A CEREMONY of the HEART

Mary Jean was an absolute pleasure to work with! We reached out initially for premarital counseling, and enjoyed working with her so much that we asked her to be our officiant too. She did a wonderful job of customizing our ceremony as well as our premarital work. We felt very supported throughout the process, and we wouldn’t have wanted to go through it with anyone else!

Mary Jean Valente was a huge part of the best day of my husband's and my life! Our wedding day will forever be in my heart and we are very grateful to have had Mary Jean by our side on the day of and the days prior. Mary Jean took the time with loving patience and sincerity to truly get to know us. As we were not located in the same city, our 'meet and greets' were restricted to telephone calls. However, that did not hinder Mary Jean's ability to hear and understand who we are as individuals and what we wanted for our special day. Her warmth, spirit and positivity were strongly felt throughout the process's entirety. She was extremely professional and prompt with all means of correspondence, while also being very personable and fun! Mary Jean was proactive in setting meeting times that accommodated our schedule and was attentive to what we had to say, while also guiding the conversation to ensure we discussed everything that was necessary. Mary Jean has extensive knowledge on many ceremonial practices, faiths, vows from various cultures and approaches. With that being said, she is very open to what you may have in mind, while also being constructive with her input and can offer excellent resources and advice to make it all happen. We could not have had the magical day like we did without her support and guidance. We forever hold her in our heart.

Mary Jean was wonderful! We had many phone call check ins and every time she went through the ceremony and made sure we were happy with it or if we wanted to change or add anything. As we were wedding planning from out of state, her level of detail and personalization really put us at ease! Mary Jean knows a lot about the industry she even gave us tips on getting the marriage license and what to ask for to ensure we had everything we needed. Mary Jean is a very talented public speaker and it was such a lovely and personalized ceremony. Thank you Mary Jean for everything!

I can't properly describe how wonderful Mary Jean is or how much she contributed to our wedding. Not just the day of, but the entire process working alongside her in the planning stages was such a detailed, special, and deeply moving experience. Mary Jean made my husband and I feel like we were the only people in the world and the most special couple on Earth throughout the planning stages. She is so passionate about what she does, bringing such a warm and kind energy into the whole process. Our ceremony and wedding day would not have been nearly as monumental and enriched without her expertise, ideas, and genuine passion for what she does. All of my questions, fears, doubts, and worries were eased throughout the process as she helped me and my husband develop our ceremony together. We all laughed and cried together while creating the perfect ceremony. And on our wedding day, all our wedding guests mentioned to us how much they enjoyed her energy and the experience she cultivated. She brings forth a wealth of experience and ideas and has the exact personality and heart for her role. I can not recommend her enough. You will thank yourself in spades after working with Mary Jean for your big day.
