Where do I begin? Rachael is an outstanding wedding planner to work with! Prior to wedding planning, I never thought I needed one. In actuality, she turned out to be very instrumental in our wedding planning process and on the wedding day. Rachael is very informative, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. She knows when to support and when to take charge, especially when it comes to dealing with parents. When told your vision and what you're looking for, Rachael is able to come up with impressive ideas and has a wealth of knowledge, along with great vendor contacts. Our wedding day would not have turned out to be as successful as it was if it wasn't for her. She and her team are very nice and supportive and was always making sure we were taken care of/fed on our wedding day. We would highly recommend hiring Rachael and her team. Rachael was an outstanding coordinator for our wedding this May. She really listened and got to know us as a couple and what we cared about for our wedding day. This ensured that we spent money on things that mattered to us and didn't waste money on things that weren't as important. Rachael has a ton of contacts in the wedding industry and was able to help get us connected with hair and makeup people on short notice and also provided recommendations for a florist and limo/bus services. She was incredibly on top of everything leading up to the event and we went into the wedding day without any concerns because the timeline was mapped out so effectively. Rachael was also very hands on throughout the day and when a few minor things happened on the venue's side she was right there and helped sort them out quickly, which was hugely appreciated. We had some out of the box ideas for dance floor costumes and props and Rachael was very supportive and helped make our vision come to life. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married!

Hiring Rachael and A Fine Fete as our month-of-coordinator was by far the best decision we made! After our first consultation phone call, our stress melted away. Her attention to detail, experience, and ability to take control of a crowd were exactly what we needed. She made herself available for phone calls and in person meetings to go over the timeline, logistics and all the little details that we didn't even know about. Given the amount of time you spend planning a wedding, it's worth it to work with someone you genuinely enjoy. My mom literally flew out for our tasting because she had so much fun with Rachael during my sister's. She makes the experience less stressful and lets you rest assured that everything is handled. When we rescheduled our wedding due to COVID-19, Rachael dropped off a fully designed absolutely delicious wedding cake to our HOME on our would-be wedding date. The cake design mirrored my wedding dress. It truly brought me to tears. Speaking as a couple who were hesitant to use a wedding planner initially, we now cannot imagine how our wedding would have turned out without Rachael. Book her before everyone in DC finds out and she's busy on your date!!

Rachael was an unbelievable asset when it came to pulling off the wedding of our dreams. We had delayed our wedding multiple times due to COVID & the restrictions in place. She was so professional with her planning and preparation, and kept us on a timeline….by gently reminding about upcoming deadlines or nudging us along when we needed it. Onn the day of, she always kept a cool head, and took all of the stress off of my shoulders. She was so incredibly easy to work with. Highly recommended!

Rachael is undoubtedly the BEST wedding planner in DC! Words cannot express how amazing she is. From the start, she hit the ground running for us and did not stop until the smallest detail was perfect. Our wedding was postponed twice due to Covid but Rachael handled it with so much grace and ease. Her planning, preparation and attention to detail was top notch. She is also so fun and easy to work with. She is calm, classy, encouraging, kind and most of all professional. She is always available and responds back to emails/texts within a day or two. Her work is outstanding and she’s always going above and beyond to making our wedding dreams come true. It was truly a memorable weekend for all of us. We can’t thank her enough!

Rachael was amazing to work with! We planned a small DIY wedding in central park and realized about 3 weeks before the wedding that we need help! Rachael swooped in last minute and helped us plug all the holes and also made the day of seamless and stress free. She’s such a wonderful person and you can fret not knowing she’s got everything under control!

Rachael was amazing at helping to plan my wedding. Planning a wedding is hard, but planning a wedding during COVID and across the country is even harder. Rachael made it so easy. I was able to show her inspiration pics and she was able to put together more a wedding that was better than I could have imagined. She made everything easy and pays attention to every single detail. She takes time to get to know you so that all important things are included (e.g. she included our dog in multiple places). She has expert knowledge of the industry and can find what will work for you in your budget.

I hired Rachael last August to plan a “regular” wedding in May. COVID pushed us to September with several twists and turns along the way. Rachael was amazing through all of it. I was pushing to elope at one point and Rachael kept telling me we’d have a great event regardless of the circumstances. It was so much better than I could’ve imagined — a perfect evening for us and our families. Rachael kept everything running perfectly and I never had to worry about the details. After midnight I came back into the restaurant to use the restroom and Rachael was downstairs alone. I asked what she was doing and she said, “I always stay until the end.” I was just blown away. Thank you both for a wonderful day and for bearing with me — not a difficult bride per se, but definitely a difficult person — through it all.

Rachael was amazing and super supportive for our wedding.
