A Beautiful Violin & Trillium Ensembles

Trillium/A Beautiful Violin did an amazing job at our wedding. From the elegance they brought to the masterful execution of our nerdy music choices everyone was so impressed. Not to mention Cheryl was so down to Earth and kind to work with. They offer a great and fair price. We would recommend them to anyone!

The music before, during and after the ceremony was amazing. Cheryl also worked with our own private singers for our ceremony songs--a wonderful addition.

We had Trillium do a Violin and Cello ensemble for our our ceremony music and they did an amazing job. Cheryl was in contact with me over the 2 years I was engaged, making sure she had all information needed for the ceremony, and meet with us to go over everything in advance. She was absolutely wonderful! Would highly recommend her.

First of all, we contacted something like ten musicians before choosing this band. We had a Thursday wedding. Right off the bat, 75% refused to take on a Thursday ceremony because of time constraints. Our musician worked with us through music selection to timing to... the list goes on and on. The musician's music list was extensive, allowing for a selection of our favorites, rather than having to settle for just classic pieces... not to say they didn't perform those too.

We got married in July and wanted a string quartet to play during the ceremony. We had talked with a few string quartets but when I talked to and met Cheryl I knew right away she'd be great to work with. She was so helpful and kind and handled all of my questions promptly. She even offered to help us out the day of the wedding if anything were to go wrong. She's just a wonderful person. The string quartet played beautifully and were very professional. It felt great to be surrounded by wonderful people on our wedding day.

Cheryl and company were awesome. Had a terrific library of music, were very low maintenance and played just beautifully!

We had the trio play for our ceremony, and they were perfect. The music was beautiful and the musicians were so skilled at making all transitions happen smoothly. Working with them was a delight- very reliable and very helpful (as well as very affordable!). We would recommend them to anyone looking to have live music for their ceremony.

Cheryl did a fantastic job playing solo violin before, during, and after our ceremony. The music was perfect, and it was fantastic that she was able to adjust the length of the verses based on how long it took each member of the wedding party to get down the aisle. She was very easy to work with and she did a fantastic job!

Cheryl Zylla, A Beautiful Violin & Trillium Ensemble are wonderful musicians. During the planning stages, Cheryl was great to work with. In email conversation, she was prompt, clear, and helpful. During our practice session, Cheryl and the Trillium Ensemble had prepared the pieces we requested so we could get a feel of each piece and could see what would be the best fit for our wedding. During the wedding day, Cheryl and the Trillium Ensemble were flexible. Our wedding location changed twice during the day (outside to inside due to rain, and then in cleared up – and we went back to outside). Cheryl and the Trillium Ensemble were where they needed to be, even with all of these changes. The music for the wedding was SUPURB!! They have such an elegant sound that brought a level of class and beauty to the wedding. Cheryl and Trillium Ensemble really customized the wedding to fit our needs; they even played an Irish Song (which is where my –now husband – is from). It was great to bring his heritage into the ceremony. Cheryl and the Trillium Ensemble EXCEEDED expectations. We feel so lucky that we selected them for our wedding. We recommend them with high marks!! We had a great ceremony with the help of Beautiful Violin & Trillium Ensembles. All the songs we requested were played beautifully. My favorite part was the music played during the celebration of unity-sand ceremony. Our guests also enjoyed the beautiful violin during the cocktail hour. Thanks for making our day a very special one.

We had an outdoor ceremony and new we wanted something better than an ipod and speakers. IF you listen to the music on their website you will fall in love immediately http://www.a-beautiful-violin.com/ We worked with Cheryl primarily through emails and planned everything she had an elbow injury and called the month before the big day to let us know that her docor said she had to cancel all of her august weddings but she did tell us that Ginna was picking up all of the weddings so there was no need to panic. It was all very beautiful she worked with my nephew to play the hawiian version of somewehre over the rainbow he on the ukeule and her on the violin as a special piece

Cheryl and company played contemporary and classic music during our wedding cereremony, and also before and after the ceremony - probably 2 hours in total. There were no problem what so ever....everything went well. Music was great and Cheryl took care of everything, including the planning of the order of the songs, the queing as part of the ceremony, etc. Everthing just flowed perfectly with very little prompting or input from me(us). Cheryl clearly is exerienced and was very easy to work with. Thanks for helping make it a great event!

Cheryl played solo violin for our ceremony. I thought it sounded nice, but I wish we could have afforded the duo or trio! Overall, she was flexible with the pieces and had good suggestions.

Cheryl Zylla is the violin behind "A Beautiful Violin." I hired her plus a cello to provide the ceremony music for my wedding at the Minnesota History Center. I had heard the same combo play at a friends wedding at their cabin in rural Minnesota earlier in the year. She travels the state, but is based in the Twin Cities. They did a wonderful job! They arrive and are playing music 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. You will get a total of 90 minutes of music in the basic package, with the option of adding time for additional cost. We selected the ceremony songs, which included classical selections and the Beatles "Here Comes the Sun" for our recessional. Cheryl is willing to learn any song you request. She was easy to work with, professional, and added a classy touch to our ceremony and transition down to dinner. I would recommend her unconditionally.
