She has the eye to see what looks good and how to alter the dress to make it look even better. In the past she also designed maternity clothes, which is a plus if you are expecting. Rene’s flexibility to work with me in alterations and scheduling was a huge bonus. When I put on my dress for my wedding it was flawless because of Rene’s attention to detail.

ess down to my 5'5" height since I wasn't wearing heels, the two bustles it took to keep 4ft of train up in place, and the dress was also a size up! Renee took on my dress like a pro, and was very conscious about cost since I had already previously took my dress to a different seamstress and had a bad experience. But she saved my dress! When alterations were complete, my wedding dress looked like it was made for me! It fit so perfectly thanks to her expertise and I am grateful for that... I will definitely recommend her place to anyone looking for alterations. My only complaint however is when I took my dress back to her shop for cleaning - it took almost 3 months to get it back. My friend and I both had our dresses cleaned at the same time and we were just kind of left in the dark about what was going on. I unfortunately had to send a nasty message because I was fed up with how long it was taking, and shortly after that we got our dresses back. Other than that whole fiasco - I had a wonderful experience.

I appreciated her honest aesthetic opinions on what works and what doesn't. To be honest, I didn't think that the dress I selected was my dream dress. I went with a mermaid style which I had never envisioned. What I knew was that I wanted to buy a dress from Renee because I trusted her to make whatever dress I chose mine. One of the helpful things she had done with my dress was to discreetly cut the sleeve and install velcro and clasps so I would be able to step into my wedding dress (it had a side zipper with a full sheer back). My dress was tailored in such a way that I felt I had the most beautiful body. Granted I had 3 alterations sessions, but it was worth it. You will be A Bride To Remember because Renee has a natural way of making you feel at home in your body and your dress.

I wanted a dress with sleeves that was all one piece and didn't look like they were added on. Renee assured me this could be done to the strapless I loved despite the intricate details on the bodice. What was most impressive was her understanding of design and her commitment to not only selling you the dress but working with you from start to finish, such as all of the alterations to make certain your dress is perfect for your day. We know we are in good hands and she has an amazing selection of dresses, veils, belts, bridesmaid dresses, and anything else you could ever think of!

man who works here really has a feel for your body type and what looks good on you. It was completely the opposite of what I thought I wanted. The third dress she pulled was amazing and absolutely perfect. I say again, I was NOT planning on buying a dress but it was the one and only the third dress I've ever tried on. Great service, amazing eye for details, and a reasonable price. They did not try to sell me on anything, no pressure involved.

when it came to alterations and fittings. I had less than a week between when the dress came in and my wedding day, but she was able to make it work beautifully. A boutique in the same area quoted considerably more for the exact same dress. Renee was upfront and honest about the pricing and told me I could decide not to buy the belt (which I didn't even like!) that came with the dress to lower the price even more. She also offers other discounts on veils and accessories if you purchase on the same day as your dress. My best friend came with me to one of the fittings and fell in love with Renee's attention to detail and the dress selection. She will return to get her dress here as well for her wedding next summer.

to know her as well as asking a lot of questions about the wedding, her fiancé & even 'how do you enter the room?' As in, just walk in & not be noticed, up to TA DA - the party can start now! She tried on about 8 - 10 dresses & we all liked one of them. It took 7 months to get there from the designer, and needed quite a bit of altering because my daughter had lost weight, but in spite of a wedding in her family & a medical emergency - it was ready when we needed it & she was beautiful!

sing, cleaning, and preservation it turned out to be about $2000, but it was worth every penny. We started out with a strapless gown that I loved but wanted straps for, so she ordered some appliqué off the dress to make the straps. When the appliqué arrived at her store, she didn't like it, so she took the initiative to order a different appliqué. She took that, and some tulle, and made the most stunning back and straps that took our breath away. Renee is extremely hard working, and has an incredible eye for design. She is also very knowledgeable about wedding dress issues, and fussy (in a good way!) about the way parts are sewn, how it falls, and how it moves. All wonderful things that a bride-to-be usually doesn't know. She is honest about pricing, and will do her best to give you what you need. I appreciated all the discounts she could give me, and I truly felt that she offered me everything very fairly. She will give you incredible personal attention, and flawless attention to detail, and explain everything to you one step at a time. I could not have asked for a more wonderful person to work on my dress or do business with. She made me a gown more beautiful than I could have ever imagined it to be, and helped me to have an absolutely dream wedding. I could not recommend anyone more highly for wedding dresses. Go to her. You will not regret it.

ella fantasy. I knew I got the dress at a good price but I had no idea how much work Renee would be willing to put into making sure it fit perfectly. She literally got on her hands and knees in order to pin the dress accurately for the necessary bustling. I cannot say enough positive things about her. She works extremely hard and she really cares about your special day. My dress would not have functioned nearly as well for me without her help. She was an absolute angel.

kier... I spotted a dress online that I HAD to try on, and no one I called had it in stock. A Bride to Remember didn't either, but suggested I look at a similar brand of dress, since she was placing an order for samples. I did, and found a dress that was even better! But I waited too long to call her back, and she had already placed her order. HOWEVER, she was great and said she could replace one of the samples she ordered and would charge me the dress lending fee, and it could go towards the dress if I decided to buy from her. She ended up eating a small bit of cost, but did manage to get the dress! I was so thankful. Then she placed the order, and I waited. After a few months, I realized I never really got a timeline. So I emailed (how we had previously communicated) and called, got no answer via phone (and her voice mail box was ALWAYS FULL.), and kept getting put off via email. I was so nervous. She finally asked me to text her to ask for the estimated arrival date. Yes, text. From then on, I realized the best way to get an answer was through text, which was a little annoying and felt somewhat unprofessional. Once the dress finally came in, it needed a few alterations, which ended up costing almost as much as the dress... But it wasn't terribly expensive. I had an issue with a part of the bodice that wasn't laying flat, and thought I had mentioned it several times, and it wasn't fixed a week before my wedding. She did, however, fix it and it was just fine on the wedding day. The bustle was fabulous and didn't fall out at all, and she came up with a great creative solution for my crinoline to keep it from being a huge dress. So the actual workmanship on my dress was fantastic, and it was beautiful on the day. TL;DR: Great work, wonderfully accommodating to get dresses in, but difficult/unprofessional communication. However, I am happy with how my dress turned out (even if I was stressing about it quite a bit for awhile!)

After going to multiple shops and trying on dresses-- I selected "A Bride to Remember" because of the following reasons: 1)ABILITY TO IMPLEMENT MY DREAM: The shop's owner was able to work directly with me to customize my dress to EXACTLY what I wanted-- I loved working with her to make my dress my dream dress- I didn't want a cookie cutter dress! Not every store has the ability to customize- Renee Denise has extensive tailoring and theater background so she just got my vision! She went above and beyond to deliver. 2)BEST PRICE: The exact dress I wanted was found in another store at about $400 more than at "A Bride To Remember" 3)BEST FOLLOW UP: I knew I could count on this shop to follow on everything whenever I called or emailed; this is SO important to me because many stores I visited and promised me to call me back with different info I requested, NEVER followed up. 4)GOOD SELECTION: Many times stores don't carry many dresses from a particular designer or if you see it in a catalogue or website and they don't carry it, you literally have to BUY IT first to get it shipped to the store then you have to TRY IT...that totally doesn't work for me. I really appreciated that this store had the EXACT model of dress I had seen in the magazine/website for San Patrick...

own fool-proof bustle that does not fall out. Her prices were in my budget and the quality of her dresses out-shined several high end shops that I had tried in Seattle. She made the whole experience fun and she has an eye for fashion. My mother made her promise to take care of me since she was out of town during most of the planning process and Renee was incredible. I highly recommend buying your dress from Renee. Happy wedding!

and was was very low in the front. The seamstress I talked to said that it would be impossible to make it more modest without completely moving the beading on the bustline. I was ready to settle for putting a panel in the dress to cover up my cleavage. Then two weeks before my wedding, my friend recommended that I use her seamstress at A Bride to Remember. She called for me and Renee got my in that same week. Not only did she fix my dress exactly the way I originally wanted it, she also took it in in the back to give me a more defined waste and butt region. She also used the sash I bought at David's Bridal to use as a panel to create a kinda of "padding" underneath the beaded straps on my dress so the beads wouldn't rub against my skin. By the time she was done, I was completely in love with my dress and couldn't wait to wear it. Additionally, she had my dress and my bridesmaids' dresses ironed (they looked fantastic) and I will be taking my dress back to her to have it cleaned and preserved. Renee's design background and expertise allow her to be creative and to identify what will work best for you and your body type. She was very reasonably priced, trustworthy, and willing to work with my schedule. I really appreciated the fact that she took me with only two weeks until my big day! If you are looking for someone who is creative, experienced, provides excellent customer service, and does high-quality work, I would highly recommend Renee at A Bride to Remember for alterations.

ertain dress in mind, it was $300 dollars more than the one I ended up picking out. Renee convinced me that I genuinely looked better in the cheaper dress! Even though my idea of a perfect dress was completely different, I was happy that she did not push me to buy a more expensive one that did not look as good on me. (The dress she helped me pick out was a perfect fit for me and did not need any alterations.) She was very helpful and had so many different styles for me to try on. She did the alteration for the bustle for free and sold me the slip for under the dress at a discounted price. I had a great experience here and felt that she knew exactly what she was doing. I got so many compliments on my dress at my wedding and even from people who only have seen pictures. I recommend her to everyone. Now I have been married a year and recently I took the dress to be cleaned at a dry cleaner. When I got the dress back the fine detail beading and appliques were coming off of the dress. I called Renee back a year later and she had me bring it in to the shop for her to look at. She helped me sew all the the appliques back onto the dress and get it looking good again. AND SHE DID THIS FOR FREE! She is so amazing and has such a great work ethic. I was very pleased and blessed to have worked with her because I had already paid $200 for the cleaning bill of the dress. She's wonderful...enough said. :)

I purchased a A-line that was off the rack and too big and she morphed it into an amazing custom fit sleek gown that fit me like a glove and was exactly what I wanted! The time she spends analyzing the dress on you pinning and fixing any tiny spot you would never notice but she catches is better then you'll get anywhere else. She really goes above and beyond to make sure the dress is perfect before she lets it leave the store. So if you want exceptional quality across the board and an easy stress free experience come here. She will make your dream dress into a reality.

planning to by anything at all. the store was by appointment and ms. rene was already there doing an alteration for somebody else. she welcomed us to the place and she had an excellence service for us. she showed us diffenet type of dresses and they were stunning. the first one I wore I fell in love with. we bought it the same day because she was so nice and helpful and we liked her service and also loved the dress. I would realy recommend her to the ladies that are getting married and would want to buy their wedding dresses. buy it from her. she is amazing. she was so nice and excited that we were just thinking about buying it. we were not even thinking about anything else. she loves her customers and she would help like she knows you for years. I love her and she is somebody that I will never forget in my entire life.
