They are also truly a safe space and incredibly LGBTQ friendly, they didn’t even bat an eye. My wife felt genuinely seen, supported, and comfortable every step of the way. And the best part? r felt like they were rushing me. They had a very good selection. It was the very last dress that the associates had put on the rack that I had said “yes” to the dress. Lindsey was my associate and she was great! They made the dress selection process very simple and fun for someone who was looking for something specific! They answered all my questions and made my dream dress come to life. Angela did my alterations and she was fantastic. I also went through Love Story and had my dress cleaned and preserved which was a quick and easy process. The whole process from start to finish with Love Story was seamless! 

en I went to Love Story. May’s typist was absolutely phenomenal, she picked out dresses that fit my description of what I wanted and pushed me out of my comfort zone to help me find THE dress! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

r since they moved to the Route 4 location, I knew I wanted to go there to try on dresses, and they did not disappoint! Here is one little thing that went the extra mile for me - I had 2 appointments with 2 different bridal stores the day I went to try on dresses. A Love Story Bridal was my first stop and I fell in love with the first dress I tried on. I kept hesitating on saying yes to the dress as I felt obligated to go to the other appointment I had made for that day. I am not one to like to cancel appointments last minute. The wonderful attendant I had that day asked me what my reservations were about saying yes at that moment and having my big celebratory "Yes" moment. When I explained to her my debacle, she put me at ease and told me she would handle calling the store for me and that it was nothing I needed to feel any guilt about. Once I knew this was off my plate, I felt ready to say yes and they popped the champagne and I got to have my big moment! It was this little extra help they gave me that makes me very happy to recommend them to anyone looking for their wedding dress. The alterations studio is also fantastic. I know I gave them quite the project with altering my dress - both because I had lost a significant amount of weight, but also cause the dress itself was complicated and I am short, so there was quite a bit of complex hemming they had to do. The dress came out amazing and fit me perfectly. I would not have trusted anyone else with altering this dress!

time as this is a huge decision. A few months after I found my dress, my grandmother became very ill, I called Angela's to see if I could put the sample gown on again in front of her. They immediately said yes absolutely, and allowed me to come in that weekend with her. They did not rush us and allowed for such a special moment and memory I will cherish forever! It didn't stop just here, each fitting with Angela and her staff was fantastic, again just made me feel very calm during a stressful time! Super hardworking and amazing at what they do!  You will have no regrest if you were to buy your wedding dress here, the best in the area!!

Story were incredible in helping me find the perfect dress. I really appreciated that my family and I could pick out dresses for me to try on. Then, the stylist I worked with selected dresses based on the feedback I gave her. I never would have tried on my dress if it weren't for my stylist. rk but I still wanted a formal wedding dress and I thought I had a general idea of what I wanted but ended up having no idea what I wanted. ☺️ My top 3 dresses could not have been more different and the staff helped walk me through the pros and cons of each of them without pressuring me one way or another. It’s a small shop so you don’t feel overwhelmed but they have a great variety of dresses and also do designer trunk shows quite often. It’s also a seamless transition if you use their alterations studio (which I recommend). Everyone was friendly and helpful from start to finish and I’ve already recommended them to multiple friends!

Janet and all of the staff were so welcoming and made what could have been an overwhelming experience so much fun! All of the ladies there were so knowledgeable about the many different types of dresses and styles, and they were able to read my emotions while trying on the different dresses, in order to help me find "the one". They were patient and kind and never rushed me (or my Mom). They were there for me and made me feel so special, even though I know they do this all the time with so many other brides lol. The dress itself was the most gorgeous dress I had ever seen and it was so ME! I would buy the same dress over and over again and I am so happy that I chose this one as my final bridal shop. g on 7 dresses! I really love how you get set up with their alteration studio because finding a bridal seamstress would have been a daunting task, but they make it SO EASY. Also, the experience at the alteration studio is unlike any others. I have 4 sisters all married, and they agreed my process of finding the dress and having it altered was far superior than theirs because I went to a love story bridal. I highly recommend!!!

I had an insane dress experience - my dress that I ordered 10+ months in advance, never came in. This was not Love Story's fault at all. Exactly 30 days before my wedding date, we needed another plan and I needed to find a new dress - preferably one that we could get quickly so that we could begin alterations. Janet Cooper is by far the most incredible human that I could have had to navigate such a stressful and challenging time. Not only did Janet spend hours with me evaluating my options, she made me feel heard, understood, and felt like a dear friend through the entire process. Janet and the ladies at Love Story went above and beyond - helping me find a new dress that I LOVED - so much more than my original - made stunning customizations to my gown, and took care of everything to make me feel beautiful and look my best on the best day of my life. She was kind and patient and listened thoughtfully to everything that I was looking for in a dress, picked a number of styles for me with a wide range to try on to see what I did and what I didn't like in each style. I swear she knew exactly what I was thinking about each one before I even said it -- she's so in tune with her brides and helping them pick out the perfect dress! They have a curated selection of dresses that are absolutely stunning have a wide range of sizes and styles. From modern to vintage, I swear I got to try on every style I had my eye on leading up to the appointment. I had my dream dress in under an hour and booked my alterations with them as well to make sure that it fit perfectly. I left the dress fitting appointment feeling so much more at ease and confident all at the same time. Not having to think about the dress any longer and knowing that it was in their hands helped me to focus on other aspects of the wedding planning. Their alterations team?? Absolutely incredible! Katie and Janet were phenomenal and my dress fittings were quick and easy and they made it fit like a glove for me the day of my wedding. My wedding was out of state on the beach, so they packed it up beautifully for travel and even sent me with a little '911 kit' for anything that needed to be pinned day of, which was so very thoughtful. All of my family and friends attending the wedding were out of state so I didn't have anyone to come with me to any of my appointments but it felt like I was with family and friends the entire time thanks to the incredible crew at A Love Story by Angela's Bridal. They eased my mind and made me feel so cared for throughout the entire process. If you've made it this far down the review and read all this, just book them! You seriously will be SO happy you did and it will be one more thing checked off the list that you won't need to worry about and that you KNOW will be in good hands. I'll sing their praises the rest of my life and highly recommend you book them ASAP for all your wedding dress and alteration needs.

wouldn't find a dress, I knew I'd made the right choice for my last shop of the day the SECOND I walked into Angela's. Such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere to walk into. They actually listened to me, and the third dress I tried on here was the one. Great selection of dresses. Lots of traditional, unique, and modern dresses of all silhouettes. I highly recommend using their alterations studio as well. Dress fit like a glove when they were done with it, and I had so much fun going to my appointments. Felt like going to dance around in a princess dress with my friends. Can't say enough good things all around.

l special and share in my excitement in such a genuine way. I ended up ordering an almost completely custom dress from them which was easy with their extensive knowledge and helpful opinions. Even though I went the design route, they have a large selection of amazing dresses. I would highly recommend Love Story to any bride. I would also recommend following their Instagram which posts the latest styles and trends and allowed me to start thinking about what I liked months in advance. They always answer DMs and emails promptly and are incredibly professional.

ld win fun prizes.. so what did I have to lose. I ended up leaving with my dream dress. The one on one attention is amazing & exactly what every bride deserves. Nicole is no longer with the team since purchasing my dress & I was so sad to see her go but this is an experience I’ll always remember. My dress has my safely stored at their alterations studio until it’s time to start that process. At the time of purchase, I didn’t want a veil so I wasn’t even paying attention to veil lengths colors etc., I have an accessories appointment where I’ll try on my dress , get the feel of it again, & try on veils to help ensure I pick the perfect one for my special day! The staff are so patient, kind, & experienced. They take time to listen. They really do put each & every bride at the center of all they do.

Everyone was amazing at making you feel as comfortable as possible and did an amazing job at listening to what I was looking for and finding dresses that I would not have even thought to look at. As someone that was very nervous about finding a dress that would fit me right, they went above and beyond and making sure that I was comfortable! Angela’s Bridal is a must stop for all brides!

The team that works with you are experts in wedding gowns and have tips and tricks for what to look for, how to store and transport your gown, and let you experience being a bride! There was absolutely no pressure to hurry or to buy just to get your money. I loved working with them.

one helped me pick out dresses or get in or out of them. Taylor was amazing and helped me the whole way. My favorite part about A Love Story is that they have separates. Meaning you can customize your wedding dress- how cool!! At first I was weary seeing "crop tops" and "maxi skirts" hanging there but trust the process. The store looks small, a fraction of the side of David's Bridal, but they probably have more options here than anywhere else due to the customization, which is totally unique to you! Since both pieces of my dress were the same designer (Liz Simon) I was able to get it sewn together to be one complete, flawless dress. The quality of A Love Story's dresses are also far superior. The fabric is SO SOFT and comfortable, oh my goodness, I could have worn it to bed it was so comfortable lol. Nothing irritated my sensitive skin at all. I recently went to David's with a friend and you could see her underwear through the dresses there. Hot pink underwear under my dress, no problem, and my dress was fitted! They don't do in-house alterations here, which I find to be a blessing. I have heard so many horror stories (which actually happened with my bridesmaid's dresses at another location) of bridal stores intentionally ordering the incorrect size dress to require alterations. When I say my dress came in PERFECT, I mean I went to the seamstress and she made it maybe a 1/2 inch snugger in the bust. They do provide a great list of suggested local seamstresses to go to. My only complaint about A Love Story is their timing. I ordered my dress in May 2018 with my wedding being September 2019, so I had plenty of time. I was told when I ordered it that it would be in, in about 9 months. Spring 2019 I still hadn't heard anything, so I called for an update with almost no information given other than "we will call you when it's here." After 13 months (June 2019) I reached out to the designer who said I would receive a call from A Love Story and that it was in fact in production. After about a week I still hadn't received a call, so I called them and they said my dress would be sent to them "soon." Finally, in July my dress arrived. It was very stressful not being given any increments of time or reassurance, I was ready to go buy another dress off the rack out of fear it would never come for how vague the phone calls were. I also had a destination wedding, therefore having less than 2 months for alterations was stressful, thankfully it didn't need much done to it! My advice brides to be, only come here if you have PLENTY of time and a lot of patience.

perfect dress (Dori by Hayley Paige) with my family surrounding me in their beautiful storefront. Unfortunately, my praises end there. I ordered my dress in August 2018 for my wedding in July 2019. My dress came 4 weeks prior to my wedding and did not zip (and I had truly not changed at all in size). I had 3 alterations appointments in a tiny, hot residential apartment in Albany as they were in the process of moving from Albany to Troy. The woman in alterations kept ignoring my additional concerns regarding missing rhinestones and extra fabric on a seam in the front of the dress. After my 2nd appointment, the dress still did not zip. When I became emotional as I had less than 2 weeks before my wedding, the woman in alterations abruptly and rudely told me to stop crying and that I was worrying over nothing. On my last appointment, I had to spend over 2 hours fighting to have the changes made to get my wedding dress to look the way I wanted it to (adding back missing rhinestones and tacking down extra fabric that was sticking out along the front seams). I am a very passive, calm person typically but having this woman ignore my reasonable wishes for my wedding dress that I paid a lot of money for made me pretty livid. In the end, it did fit and looked beautiful but I had the worst experience to get the dress to that point. I would never recommend this bridal salon.

mily and bridesmaids/friends and the bride really get special attention which is necessary in order to be able to find the dress of your dreams! Meghan took amazing care of me! She was so incredibly helpful and patient! Just as an example, at one point, Meghan helped me switch back and forth between two different dresses at least three times until I was finally able to decide on my dress. I love that they waited to put the vail on until it was down to two dresses that helped me decide. Meghan really listened to what I wanted – she selected dresses that complimented my body type and personality. She offered advice and made suggestions that helped me to think deeply about my wedding and what I wanted. Additionally, when waiting for the dress to be delivered I contacted Meghan and she worked hard to determine when the dress was going to be delivered. I do wish that they did alterations in store but, they did offer names of seamstresses in the area. I am very grateful that I came across this beautiful boutique and highly recommend this shop to all brides I come in talk to!

Angela's appointment. As soon as i walked into the doors, I was immediately blown away by how GORGEOUS the store is! I was greeted by Nora and i swear she chatted with me like we had been friends forever! She was so patient and honest with me. I seriously think she would have let me try on every dress in the store - if that's what i wanted! She helped me into each dress so my mom and sister could just sit back for the fashion show. Picking the dress was easy - it was the first one i tried on and i couldn't stop thinking about it. After trying all the dresses i put in the dressing room, all i wanted to do was put that first one back on again. After saying yes, Nora popped the Champagne, and we celebrated! I left that day feeling loved and so happy with my decision. Every fitting after that was great. there's really something special about how the owner of the shop meets with every bride to do their alterations. At my last fitting, I tried on the dress and it fit like a glove. However, There was one minor thing (that was hardly noticeable), but the ladies would not let me leave unless the dress was perfect. They spent the day fixing it just so i could pick it up later that night. Shopping here was the best decision i made and i truly believe every bride NEEDS to experience Angela's.

It was a very personalized experience with my two girlfriends and I at the bridal shop. The employees we worked with were super friendly and even played some of my favorite music as I said "yes" to the dress. Their intimate setting made it feel like it really was your time and an important day in your wedding planning.

esome! Unfortunately the scheduling of appointments and the alterations process was not so easy. The alterations ended up being fine but required several additional appointments because the incorrect changes were made and needed to be reversed and whatnot. At my final fitting the length was uneven but we just had to accept it because my wedding was less than two days away. My bustle didn’t stay at all and given I had a long train it made for a long night. I can deal with additional appointments but the customer service was so terrible on top of that. They were difficult to get on the phone and just extremely inconsiderate of my time and schedule and made the process more stressful than it needed to be. The store is beautiful and they have the best selection of dresses in the area but the whole experience was not pleasant.

boy, I like sports and sweat pants and put makeup on a handful of times a year. But this was my wedding and I wanted to feel pretty and from the moment I stepped into Angela's I felt that way. My consultant, Rosa was amazing and kept my spirits up when sample dresses didn't fit. And once I said yes to a dress she made celebrated with my family and friends. The first fitting was also great (with Janet), the second I become a little nervous about the top being to lose which wasn't addressed on that visit but when I picked up my dress and still had the concern the Angela team worked on it until I was happy. Highly recommend.

irls there are so amazing and make you feel your absolute best! My gown was strapless, but because I was having a church ceremony I wanted a lace long sleeve jacket. They found the perfect jacket (also from Pronovias) and it matched my dress spot on! The jacket needed some alteration as there was a lot of tool for the tie in the back. They were able to modify it so it closed with buttons that matched the ones on the back of my dress. All of my bridesmaids got dresses at Angela's as well and they were absolutely stunning! I could not be happier with my experience at Angela's.

in October of the previous year. I did the whole New York City thing, tried on several dresses and found what I thought was "the one" on my first outing. When the dress came in, it was the wrong color, and the lace on it just didn't look as I had remembered when I ordered it. By the time I got to my alterations, I was convincing myself that I liked it. I kept thinking that each appointment would make me like it more but it just didn't. So, finally, 6 weeks before my wedding, I went to Angela's on a whim. I was so upset, but the team at Angela's made me feel so much better. I found a dress that was EXACTLY what I was looking for and bought it right on the spot -- I didnt't even have an appointment and they fit me right in to accomodate my situation. They even rushed my alterations appointments so it would be ready for my big day. And ready it was! My dress was beyond beautiful. I felt how I always thought I would feel putting on my dress and it's all because of the Angela's staff. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop. They are friendly, helpful and I'm proof positive that they have seen it all :).

They were super experienced and full of wisdom as they guided me through the wedding dress process. They were extremely patient with me as I tried on almost every dress in the store, and put on and took of the dress I ended up buying - no less than five times. I could not have been happier with my experience or my dress on my wedding day.

. They all had attendants that helped me get into and out of dresses, and all had offered suggestions, but nothing like A Love Story Bridal. Even before I had gotten engaged, I knew that I wanted to go dress shopping here. Every time I looked through the window, there was always something there! Since it's a smaller shop, you always had personal attention and didn't have to worry about another bride to be in the shop with you also shopping for a dress. It was intimate, personal, and they had a great selection of gowns. I stepped into the dress that I ultimately went with, and loved it, but wanted to be sure before I dropped all that money on it, and was able to go back again several weeks later to get it! They were so accommodating and were not at all pushy. They gave suggestions and were just a joy to shop with!

all the wrong styles. At A Love Story Bridal we found my dress within the first 5 minutes and it was everything I could have dreamed of! They had champagne for a celebration toast and my family and bridesmaids had such an amazing experience! I would whole heartily suggest to any future bride to stop in here to find their perfect dress! I'm so glad that I did!
