A Dancing Penguin Music

Kim is talented in many ways, two of which he shared with us at my wedding reception. He played the piano during dinner, creating a relaxing yet engaging ambiance. Then he DJ'ed dancing after dinner. He played songs only from my "yes" list, but he did such a good job of reading the crowd and playing stuff that they enjoyed without playing songs that sounded too similar in a row. His DJing kept the guests dancing-- something I was worried wouldn't happen. I owe the success of the dance to Kim's ability to read the crowd and willingness to play all the stuff I love. :)

Kim Ralph with Dancing Penguin was such an nice man and was able to provide everything we wanted for our Wedding and Reception. All I had to do was email Kim with my choice of songs during the wedding and he did the rest! He is a great DJ that is very connected with his specialty. The music was exactly what we wanted. It couldn't have been any better. The cost was well worth it, and was very easy to put together.

He did a fantastic job with the ceremony and the music. He has an electric piano that sounds really good and he did the transitions well from the procession to the entrance of the bride. Music during the cocktail hour was perfect and my guests really enjoyed his piano music on a grand piano in the reception hall. He plays the piano very well and it sounds beautiful. The only part I was disappointed in was that we went from the cake cutting and just barely finishing chewing our cake we fed each other to the first dance. There was no time for guests to get cake and eat before we went to dancing. It made the dance floor sparse for the first dance as guests wanted to eat, not dance. Or if they did want to dance they might not get cake. That was unpleasant and the only part of my ENTIRE wedding day I would have changed. He plays great music but be warned he might go from cake straight to dancing with no warning. So make sure you talk to him first and you're very clear so you too don't get stuck dancing with cake still in your teeth too

I had called this company for a DJ for my event, which took quite along time to get back to me. The prices were a little steep and they had additional costs for everything

They were the life of the party. Made sure everything ran smooth, provided high quality and even went out to get music they didn't have just to make me happy.

We hired the Dancing Penguin for our ceremony and wedding celebration. They ensured the sound for the ceremony was perfect. Everyone was outside, so they knew just how to setup the sound system nicely. Then we hired the duo to play jazz during cocktail hour and dinner. It was great. They are both very talented. Lastly, Kim DJ'd the rest of the night and played great music, which had everyone dancing the entire time. We truly wanted a DJ, who would play music and do less of the mic approach. Kim quietly played amazing tunes all night and was very professional when making announcements such as the buffet being open. He was awesome and helped make our wedding day memorable! I highly recommend them.

A Dancing Penguin Music was a great choice for us. They had a wide selection of music and we could request specific songs that we wanted them to play during the reception. During cocktail hour they played the piano, which was really nice and perfect for the atmosphere. They really took control of keeping the reception going and kept things organized for us. They are also very affordable! I would definitely recommend this company for your DJ!
