Hi, there! I’m Ashley. I started writing prose poetry for strangers in 2016, doing most of my early work at farmer’s markets. I love mid century style (vibes, not values!) and I collect typewriters from this era. Weddings found me - in that I started getting asked to perform at them rather than seeking them out myself. I’m choosing to lean into that! Weddings are a bright spot in people’s’ lives, and I like to help them celebrate. What could be better than commemorating the events and people at a really great party? Something I do very well is listen. I’m ready to make your day fantastic!

Truly someone who values the story of the individual as much as the care she puts into her art form. Not only does she write well thought out pieces but they come from taking time to listen and hear the story of the one before her. Definitely incredible experience and would recommend.
