedding ceremony process, she was very organized and helped smooth out a complicated process (we had 20 bridesmaids and groomsmen total!) Even after the ceremony, Elaine went beyond her duties to ensure everything else went smoothly (including grabbing family members for photos). Lastly, I was very impressed with Pastor Skip's laid back demeanor and sense of humor. Of course, during the ceremony he was very professional, but it was nice to have the minister crack a few jokes during the rehearsal to put everyone at ease. I would recommend Pastor Skip and Elaine, hands down!

We were doing all the planning out of the area, so they also recommended other great vendors We had a small ceremony and did not get a chance to even have a rehearsal the day before, but from what their staff did, with helping us on the day of, you could not tell it. If you are looking to have Weddings of Topsail perform your wedding ceremony, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!

ad me fill out was perfect because there was a lot I had not thought of and she covered it all! We had Pastor Marshal Wise preside over our ceremony. He met up with us the day before since we were not able to get into town until the weekend of our wedding and talked us through everything. He was very calming and a good guy to work with. We ended up having a slight sound issue the day of the wedding but he took care of it promptly and everything turned out Great!!
