Steve is the greatest! His pictures are great quality which was my first priority and we couldn't be happier.
Steve was wonderful! He truly made our wedding day special! I cannot thank him enough.
Steve was absolutely incredible at my wedding. He stuck tightly to my schedule, took all the photos I wanted and provided a wealth of his own ideas. He also worked great making all my bridal party feel comfortable, and managed both the small children and my mother-in-law's health issues with a high degree of grace and professionalism I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.
Steve is amazing and worked with all of us really well. He would make us all laugh and smile. He also did our engagement photos which was a lot of fun. I would recommend him to everyone!
Our wedding pictures turned out beautiful and everyone commented on how Steve blended right in with the family and he was great with everyone. Very happy with everything!
My niece was a flower girl and going through a shy spell. Steve was able to engage her and get a smile every shot. He is great with kids and adults. Our engagement photos were creative and artistic. I love Steve's style and can't wait to see our albums!
Steve was GREAT to work with! From first shot throughout the evening he had an upbeat attitude that made everyone have a great time! Can't wait to see our finished product! :)
We used a Better Exposure as our wedding photographer. The pictures from our engagement session turned out fantastic and the couple from my wedding that I have seen so far are great. I was very pleased with the pictures. But trying to communicate everything by email with the photographer got to be frustrating. It took over 5 emails to get one proof picture to use for the paper and our invites. And several more to get across what I wanted in wedding pictures.
we talked on the phone w/ the guy who owns this company and looked at pictures and loved what we saw and heard. Set up an appointment for details and to meet w/ our photographer for the wedding. We expressed we wanted "in the moment" photos more than posed photos. We weren't concerned w/ family photos too much, just really wanted to capture the feelings and fun of the day mixed w/ standard shots, nothing too artsy and modern. We choose the cheapest package at $1500 including a free engagement photo session, 6 hrs of photography day of, studio credit and digital copies of wedding photos. First we got our engagement session done by the guy who owns the company, not our photographer. It took several weeks to get the photos back after calling to inquire about them. They were listed to order them at $20/ 4X6, $30 for a 5X7, etc...way more than we thought after seeing the a la carte photo price on the sheet at $8/ 4X6, $12/ 5X7, etc. The wedding day our photographer was there on time, but right away it was hard to communicate w/ him. We did not feel as though we were on the same page. We started w/ photos of dresses hanging, shoes, and al, that, followed by staring out the window and whatnot, then the posed photos w/ bridal party. I had to constantly ask for photos w/ my cousins, mom and flower girl. After the ceremony we went to a separate location for photos where we did the same groups posed shot and whole bridal party shots. It was very difficult to get fun shot added in and never really got in the moment photos taken. At the reception we told him no family shots since
e several members were missing. We told him 3 or 4 times throughout the night and he ended up going to the dj and calling family members back. We had lights hanging from the ceiling and he ended up knocking them down w/ his flash he had on a long stick. We have not seen any of the photos yet, as we have not received them yet. We are concerned about the prices and have already found out our digital copies will include his logo unless we pay a couple hundred dollars for them to not. We are sure we got great photos that we will love and others will love. We feel as though the original $1500 we paid should have gone further and that we were mislead. We had to work very hard to get some of the photos we really wanted and wish we did not have that stress during our day. We had a fantastic day and expect it to shine through and I guess it is really all we can hope for.
Steve was great to work with and made the day flow so well!
My husband and I were lucky to work with Steve Kowalski and A Better Exposure for both our engagement photos and out August 13th wedding. Both experiences were amazing. We had so much fun shooting engagement photos with Steve and the results were awesome. The wedding photos will forever remain in our home and remind us of the wonderful time we also had shooting them! Couldn't have been happier. Thank you, Steve!
Steve was fantastic! We had our wedding a little less than a month ago and we still get complements about how great he was! He is funny and puts everyone at ease. He also did our engagement pictures which turned out great!
Overall we were very pleased with our photos. We got some really amazing shots and it was very reasonible price-wise. The only thing that was upsetting to us was that our photographer was changed on us a week before our wedding. And at that point we just didn't have the energy to argue about it.
Steve Kowalski from A Better Exposure was the perfect wedding photographer. We expected a lot, since we'd heard great things about him, and he was even better than expected! We haven't gotten the final pictures back yet, but we can't wait to see them!!
I was fortunate enough to book the owner, Steve, as my photographer for my wedding. He was fantastic. I really appreciated the time he took to talk to us before taking any pictures to see if there were any shots that were really important to us (e.g. we met in debate, so we wanted a picture of our team) and to see if we had any hang-ups he could accomodate (I'm taller than my husband and I didn't want that to be obvious in the pictures). He was also great with the kids in our wedding party. He was also very knowledgable when in came to choosing picture sites and he knew how to get the best shots out of the unusually shaped church where we held the ceremony. My pictures were returned in a timely fashion in a beautiful album. Overall, a great experience. Every time I see someone else's wedding pictures, I think, "Those are nice, but I I really love mine..."
