Kelly from A Handful Salon did an incredible job as the hair stylist for my coastal wedding in September. I went into my wedding hair trial feeling nervous as I have little experie...
nce with hair, but Kelly met me with a positive attitude and was very encouraging. Kelly is easy to trust and very knowledgeable in many hair styles and products. The day of my wedding, she styled my hair exactly how I dreamed of and it held up through the entire wedding day even after our windy beach ceremony. She also did the hair of my mother-in-law and six bridesmaids on-site and everyone looked beautiful. Kelly is accommodating, creative and highly skilled. She made all of us feel comfortable and glowing. I would recommend Kelly and A Handful Salon to any bride searching for their hair stylist.
A Handful Salon expertly handled all on-site hair and makeup for our wedding party, and were very flexible and accommodating in helping figure out a day-of schedule that could acco...
mmodate two different bridal party/bride and groom hair stations. We were particularly excited with the creative ideas they brought for a groom updo, despite limited experience with men's long hair styles. The end result got so many compliments, and was refined and polished for our black tie wedding without looking boring or feminine. The makeup was also stunning - so many of us had poor prior makeup experiences where you felt like a different person after being in the chair, but this was a world apart. They are real professionals, and do a great job of natural looking and feeling hair and makeup that boosts wedding day confidence and helps you look your best! It was also very easy to schedule hair and makeup trials in advance at the salon. We had a few minor communications issues that caused some stress along the way but nothing ultimately impactful on the process. We'd recommend them to anyone!

rs and mother of the bride and groom. I felt so special with them by my side on the day - making sure to help me and everyone feel and look so wonderful.

ons for how to prep my hair so it would stay all day/night. She was kind and patient when working with my bridesmaids and my mom, and she brought some levity to the bridal suite! Any stylist can do a brides hair, but Kellee is special because she was kind and made us all feel comfortable the day of the wedding. I highly recommend that any bride choose Kellee and a handful Salon for their day of hair!

ound a beautiful updo I was obsessed with. My hair held the entire night and it was beautiful and pictures.
As for Maddi, I had never met her and had no idea what I wanted. I felt beautiful by the end. I had all the confidence and felt beautiful.
They were on time. Prices were fair. I would choose them a thousand times over again.

d half down. Kelly tried that but then asked if she could try an updo as well and that became the winner quickly. My hair was beautiful. She was professional and on time and had all my girls in my wedding party done on time and our hair held well into the night. The girls loved their hair.
As for Maddi with makeup, it was beautiful. I told her I had no idea what I wanted and she got to work and I felt beautiful by the end. I was radiant and glowing and everyone commented on how beautiful I looked.
I would choose them a thousand times over again. The prices were perfectly fair and the results were unbelievable. They were some of the biggest parts of my perfect day.

bridesmaid commented on how they provided the best hair/makeup they've had in a wedding. Both Kelly and Mattie were adaptable to the unique styles that each bridesmaid and myself wanted. Making sure that we all felt our absolute best. They were both calm and flexible with the hectic nature of a wedding morning/afternoon. I cannot say thank you enough for making us all feel so beautiful.
Kelly (hair) and Maddie (makeup) were so easy to work with. I had a retro look in mind and Kelly just outdid herself. I felt and looked absolutely beautiful on my special day, and ...
so did all my bridesmaids. I'm a DIY bride right down to my wedding flowers. So we had to wrap the bouquets etc right before the ceremony and Maddie had just finished her last makeup, so she decided to give it a try! We had such a good time, and everyone was relaxed and looked gorgeous. Thank you ladies! We'll be down to see you soon for a day of beauty! <3
