If you want a photographer who has no morals and steals from people. then by all means, go with Sean. If not, look elsewhere. Trust me, you and your S.O. deserve better on the most...
important day of your life.
Wedding 12/2013. Sean & Allison (his girlfriend) were the photographers. I don't believe they're together anymore, but I think he has a new girlfriend to take photos with him.
He...
was professional enough when I initially met him at a coffee shop. I really liked his stuff. I wanted someone who took great photos. He did so I give him credit for that.
However, the pros end there.
Cons:
1. At our engagement session, he took pics of his gf instead of us. While we waited. Without being asked. When we got home, I saw they posted their pics of each other from our engagement session. We didn't receive our pictures for a few weeks. And that was with me asking several times when we'd get those without response from him.
2. He doesn't communicate. I expect a certain amount of professionalism. I would email him and not get anything for weeks. Email again, nothing. However, if I wrote on his facebook page which his clients see, he might finally email me. Occasionally I got an apology of "Oh I moved yesterday" as if that makes up for a month of no communication. When you promised my pictures a month ago and haven't replied with what the delay is, that's not an excuse.
3. At the wedding itself, he took 13 photos TOTAL of our guests. The rest were just the two of us. Thanks for the pics of us, but there were 2 photographers and neither could get pics of the guests and décor? I have 1 décor pic. I counted.
4. Our wedding albums took over 8 months. I was supposed to receive in 6. After 6 months with no word from him, I left a facebook comment. He blocked me from his wedding page. I understand you don't want other clients see negative feedback, but just do your job and you won't have any. It took me asking for a refund to get him to work on it. When he finally ordered them, he didn't send me a final proof.
He's talented, but he needs an assistant to make sure he's responding to emails and doing the non-picture taking parts as well. I would definitely NOT recommend him.
Sean is so great to work with and he produces amazing results! I love his artistic perspective and style--we truly have some beautiful pictures. He had so many great ideas and wa...
s able to work with any location or setup we gave him. Highly recommended!
I would highly recommend
Ryan and I had a church ceremony for our family and very close family friends and then we had a lakeside ceremony and celebration at LBJ for all our friends. Sean and Allison came ...
to both and shot tons of amazing pictures. Not only are they fantastic photographers but they are genuine and fun people! We had a great time posing for pics but also partying with the two! I've already recommended them to a friend who recently got engaged! I hope she uses them because she definitely wouldn't be disappointed!! They are truly gifted photographers!
Sean and Allison did an incredible job considering that our previous photographer ended up backing out of the wedding due to an injury and Sean agreed to shoot the wedding two week...
s before the big day. I honestly believe this was a total blessing in disguise. They were professional, great with communication, and the pictures turned out beautiful! I could not be more happier!
We chose A Guy & A Girl Weddings as our photographers because we liked the style of photos that they took. We had them take engagement photos in addition to capturing our wedding d...
ay, and it was definitely money well spent. They took great pictures and lots of them, and they are not cheesy or posed like some wedding photos can be. After looking at the photos, my wife and I often thought "how did they do that?" Sean and Allison are both young photographers, but they definitely know what they are doing and produce some great photos!
I think that of all of the decisions and investments for our wedding, this was one of best. Sean and Allison were easy-going, calm, respectful, always early, and their work was inc...
redible. Aside from the reception, this was our biggest investment and WORTH EVERY PENNY. I tried to take every single shortcut possible while trying to make everyone involved happy and initially didn't think the photos would be worth it. They proved me wrong. Obviously, we know this is a very stressful day for a lot of brides--they made things easy and quick. I felt so awkward having my picture taken (and was busy thinking about everything else that had to be done), but they took all the thinking out of it for me and just told both of us what to do. I'm shocked by how comfortable and at ease I looked!
On top of it, my mom, who is so difficult to please, LOVED the photos. LOVED IT! She kept telling me to make sure to let them know.
I'm recommending them to everyone I know! Everyone keeps asking anyway!
I was so incredibly happy with our photographers, I cannot enthuse enough. They were professional without being stuffy, they were friendly but didnt get in the way, and they were ...
excellent at handling an excited and easily distracted wedding party. Our pictures turned out SO beautiful, everyone loves them. I truly couldnt recommend these two enough.
Sean and Allison are awesome! We chose to have engagement, bridal, and wedding portraits done. I know that a lot of brides don't ever do bridal portraits, but if you book with A Gu...
y And A Girl, they will be beautiful. It was so fun doing an engagement session. My husband and I had a great time and now we have a ton of nice pictures of us together. On our wedding day, Sean and Allison covered everything from hair and make up to our departure. A lot of photographers will charge you per hour, but Sean and Allison just want you to be happy with how your pictures turn out and aren't petty about the exact number of hours an event is. They will go the extra mile to make sure that your pictures aren't those run of the mill, cheesy shots that everyone can do. They have a ton of artistic ability and your pictures will be one of a kind. I know ours are! I couldn't be happier with them.
We so enjoyed having Sean and Allison be a part of our day! We also used them as our engagement photographers and know that we made the right decision! Throughout the day, Sean spe...
