A Cinematic Wedding is a wedding videography business based out of New Haven, CT. Owned by Johnny Perez, this operation specializes in providing couples with beautiful films that truly capture the essence of each wedding. Together with his teammates, Johnny strives to do his utmost for all clients who book this service.
Johnny is passionate about chronicling as much of each milestone as he possibly can. He loves producing personal, heartwarming films that allow couples to cherish their big day for years and years. Since 2013, he has been involved in film production, and he has covered a lot of weddings in that time. In addition to being the owner and lead filmmaker, Johnny is also a drone pilot, and he can capture amazing aerial footage to include in his films. His experience, combined with the expertise of his colleagues, means that couples can relax and let professionals take care of safeguarding all the happy moments.
A Cinematic Wedding can cover a variety of events, including the rehearsal, the wedding itself, and the after-party. They are able to create videos of these wonderful occasions that are inspired by a number of styles, including artistic, modern, and dramatic. Couples are welcome to peruse a variety of packages, allowing them to choose whichever one best suits them. Their full-length and highlight videos would be ideal as immersive keepsakes for couples, while their social media sharing feature is also a convenient addition.

When we looked at options for a videographer, those that solely focused on Hindu Indian weddings were predominately all out of state and not our style.
When we came across A Cinematic Wedding, we were drawn to Johnny’s style and the beauty of his videos. Upon meeting Johnny, we knew that this was the team to go with! He was so personable and down to earth. He really listened to what we were looking for and captured all the important details of our Hindu wedding. We provided him with details and key people in our family who are closely part of the wedding ceremony and his attention to detail showed in the outcome of the videos.
We were so pleased with working with Johnny throughout leading up to and on the day of the wedding. After our wedding, working with him on the video editing process was so easy! He listened to our comments and made changes quickly and provided us with videos that we will cherish for years to come. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for someone who genuinely cares and puts in effort into their work.
Johnny with A Cinematic Wedding was easy to work with throughout the entire wedding process. His packages have something for everyone! We enjoyed working with them on our big day and cannot wait to see the final piece!

The A Cinematic Wedding team was so great to work with for our wedding this September! I first reached out to Johnny because I wanted a videographer that could provide a full length wedding film, and he was one of the only videographers I found in the area that offered that option at a reasonable price! He captured everything we wanted from our day, and paid special attention to me and my husband to make sure we were comfortable during the many hours of pictures and prep work throughout the day. I highly recommend A Cinematic Wedding for your wedding day!

Johnny and his team were great to work with for our wedding! They are very professional and strive to make things go right when something doesn’t go as planned (our filmmaker got a flat tire on the way to our wedding, but still made it in time for the first look and stayed later to make up the time).
Our filmmaker Eric worked very well with our photographer and DJ so everything went smoothly! We are impressed by the amount of content he captured and are so impressed with the finished videos! Such a memorable and timeless video that we will cherish forever!

Johnny did an incredible job capturing our day! He was always so pleasant and so easy to work with throughout the entire process (contracting, prep, day-of, and post), not to mention very professional. Johnny (and his second shooter) was a pleasure to work with! He makes you completely feel at ease in front of the camera. He even put on some upbeat music for us throughout shooting to help loosen us up a bit. The drone was an awesome touch. I can’t wait to get our video back and all the raw footage! I know it’s going to be beautiful.

We booked Johnny for our wedding and he was absolutely AMAZING! From the beginning of coordination to the day of, he made us laugh and feel comfortable every step of the way. Johnny went out of his way to capture shots and ensured that everything we needed was taken car of the day of. What could have been a very stressful day was full of laughter and authentic smiles. We are very excited to see what this artist does with the magic of the day he was able to help create!

A Cinematic Wedding does an amazing job with making wedding videos! We got a teaser film, highlight film, and whole ceremony film that are incredible. They made the films flawless and so smooth. They were fun to work with and had great communication along the way. Now we have amazing videos to remember our day!

I cannot say enough nice things about Johnny! He was an absolute pleasure to work with both before the wedding, and throughout the entire day. Not to mentioned he handled our COVID postponement with ease and grace. We used A Cinematic Wedding for our wedding in August. Johnny was very communicative the whole time and answered any questions that I had. I had a hard time finding a videographer in the beginning that did a full length video for a reasonable price until I found Johnny. I thought that the value for what I paid was amazing and the setup of the payment plan made it so easy to space out payments. He also doesn’t set a certain block of time and makes sure to get everything important, which I though was great. Johnny came early to get both of us getting ready and stayed late to get most of our reception. We just got our videos back and we’re so happy with them! Our full length video came to almost 40 minutes and it had all of the important parts of our day in it, including the full ceremony. If you’re looking for a great videographer I would highly recommend A Cinematic Wedding!!

We were so happy to work with Johnny on our wedding video. Johnny was great work with before, during and after our wedding! We completed an easy form to know the type of video we wanted and Johnny was the first vendor to arrive onsite. We’re amazed at the footage he got since he was there alone and we are happy with our 3 videos! We even asked for some editing to one of them and Johnny and his team turned it around quickly!

We were so lucky to have found Johnny and his team! My husband and I knew we wanted quality videos of our day, but after shopping around, we could not find anything affordable without sacrificing the quality. 5 stars, to infinity and beyond. As many others on here know, planning a wedding during these times is extremely difficult. From day one of contacting Johnny the process was effortless. The professionalism and enjoyment planning our big day with him was out of this world. Working with Satya and Alberto the day of our wedding was truly a blessing. They had this calming aura that just made the day so extra special. They captured every moment and then some of such a special day. Johnny & Johnny were our videographers for our Wedding and they were amazing to work with! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They were so professional, organized and fun! They really helped make our wedding day stress free. Our videos are absolutely perfect, we can’t stop watching them! It’s so nice to get to re-live that day, especially from different points of view. It’s so easy to miss certain parts of the day when everything is going so fast, but our videos capture everything. Choosing A Cinematic Wedding was the best decision we could have made. Johnny was a wonderful videographer for our wedding day! While we are still waiting to see our day on film, I'm confident he captured it perfectly and still want to comment on his professionalism, that he was on top of everything from start to finish and fun to work with on our wedding day. He showed us his shots from the the preview on his camera, managed to get drone footage (without getting us in trouble - yay!) and was a hype man of a videographer. The price for what you're getting is just an added bonus. Highly recommend! Thank you, Johnny! Can't wait to see our video!

Johnny and his team did such an amazing job!! I can't stop watching our films. Johnny was so flexible when it came to rescheduling due to the pandemic. I never had to question whether Johnny would get back to me or not, he was always very responsive. Eric was our main shooter on the day of and he did a great job! A++++!! Johnny was our videographer for our wedding and I, along with many of my guests, have nothing but excellent things to say about him! Everything from start to finish - from communication over the phone/email before the wedding, to the day of the wedding, to the actual video - was nothing short of perfect. Especially during COVID - we postponed our wedding a whole year and Johnny made everything extremely simple and changed our date for us without any hesitation. He traveled all the way from CT to NY for us and stayed the entire day from 10am until the end of the wedding 11pm with a smile on his face and a completely professional attitude. He was able to capture such special candid moments while just quietly filming in the background. Everyone in my wedding party and many guests were greatly impressed by him as well and had told me they would like to use him in the future! I simply cannot say enough great things about Johnny!! We at some point were on the fence about paying for a videographer due to cost - but I would tell anyone, it is 100% worth paying for a video especially through A Cinematic Wedding. Their prices are very fair, especially for the professionalism, friendliness and perfect video production. If you are considering a videographer for a wedding or any occasion, Johnny is the best out there!!!!!!

We hired Johnny two weeks before our wedding due to a previous vendor canceling last minute. A friend of mine had hired him for her upcoming wedding and suggested reaching out. Johnny from the beginning was responsive, quick and professional. The day of the wedding he was on time, respectful and overall a pleasure to be around. I received our videos Very quickly and i am blown away! They are exactly what we were hoping for and his work is impressive. I would have paid double :) thank you SO much Johnny for saving the day! We booked Johnny in early 2020 for our June 2020 wedding. Then, COVID happened. Johnny was responsive and communicative with all my questions and the inevitable postponements. Ultimately, we cancelled our large wedding because of covid and didn’t utilize Johnny’s service. I am still reviewing, however, because he was such a pleasure to work with and was so flexible, kind and responsive to us. I am very sad we didn’t get to have our big wedding and see a beautiful video but I am confident if we ever decide to reschedule, or host another large, video-worthy event, we will work with Johnny.

I cannot express how thrilled I am with our wedding videos from our October wedding. Johnny was a pleasure to work with on such busy day. His attention to detail and creativity put our wedding videos over the top. He captured an authentic representation of me and my husband, our family, and our friends with incredible candid shots.
In a down moment, Johnny directed us to create a “scene” by taking a couple of shots of us walking and talking through a lit pathway. The details he used to edit the “scene” into our videos have wowed everyone we’ve shared them with.
Johnny was responsive to any and all of our questions and quickly made the small edits we requested. Their wedding packages are super generous and affordable. The team at A Cinematic Wedding are incredibly talented. I highly recommend working with them!
A Cinematic Wedding also has live streaming capabilities all ready to go. We decided not to stream ours, but I trust that their team would be great if you're looking for that!

I am SOOO glad I convinced my now husband to get a videographer for our wedding! At first, he didn't want to spend any more money on additional vendors but I told him this will be so worth it - and it was! Johnny is so responsive and easy to talk to especially during the stressful times of covid wedding planning. We had Satya and Eric as our videographers and they were extremely professional! Juan and his team were amazing. We hired him for the Dream package that includes one film maker for the day. They arrived promptly, were dressed appropriately and were ready to go. His team was so smooth it didn't even feel like they were there. They were able to capture moments and scenery that we hadn't even thought to tell him about - we were elated when we reviewed the final video. He even surprised us last minute by bringing his trainee (so we got an extra videographer for free!). I would definitely use him again. His work is phenomenal and the price was right on par. We loved working with Johnny! We decided to add a videographer pretty late in the planning process only a few weeks before the wedding. Johnny was available and unphased by the timing unlike many other vendors. We had a few quick calls about our vision and Johnny knew what we wanted! We were thrilled we have the full ceremony and speeches captured. Johnny edited and changed the music to our liking after the video was created and we are so happy with the final result!
Highly recommend Johnny — he’s very nice, professional, does great work and is reasonably priced! We didn’t plan on getting video for our wedding, but I am so glad we did. I booked Johnny a few weeks before the wedding and could not have been happier. Johnny made sure to get key shots without disturbing our photographers. He took advantage of spare moments to get some fun shots. The videos he sent were perfect and more beautiful than we hoped for — I cry every time I watch the videos he sent reminding me of our beautiful day!

I had the pleasure of hiring Johnny as a photographer on multiple occasions, for my family, and myself. As well as a videographer for my wedding. He is great to work with. Easy, very reliable, responsive, accurate, creative, quick to make a suggestion for poses and shoot locations, makes you feel at ease and comfortable, and is always on time, and gear equipped for a shoot. His high quality images come to you very soon after a shoot. I do photography myself, and am pretty picky when it comes to choosing one to take photos of me, so I would definitely recommend him.
