Exceptional work!! You won't regret it!! Barbie is an absolute breath of fresh air to work with. Myself and my husband, immediately, after our zoom meeting felt soooo connected to her and she understood absolutely everything we envisioned! Going backwards a year and a few months we met Barbie through a zoom meeting. We were in the middle of a Pandemic and we lived in New York (native to Miami though) so it made it extra difficult for us to ever see each other in person. She was so accommodating & supportive with our odd schedules. When we met her finally in person it was as if I known her my whole life LOL! It's very rare to find someone who understood every detail you envisioned and even gave us her own own professional opinion on certain segments when planning. i'll be very honest she felt, like a sister, who took over planning our wedding but never forgetting to get our input on things. She was so on top of things, every detail I explained was seen in our wedding. it was honestly the most magical night we could have ever had. Our vision would have not been possible without Barbie. As a groom, I really did not want to have much input into our wedding. All of the usual planning headaches and juggling of pieces was something that I did not want to manage in addition to all the encompassing anxieties that come with a wedding. To be honest, I had my doubts about vendors/pricing/location etc., because of the South Florida area is notorious for over-charging and under-delivering. My wife had found Fancy Fiesta and invited me to come meet with Barbie for our consultation and go over our package and plan for our wedding day. Purpose of the consultation was to take a look at the table settings, floral, Church procedures, logistics, and most important to me ....food taste testing. As soon as we met with Barbie, all my fears and anxieties were stripped away that I had previously harbored. Barbie is a true professional and an expert at her craft. Her passion exudes in every fine detail and more importantly has impeccable communication skills to boot. From the second we met with her in-person she was attentive, actively listened, gave necessary constructive feedback, in addition to allowed us to explore options that were aligned within our budget freely and most importantly have fun and enjoy the process. I never met anyone who in a matter of seconds could understand my Wife's sense of style, taste, design specifications, and overall personality and knew exactly how to deliver it. Barbie knew exactly how my wife envisioned our special day to look and delivered everything that was promised, a true person of her word and character. We also had family (Groom side) traveling from out of state for our special day and wanted to importantly infuse the culinary scene South Florida is known for in our menu both for the dinner meal and the cocktail hour. Barbie was not only helpful with her guidance and expertise, but offered a way to have both a culinary tropical inspired menu and help compliment a colorful Miami theme my wife had envisioned. The food was just impeccable. Everything was presented in a delicate and eye popping tropical flair and seasoned/balanced to perfection. We even had a guest go to another wedding the following weekend and provide the compliment that the other event's food paled in comparison to what was so perfectly provided by the Fancy Fiesta team. Bravo and compliments to the entire Fancy Fiesta Culinary team you guys knocked it out of the park. Every single staff member day of was not only helpful, but courteous and wildly professional. Barbie also had set firm boundaries when individuals (photographers and such) wanted to spend more time and knew when we needed a break to grab a bite, have a drink, and just breathe. I did not have to think once the entire wedding day and just made sure my Bride was happy and comfortable while Barbie had the entire venue and party under her control like a seasoned Conductor over a finely tuned Orchestra. It was perfect, and the ability to focus and stay in the moment and enjoy is something I can never put a price tag on. Barbie and her amazing team at Fancy Fiesta gave us the wedding we both had imagined and delivered beyond what we thought was possible. To state this young lady goes above and beyond is a true understatement. We can attest that if you decide to go with and book Fancy Fiesta to cater your event, you will have zero worries and can confidently trust in Barbie and her Team. We could not recommend A Fancy Fiesta and Barbie enough! We booked with them back in 2019 and after three different dates we were finally able to have our dream wedding last weekend. The food was absolutely incredible and our guests loved the lamb chops and tomato/grilled cheese that was served at cocktail hour. Barbie is a dream to work with as well. Along with being super sweet she is extremely detail oriented (who knew how many decisions went into weddings?!?!), organized, has amazing contacts with other vendors (florals, delicious cake, and the CONFETTI CANON) and knows how to bring your wedding vision to life. Even when we had some last minute reception requests she put all of her effort into ensuring we got what we wanted for that day. I couldn't imagine the stress that goes into being a wedding planner but she made it look easy and I was happy to have someone to trust throughout this whole process that I knew would pull it off without a hitch. Numerous guests told us the next day that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to and we couldn't have done it without Barbie pulling it all together. Where do we even begin with Barbie and “A Fancy Fiesta” catering service?!...One word to describe our experience is “EXCELLENT” from Barbie following up and giving us more advice than expected to the actual entrees, cocktail food and service everything exceeded our expectations. Fancy fiesta is the absolute best in the business. Their food is unlike any other I have tasted at previous weddings I’ve attended. My guests could not stop raving about the cocktail hour hor d'oeuvres and the dinner. Barbie was phenomenal throughout the entire wedding planning process! She was SO attentive and quick to respond to any question I had (I've come to learn that is a rarity in the wedding industry). When writing this review, it is hard not to get emotional. I proposed to my wife in May at the beginning of the pandemic. We first spoke to Barbie a month later. The first available date in 2021 was in April where Comber Hall and our church were available. Barbie gave us some initial ideas and we assembled a rough contract. In December, we tasted the food and cake, decided on tables, chairs, silverware, linens, and flowers. Barbie was wonderful in providing us all the different options and giving us her recommendations. As you can imagine with the initial distribution of vaccines starting in December, January through March was extremely hectic with respect to our guest count. Barbie, as always, was extremely patient with us and worked with us on all the changes. In the few weeks leading up to the wedding, Barbie took over coordination with our outside vendors. Before the ceremony began, Barbie was in the church helping the groomsmen and fathers with their boutonnieres. She worked with the photographer and videographer on getting all the pictures I wanted before the ceremony. My wife got ready at the Biltmore Hotel down the street. When the ceremony was over, Barbie’s focus was completely on us, making sure we got all the photos we wanted. We had our cocktail hour on the first floor of Comber Hall. During cocktail hour and after all our pictures in the church and outside were complete, Barbie took us to the second floor where the reception would take place so we could see it. We were greeted with a welcome drink (mojito) and hors d’oeuvres. Here are our comments with the various components of the reception. 1) Music. The DJ (UBIS Music & Lighting) was fantastic. Our reception started around 4:30 and ended at 10:30. The dancing began at around 6:15. People danced the whole night. We provided the DJ with a few must play songs and let him run with the rest of it. 2) Percussionist – La Hora Loca. THIS IS A MUST. This was the best 30 minutes of the reception. I completely recommend it. Everyone was having so much fun with the party light sticks. The percussionist had me and my wife playing the drums. My dad was even shaking a morocco. 3) The food. This is A Fancy Fiesta’s staple. The hors d’oeuvres were incredible. For dinner, we had churrasco steak or chicken with a mango salsa. We even had a mushroom tower vegetarian option. We also had chicken fingers for kids. 4) Tables and Flowers. Barbie knew just how to make my wife’s image—of how she wanted everything to look—come to life. Everyone has their own preference, but I was in awe of how beautiful the flowers and tables looked. 5) Market Lights. Because our guest count was a little lower than what we expected, we added the Market Lights. If you’re interested, ask Barbie to show you a picture of how it looked. IT WAS GORGEOUS. 6) Cake. Barbie uses Edda’s for the cake. We did a semi-naked vanilla rum cake. It was gorgeous. Once again, our guests said the cake was absolutely delicious. Not very many days in life are perfect. It was perfect for me because I married my best friend. Barbie was an integral part of making sure our wedding reception matched my feelings. I cannot thank her and A Fancy Fiesta enough.

“I wouldn’t have changed a thing” was the sentiment from the bride, the groom and the guests at my daughter’s wedding this past month. Barbie and the entire team at A Fancy Fiesta totally captured the vibe we were looking for, blending the cultures of a Hispanic bride and an American groom. The food, the music, the decorations of the beautiful Comber Hall was everything we were looking for. Barbie even surprised us at our home two hours before the ceremony delivering the bouquets herself. During the reception, she was readily available whenever we needed anything and many of the guests noticed her calm, reassuring presence throughout the night. We highly recommend A Fancy Fiesta.

There are not enough words to describe how blown away we are with A Fancy Fiesta and Barbie. It was truly the best decision we ever made. She worked with us through all the changes up to seating changes 2 hours before the wedding. Truly speechless. I could not imagine a more magical wedding without her. It was perfect. The food, flowers, DJ, everything was amazing. Guests actually called us and contacted us for days to let us know how amazing everything was and how incredible the service and Barbie was. Words cannot describe what an amazing wedding planning/wedding reception we had thanks to Barbie Salazar and a fancy fiesta! Barbie was the definition of what every bride and groom need to feel calm, confident, and excited about their wedding. The food at our reception was hands down the best food I have had at a large scale event. The open bar and service was nothing but the highest of quality (from the bride and groom signature drinks to the drinks for our guests.) Our wedding celebration was magical, thanks to Fancy Fiesta!! We are infinitely grateful to Lucy, our catering event manager, for everything she did to make our wedding day the most special day of our lives! She was kind, motivated, passionate, and patient throughout the whole planning process. On the day of, Lucy and her whole team went above and beyond to pay attention to every detail and to take care of our family members and guests. From the start, Lucy told us that she would make sure my husband and I enjoyed our celebration to the fullest and savored in the moment as much as possible. She followed through in every way, and even made sure to bring my husband and I several plates of our cocktail hour appetizers (which brides and grooms notoriously miss out on at their weddings!). One of the most unforgettable moments of our wedding day was the room reveal where we felt like we were walking through a dream. It was surreal to see the wedding reception hall that we imagined come alive before our very eyes. Witnessing the way the whole team turned our vision into reality left us speechless! Furthermore, Fancy Fiesta provided top of the line gourmet catering that exceeded all of our expectations. Not only was the presentation of the food breathtaking, but it was also absolutely delectable! I would highly recommend A Fancy Fiesta to anyone who is planning an event that requires multiple contractors. They have contracts with contractors to help you set up various event details such as DJ, lighting, florals, etc. They have their own kitchen, and cooks. During our wedding planning abroad, they very EXTREMELY flexible and very accommodating to any last minute changes at all times.

Amy Martin and her team did an amazing job to coordinate our dream wedding. They coordinated everything in terms of catering including a delicious menu that was loved by all of our guests. They coordinated decorations, lighting, florals, the photo booth, and the DJ, making our lives much easier while planning out in California. Amy was willing to stay up at 11 PM EST to consult with us over the phone because we just got off work and we appreciate her flexibility. We are also very indecisive, so we appreciate her guidance in making sound decisions. The day of our wedding our easel was not delivered to the venue, and Amy was able to provide one at no extra cost without anyone noticing. It came together so perfectly and we highly recommend the catering team!

Where do I even begin with Amy Martin and the ladies of A Fancy Fiesta? I was referred to them by a friend of mine who had hired them for her wedding and I am forever grateful that she introduced me to these wedding angels. Amy and I met approximately one year before my wedding at Comber Hall. We had about three meetings before I decided to book and she patiently, professionally, and kindly answered all of my questions. And I had a ton of questions! Wedding planning can be a maze. It’s very confusing & nerve wracking, especially if you have never planned a wedding before. For that reason, I think that it is invaluable to connect with someone who can help steer you during the process. She guided me through the entire year leading up to one of the most important days of my life. I called Amy my wedding angel because she did all of that and more. She was an absolute joy to work with. Not only did Amy help me put together a delicious menu but she also contracted out many of my vendor including linens, flowers, DJ, lighting, cake, photo booth, transportation, and wedding day of coordinator. Quality food and alcohol was something that was very important to me and they delivered an exceptional meal & bar. Everything exceeded my expectations. They are a luxury caterer at a modest price point! I think I would have spent way more money if I sought out those vendors on my own. I can’t say enough good things about this company. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything that you did to make our dream day a reality.

Recently attended my cousins wedding which was catered by A Fancy Fiesta at Comber Hall and the food was out of this world. My wedding day still feels like a dream, but every time I realize it's a reality I feel my heart will explode! From the moment that I met Amy I knew she would become my wedding Fairy Godmother, the only person who would get my vision and see it through and I could not have been more right. Her patience, understanding and her attention to detail make Amy the perfect person for the job. She kept me sane through the entire process and made my day an actual dream come true! Being a destination wedding, she paid extra attention in making sure all my country's traditions were being honored. She helped me stick to my budget, kept in touch through emails and conference calls through the whole process and even planned out my days for when I was in town to meet with vendors. Her whole team went above and beyond our expectations and poured so much love and dedication into our lives. Amy is truly everything a wedding planner should be. Amy is absolutely incredible and truly a pleasure to work with. She must’ve spent close to two hours on our first phone call answering all my questions and helping me figure out exactly how to make my budget fit my dream venue. She was so patient and always cheerful as she put together wedding packages and sent multiple beautiful samples of florals and foods that I could afford at my price point. I can’t imagine how hard she must have worked just to give me an idea of how my wedding could fit my venue. She answers emails and calls right away and proved to be extremely reliable. I was unable to do my wedding at my dream venue due to a larger wedding size, but of everyone I’ve worked with, I was still most impressed with A Fancy Fiesta. I will definitely be using them for future events and will be telling all my friends about them!

She and her husband are so passionate on their food that it was so hard for us to decide on our menu, they had so many ideas to offer and it all sounded delicious. Towards our day we met with Amy who helped us finalize our selection at the tasting. My husband and I finished both our plates - we couldn't help ourselves. From that tasting we knew everything would turn out great and our guests would love it as well. They were also very accommodating for our vegetarian and vegan guests. On our wedding day, their team made sure we were always well fed, following us around with food making sure we tried everything, starting from the cocktail hour all the way until dessert was served. Amy Martin and the entire staff at a Fancy Fiesta where nothing shy of phenomenal from the beginning of our catering selection process to the very end of our wedding. Amy was very attentive and many times went above and beyond for my husband and I. She made the wedding planning absolutely delightful and enjoyable. Each and every guest that I spoke with agreed the quality, taste and presentation of the food was truly outstanding and there was not a single complaint. My entire wedding flowed beautifully from beginning to end and everything occurred on time. The catering staff was absolutely delightful and polite to each of my guests, the chefs prepared high quality and great tasting food for my wedding of 100 people to perfection and Amy was there every step of the way ensuring everything was transpiring as it should. There is a reason A Fancy Fiesta has the wonderful reputation that it does and I couldn't have chosen a better catering company. My husband and I had a personal server for the evening who was very kind and accommodating especially when I started to feel sick as the night progressed and made food changes for me last minute as well as checked on me throughout the rest of the evening to ensure I had everything I needed. AMAZING is the only word to describe Marggie and the entire team at Fancy Fiesta in helping make our wedding memorable. Marggie was extremely easy to work with and her ideas for the food being served were incredible. For appetizers we had a wide range of delicious choices, from caprese skewers, to chicken biscuits, sushi, grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters, and latkes! For dinner we had a pasta station, a carving station and a GIANT seafood paella station. Everything was delicious and the staff was incredibly professional. We would HIGHLY recommend this team for any event!

Marggie and her staff at A Fancy Fiesta Production are simply the BEST there is in Catering, Event coordination and overall piece of mind for the Bride and Groom. Thanks to them we were able to enjoy our wedding ( and all the planning that led up to it) completely stress free. They had it all under control! Marggie's attitude and smile is infectious and leaves you with a sense of clam from the first appointment. She made sure that we were taken take of and that we enjoyed our night. There were two other coordinators who were amazing as well. The entire staff is wonderful. The food was INCREDIBLE! Our guests are still raving about it 2 weeks later. The main course looked and tasted out of a food magazine. The arepas during cocktail and our late night Fritas, got more attention than the BRIDE!! Many guests also commented on the wait staff and bar tenders. They mentioned that they were polite , quick and went out of their way to be attentive. We had the inclusive package that included , cake, linens, flowers, Rolls Royce, Dj, equipment rentals and the must of day of coordination services). There is no better deal than this! ( I priced it all individually and it does not come close to the high end services you are getting with this package). A Fancy Fiesta's aligns its self with the best vendors in the business .. and coordinates it all for you!!!! I can't talk enough about this company. Our day and night was magical. It was out of a dream and we have A Fancy Fiesta Production to thank!

Marggie and her Husband provided the most delicious food for our wedding. At most weddings the food is either not good or just okay and everyone at our wedding said the food was great!. Marggie was so easy to work with and had such great and creative ideas for the menu selections. Actually, Marggie was more than just my cater she was also a sounding board for ideas and a shoulder to vent on when things went a little left. Marggie has a true passion for food and catering and it shows in their work. The price for my wedding package was very reasonable and also included the linen, chairs and cake. Wow! Wow! Wow! If you are looking for a event production company/ caterer for your wedding, look no further! My husband I got married this past weekend and hired A Fancy Fiesta to do our catering, flowers, linen and DJ. All the vendors that they brought into work with us were AWESOME!!! We were blown away with the gorgeousness of the room when we walked in for our reveal. The flowers by Nevot were absolutely beautiful, the DJ had everyone dancing the entire night, the linens from AB Cover Designers looked great, our amber uplighting looked so romantic, the food was DELICIOUS....everything was perfect and we had zero stress thanks to Maureen, Marggie, Bibi and everyone else from A Fancy Fiesta. My husband, our parents and I were all so happy with how everything turned out! Our experience with A Fancy Fiesta was top-notch! We decided to use them for our wedding catering after receiving very prompt and professional responses to our emails plus the TASTING was DELICIOUs! Fancy Fiesta was AWESOME! Their food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The waiters that took care of our event were very attentive and had a great disposition. Highly recommend them.

A Fancy Fiesta was great! After the wedding all we heard from guests was how wonderful the food was. The price was extremely reasonable and all the staff were super friendly and professional. We wanted unique food for our wedding and A Fancy Fiesta did a great job giving us what we wanted. The food was so delicious our guests are still talking about it!! We had given them a 5 star rating for everything from the moment we made our first call to the last minute of the reception. This team is out of this world. Amy and Marggie are the perfect duo. The food was everything and more that was promised. The Planners they referred us to were out of this world. There has yet to be one person that I have spoken with since the wedding that has had anything but compliments and raves about every aspect of the food and event. Kuddos to The chef and his family on their professional, yet down to earth personal way they handled every minute of our wedding reception. We explored so many options for our wedding reception, and then we found this awesome company which made us feel like family. This catering company is amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, I almost couldn't narrow down our options for the wedding day. I wanted everything I had originally tasted. Plus, the optional services they assist with (flowers, linens, rentals, music, lighting and even transportation) just amazing. I strongly recommend this team over others. They are so easy to work with and the food will knock your socks off! Thank you for everything.
