After looking at her website and reading many other great reviews, we knew we had found our florist. When decided to hire A Floral Affair, we met with Kelly to discuss our ideas and budget. We started by talking about our budget, as well as our theme and colors. Kelly took careful notes, and told us about the vision she had for our flowers based on our conversation. After loving what we were hearing, we asked if our combined vision would fit our budget for flowers. Her response was that she would work with our budget, essentially working with whatever we were able to allocate to this part of our wedding. It was so refreshing work with someone who was able to work with what we had to make our vision come to life. The rest of our planning with A Floral Affair continued this way. Every step of the way filled with flexibility and expertise--even when I changed my mind or wanted to add something new last minute. She has years of experience in the wedding industry, and was able to answer many questions I had about topics not even always related to flowers. Our big day arrived, and everything was absolutely beautiful! I got ready separate from my ceremony location, and my ceremony location was separate from my rehearsal venue. Despite this complication, especially in the Los Gatos area with summer beach traffic, Kelly and her amazing team made it all happen. Flowers were delivered to each location timely and beautifully. Every bouquet and arrangement more beautiful than I ever imagined! You can truly see Kelly's passion and expertise in her work. A lot of Tahoe florists turned me down because it was too "small" of a job for them, but Kelly Jo was more than willing to help! She was very helpful in creating my dream bouquet into a reality and helped me choose the size and height of the bouquet based on my height and dress. Kelly Jo also was kind enough to decorate my cake so it would tie into my bouquet. She made my day magical! Would highly recommend!!!
