Hi! My name is Amanda and I am the owner of Brushed Salon and A Brushed Event. I am located near the Lansing area and have been a licensed artist since 2010. I have a passion for bridal/event hair and makeup and enjoy traveling all over working with bridal parties. I have a cozy in-home salon where my brides enjoy coming to have their trials done. I would love to work closely with you to create your dream day!

ding, and did a phenomenal job with myself and 6 other girls. They had has running ahead of schedule, made sure we were comfortable with our looks, and helped out with little details throughout getting ready that morning. Thank you so much for making my wedding day perfect!

who had false lashes done had issues with them not being even or falling off not long after getting makeup done. I’m not necessarily sure it was the artist, it might have been just not great lash glue. Outside of that, the pricing and process for booking was great!

f my friend’s weddings. They were so great, I knew I had to book them for mine as well. Amanda worked with my early timeline and got a second person to help so we all weren’t getting hair and makeup done for 6 hours. Amanda was very accommodating and easy to work with, especially considering all of my bridal party got different hair and makeup. They were both super nice and my hair and makeup lasted all day (through humidity and rain). Also very fairly priced! So happy with how it turned out.

be ready (4:30) and how many girls we had (5) and she told me what time she needed to start (11:00). I thought I was a bit early but knew it would be just her doing everything so I didn't question it. Turns out she's very fast! We were done with almost 4 hours to spare. Of course that meant we couldn't do anything but sit and wait, especially me since I couldn't risk being seen by my groom. I still don't regret hiring her since she was friendly, professional, and did a great job - but make sure she starts at an appropriate time.
