NING. The in-person tasting was a nice experience, they provided full-sized slices of popular flavors, and even made us an extra slice to bring home to our family after we decided. We chose alternating tiers of Combo cake with cappuccino and Old Fashioned Chocolate with s’mores filling. But we were a little disappointed that many of their cakes/fillings either had little flavor or were way too sweet. I also needed time to rethink the design since what I originally wanted was out of our budget. Katie was very encouraging. When I called back, Vanessa was patient and assured me the new design would have just as much of the WOW-factor I envisioned.

They were friendly and knowledgeable with cake tasting and delivery options. We were even able to just pick up the cake tasting and do it at home, saving us time. The delivery was on time, and the cake was perfect. Our witnesses used them for their wedding and had great things to say, too.

Knocking stars for the tasting experience. The cake was included with my venue package and I was soooo soooo excited for my cake tasting. When we got there we were shown the list of flavors and options for the first time - allow at that point we weren’t given a choice for the tasting, those were preselected. It would have been a much better experience if the flavors were shared with us ahead of time to select from. The tasting consisted of a total of 3 cake flavors and 6 fillings (many were premium). When it was clear we weren’t going to be buying any of the add-ons early on, the mood was colder. We couldn’t ask for additional flavors (and couldn’t even bring the leftovers on our plate home). We ended up going back a couple weeks later and buying other cake flavors and fillings which we selected from. Tasting was 2 star so overall I’d give a 3-3.5.
Wasn’t my dream but I’m sure if you are spending the money it would be a better, warmer experience.

Our florist spruced it up with florals and wish we got to try the bottom two tiers from reception, they gave us the topper (which we already ate because the tradition of freezing cake is gross in my opinion). All in all, our guests and we loved it.

We ended up doing a simpler cake—our florist added fresh flowers to the cake—with a hand-drawn floral design, white fondant, and alternating tiers of chocolate/vanilla cake with fresh strawberries in chocolate ganache. It was beautiful and elegant and it worked perfectly with our overall wedding décor and flowers. Also, make sure to try their other baked goods. We stocked up after our cake tasting and it gives you a great idea of how talented this bakery is!

ly easy to get everything set up, we worked with Leo on the flavors and design and he was really wonderful to work with and even sketched up a cake for us while we were sitting there, as we had brought in some photos for design reference. We ended up with a 3-tier cake with 2 flavors (top 2 tiers were one flavor and bottom tier was a different flavor), and the resulting wedding cake was SO DELICIOUS! We got 4 massive slabs of leftover cake from the bottom tier (in addition to our top tier) back from the venue, and have been gladly eating it for dessert almost every night, as it still tastes as amazing as it did that night even though its been 3 (almost 4!) weeks since the wedding. Our guests were absolutely loving the cake too! Buttercream was not too sweet or too sugary as some buttercream frostings can be, and the fillings were perfect. Planning to go back to A Little Cake for any future special occasion cake needs!

We decided on a small cake top and a variety of cupcakes for our wedding. The cake and cupcakes were not only beautifuly decorated but were absolutely delicious! We took a box of leftovers along with our cake top home from our wedding and ate everything the following week. They stayed moist and fresh the entire time! The staff is amazing and the shop is prestine! We even took a ride up there a couple of times just to stop in and pick up goodies because everything is so amazing! I even told my husband all I want for my 50th birthday is one of their cakes! We loved them and could not be happier!
