my appointment had a call with Kim who would be the woman I worked with that day. I did not have a phone call with any other boutique, and it really set the tone for my appointment and made me feel so comfortable coming in. The moment I walked in everyone was so kind and then I met Kim, who I cannot put into words how much I love. Kim felt like family, she was SO kind, energetic and made me feel like I was her daughter. I fell in love with a dress but had two more appointments elsewhere and even though she was on vacation she still answered my email when I had a bad experience at the other two appointments and knew I had found with one at A little something white. What I also appreciated was no one pushed to make a sale, they truly wanted me to find MY perfect dress that felt like me. I came back to Kim a week later and purchased my dress. I also met Ashley the owner who again was just so kind and treated me like her daughter, as does everyone in that store. I was between sizes and they really took the time to work with the designer to ensure we were ordering the correct size. I cannot thank Kim enough, and the whole boutique for an incredible experience. I cannot wait to go back and have been recommending to all of my friends and we will be going back for Mother of the bride/groom as well as Tuxedo for the Groom fittings!

en, CT. Meg called me 10 min after sending an email and she was so kind and empathetic for what my situation was. She went the extra mile to find out answers to questions I had about a specific designer and after a few phone calls back and forth, I ended up making an appointment to try on some new dresses and Meg paired me with Nicole for my appointment.
Nicole called me the day before, already up to speed on my situation and we chatted about what I was looking for. She introduced me to a new designer I had never heard of (and I had scowered the internet lol). From the second I met Nicole, I knew she and I would click. She was kind, empathetic, respectful of my budget and determined to help me find the one. On my first appointment she allowed me to peruse the racks of dresses within in my budget and after picking out a few, we got on with the appointment. She made me feel so comfortable the entire time, was easy to talk to and she went the extra mile taking photos and videos of the contender dresses for me since I came to my appointment alone. She even kept me hydrated with water throughout my appointment! Nicole truly made me feel like a queen. After narrowing down to a few dresses, I made a second appointment for the following week.
The week leading up to my 2nd appointment, I had some questions, and she answered them in a prompt and timely manner and reminded me of the prices of each gown I had narrowed down to so I could budget and plan.
On my second appointment with Nicole, I brought my family with me and once again she was just as amazing, and we narrowed down to one dress. My family still has not stopped talking about Nicole and just how incredible she was. I could go on and on, but after shopping at 8 different bridal salons in the New York City and Long Island area, NONE of them compared to Nicole and the incredible treatment at A Little Something White. I cannot recommend them enough!!
If you are in NYC, PLEASE don’t hesitate on this shop because it is in Connecticut. The shop is conveniently located right off the Darien train station which is not a far commute from Grand Central at all. Your experience here will supersede anything you will find in NYC and I can say that with confidence.
Thank you Nicole, Meg and A Little Something White for an unbelievable experience on my bridal journey. This is how every bride should feel when shopping for their wedding dress. <3

Additionally, she let me walk around the shop and see what other dresses I might want to try on, something some of the other shops in CT did not allow due to their limited plus size stock. While ultimately I ended up finding a dress at another shop, I highly recommend checking out ALSW and working with Cindy if you can. She made the appointment seamless and stress free, and was extremely kind and helpful during our time together. Definitely check this shop out!

From there, she was able to mention designers and styles that fit my criteria. Upon arrival to the salon, she again spent time chatting with me before walking through the racks with me and getting a better sense of my preferences. From there, the try-ons began! She was so knowledgeable about every designer and dress. Their inventory was superb and made it easy to find a perfect dress! In fact I found a few! While in between dresses, Chrissy and Ashley were so helpful in guiding me to a decision based on their expertise. After the decision making, Ashley walked us through next steps. My mom and I couldn’t stop talking about what a special experience it was. Could not recommend more highly!

I worked with Krissy, who perfectly understood what I was looking for from a few e-mails and a short dressing room conversation. She pulled about ten gowns, all of which were dead on in terms of what I was looking for.
She helped me advocate for what I liked the best in front of my mom and sister, which can sometimes be a tricky dynamic! But wanted to make sure that I walked away with something I truly loved! I feel really privileged to have gotten to work with her and would highly recommend the shopping experience as a whole!

I didn't look at the size I was trying on once! I also did not feel rushed at all during my appointment, and was able to try on a variety of dresses. ALSW has a truly beautiful collection of gowns at a range of prices. They also have gorgeous accessories and veils- although I didn't end up purchasing my gown here, I did come back to buy my veil here! Cannot recommend ALSW highly enough, especially Cindy!
