A Better DJ and Photographer

professionalism or care for a clients ACTUAL experience versus what you want to market. They’re a TERRIBLE company. The dj that came out for my wedding was horrendous. We were incredibly unhappy with his attitude, performance and disregard for our requests. I spent months completing the wedding planning document & he chose to disregard most of what I had outlined in there. After giving my brother attitude about setting up for the ceremony, he screwed up the ceremony music… we had an entry song for my husband, which never got played. I don’t have a clue what he played for the processional, but it wasn’t what we selected. Then when i was supposed to enter, he didn’t play my song… our DOC and my husband had to run over and tell him the correct song to play before I walked the aisle. Confusing and frustrating for myself, my husband and our guests. When we went into the reception, he disregarded the list of songs I had selected for the dinner and was playing party music mixed with songs we’ve never heard. He disregarded any order (didn’t do the toasts after the 1st course & acknowledged that he had disregarded this with no explanation. instead he had to be ASKED to do them after we had dinner). Then after dinner he refused to play the songs we had outlined in the playlist… myself, my husband, my mom, my friends, his sister, we all went up to him at different times and asked him to PLEASE follow the specific songs listed on the playlist… and he looked at us and said okay, i understand… and proceeded to play whatever the hell he wanted. He had an attitude with each person who spoke to him just asking him to do his job adequately. My mom at one point was pleading with him to just play the specific songs because I wasn’t enjoying my wedding?! I was furious throughout the night that he refused to comply with our wishes and disregarded all of us explicitly and clearly letting him know what we needed. He didn’t choose to announce the bouquet or garter toss (which we didn’t do at all as a result, and only announced the cake cutting after our photographer requested it. He also came up to us requesting payment as our dinner was being served, rather than a more appropriate time which was incredibly unprofessional. As a DJ he manages the vibe and the schedule, and he did neither of these things effectively. Everyone at the wedding said that everything was amazing EXCEPT the dj… it was just a really terrible showing. I’m upset that we even paid for this service rather than doing our own music, which would’ve been more effective than what we ultimately got from your company. As a business I would be embarrassed over this whole performance.
