o find out covered 30 days before the event as well! She was so kind and likeable in our meetings beforehand I felt very comfortable. She made it super easy to communicate throughout and was available for anything I needed. She is also an absolute professional and coordinated with all my vendors flawlessly, even giving me ideas on questions to ask that I would have never thought of myself. She handled so many behind the scenes things on the day of that I didn’t have to spend energy on anything besides enjoying my new husband, family, and friends! She was amazing helping with everything, to include putting out my signage, place cards, helping pack my end of night bag, even bringing it to us in our getaway car on top of helping me change my heels to slippers and had bandaids for blisters on the ready! Would choose her over and over again!

She has such a great personality — calm, funny, and just so easy to be around — and she’s somehow effortlessly organized without ever making anything feel stressful. She made the entire process feel manageable and actually enjoyable. On the day of the wedding, she handled everything. Every detail, every moving part, every moment that could’ve turned stressful — she had it covered. She kept things running smoothly while still checking in with me and making sure I felt good and taken care of the whole time. Bottom line: just hire her. If you want someone who is talented, reliable, genuinely kind, and will make your wedding day (and the whole planning process) so much easier, Kaitlyn is it. I can’t recommend her enough.

She reminded me of what I was forgetting, or didn't even know to think about, at various time intervals leading to the big day! And then, day of, she was right there helping us trouble shoot the biblical flooding we couldn't have predicted in St. Augustine. She literally carried my dress in the rain as my dad was walking me down the aisle.  She was incredible and so worth every penny. She should have charged more.  Book with Kaitlyn! Again, the second best decision I ever made.

ed for you. Buckle up.  Most couples can write reviews and rave about their coordinator because they had such a nice experience, blah, blah, etc. And of course, that part is coming. But they don’t FULLY know just how lucky they were to have Kaitlyn. We do, because we had TWO weddings: One with Kaitlyn and one without. I’ll let you guess which one went off without a hitch! We had a very small (<20 person) wedding at our village church in England with a few people we knew couldn’t make a trip to America. Then, a year later, we had a big wedding (>120) in St. Augustine with as many friends and family as we could cram onto the White Room rooftop.  Even though it was small, our first wedding was a tad chaotic. As a couple coordinating, directing, and partaking in our own day, with fewer than 15 guests, we thought, “How hard could it be?” Turns out there’s a reason couples say don’t skip the coordinator! The bridesmaid driving us to the church had a car that wouldn’t start, the best person had to run from the church to our home down the road to pick up forgotten programs, and the bride (me lol) was so late the guests (& groom) got… uncomfortable. We got everything sorted in the end as we were super fortunate to have such good friends and family there to help us, but now that we’ve had Kaitlyn in our planning era, it turns out we walked so that you could run: You need Kaitlyn!  Ok so fast forward a year, and repeat, but multiply by 6x the number of guests. This time, the bride’s car battery died, the ring bearer’s tie was forgotten, and the MOH’s flight was cancelled. But the difference this time was that we had Kaitlyn!!! We were/still are blissfully unaware of how many fires she put out because everything went so smoothly. Our bridal party LOVED her, but for me (the bride), I think the thing I loved the most was Kaitlyn asking us ahead of time what our number one most important thing was (it was spending time together), and she made it happen. Finding her was a scene straight out of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The first coordinator we interviewed was too lackadaisical, the second was way too uptight. Kaitlyn was just right. She’s a person I would genuinely become friends with if we met at a wedding. AND! I love that she got into coordinating because she was a MOH and was so good at it, it became a passion. I know Kaitlyn’s other reviews talk about how she goes above and beyond (which was a big part of why I reached out to her in the first place—shout out to reviewers before me!), but she TRULY does the MOST! She was delivering leftover cake and piles of wedding stuff (the venue had to be emptied night-of!) to my mom’s house at midnight while we were off after-partying some where downtown. Given how much work it was to coordinate our own 20-person wedding vs. the way Kaitlyn handled our 120-person wedding, this is your cue to BOOK HER NOW and we hope she has your date available!  We can say with 100% certainty that a wedding with Kaitlyn is much less stressful than a wedding without her because we literally tried it both ways. Five stars, 10/10 would book again.

She kept in contact not only for progress of the wedding planning but also my general well being. As for the day itself, I could not tell you a single bad thing happening that impacted how it went. If anything negative happened, it went over my head because Kaitlyn was on top of everything. I cannot recommend her enough to plan your wedding; you will not regret it.

On our wedding day, something was brought to our attention that no bride wants to hear, our outdoor wedding that I had dreamed about had a chance of being rained out and all these decisions had to be made. Kaitlyn was so calm about all the weather issues we were facing and came up with solutions for all of them which calmed everyone involved in the decision making process. The weather ended up working out, but if it didn’t, Kaitlyn had ideas for all the issues we would have faced. They also setup your decor for you as long as it isn’t an excessive amount and I didn’t need to ask any of my family to help setup and everyone could relax prior to the wedding. Overall, investing in A Lavish Event was a great decision and worth every penny!

ing a phone meeting to discuss what I envisioned for my wedding day and how her services would best be utilized. We decided that day of coordination with an added assistant would be best. Kaitlyn kept me motivated and on track of wedding planning from the beginning. She kept in touch regularly and as we began to get closer to the final day we scheduled multiple zoom meetings. She reached out to all of my vendors the weeks prior to confirm and work out any issues that could arise. I feel like Kaitlyn really shined at the rehearsal. Getting a wedding party of 12, parents, a flower girl, and officiant all on the same page is no easy task. But Kaitlyn did it like a pro, she had my music on her phone ready to play and spent time making sure the spacing of everyone was perfect and looked balanced for photos. Again, I cannot say enough good things! The morning of, Kaitlyn and her assistant arrived and were ready to go! They checked in on us multiple times as they set everything up. I believe everything went smoothly but I would have never known otherwise because she is such a professional at what she does and wants the Bride and Groom to enjoy their day. My entire family even commented on how lucky I was to have Kaitlyn and her team. I cannot even imagine how the day could have or would have gone without her expertise! Thank you Kaitlyn for making my day so special!

Our ceremony at San Juan Del Rio and reception at Sawgrass went off without a hitch, thanks to their meticulous attention to detail. When Kaitlyn noticed that the wrong dance floor had been installed at the reception, she quickly resolved the issue and got the correct one in place without us having to worry about a thing. She also went the extra mile after the celebration, carefully packing away all our items and handling everything with care. Kaitlyn truly went above and beyond to make our 11/15/2024 wedding perfect. We are so grateful for her hard work and dedication. If you're looking for someone who will bring organization, creativity, and heart to your big day, Kaitlyn is the one!

d everything and more to make my wedding day (and the weeks leading up to it) as smooth as possible. I hired her as a day of coordinator but in my opinion she did so much more. She was happy to answer my texts or calls leading up to the wedding, never made me feel like I was asking too much or annoying and the day of she was calm, patient and cool under pressure which therefore made me feel so much better. I can’t imagine a better wedding coordinator and I would recommend her with flying colors to any future bride needing someone to look out for them and help them.
