Since I was 11 and showed my sister how to apply lipstick, I have loved showing people how to look their most beautiful self. I have learned a lot since I was 11. One, that bright red isn't always the answer, and along with that lesson that sometimes less is more.
My goal is and will always be to make the bride or the graduate, or my new makeup student not just look their best but to love that look and to understand why this is the best look for them, and help them to know how to recreate that, or a version of that look in their everyday life.

MYSELF, which is what I wanted.
After a preliminary session, we decided on what type of look would be the most flattering for me and look good in pictures. Since my dress had a lot going on, I opted for a glowy, sophisticated look that wouldn’t be overwhelming. She even gave me a few tips on her favorite products I still use today when I know I will be photographed.
Prepping a nervous bride minutes before walking down the aisle is no easy feat, but Rhi was so cheerful and calm that she really helped put me at ease because I felt like I was in good hands.
If you have the opportunity, I definitely suggest you hire Rhi! I absolutely love looking back at my pictures. If I had to do it over again I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

ppreciated was that she does a "rehearsal" a few days before, to make sure that your make up is what you imagined and also to double check that you do not have an allergic reaction to the products that have been chosen. It was the fact that she took note of these minor details, that made me put my full trust in her and when the day came she did even better than the rehearsal. She also helped me learn how to apply the makeup in the best way by doing half my face and I did the other half. Then she worked with me while I did my whole face myself. And help me write down how to get a night look also. What I appreciate the most about Rhi is that she really listens to what you want and can adapt to your makeup style. mine suggested "A beautiful face by Rhi" and I am so glad they did. Rhi offers coaching classes on how to apply wedding day makeup. With just one 2 hour session during the week before, she came up with a wedding look plan and took the time to draw out and even wrote down the steps on how to achieve this look. She did one side while coaching me through the second side. Then we removed my makeup while she walked me through doing my own makeup on the day of. On the wedding day, I woke up calm, knowing exactly what to expect. She also offered suggestions on how I could achieve a similar look but more "every day" for the rehearsal dinner and for work look. I followed her notes and my pictures turned out so good! I also now get comoliments pretty often on my every day makeup. I am so glad I chose her!

like myself. That’s why I picked her. I interviewed 8 other makeup artists and she was the only one that didn’t insist on putting a mask of makeup on me. She went with a natural but contoured look, highlighting my eyes. My pictures are perfect and I’ll always be grateful to her also for her calming words and makeup application.
I also used her latter on to help give me makeup lessons. That was fantastic! I learned that I simply had the wrong kind of makeup and too much. She helped me see I needed just a few things for an everyday look and one extra thing to turn it into a night out look.
