Marc and his team did an amazing job with my wedding celebration dinner. I wanted something modern and tropical and we settled on orchids and palm fronds with some gold geometric thrown in. Marc did green mums and floating candles in smaller square vases on the table and then these huge palm centerpieces with orchids and roses. The bar area, cake table, and bathrooms also looked amazing. Marc has an amazing vision and taste and knows how to make it look effortlessly chic without going too over the top. I would not hesitate to use him again. Good communication, professional set up and breakdown, and surprisingly affordable compared to other downtown florists/designers.

Marc and his team MADE my wedding- literally, his flower designs were the star! From arrangements on the bar and high tops, the framing of the table seating cart, high and low centerpieces for the tables, and a floral runner for the LONG head table- every detail was thought of (even added arrangements in the restrooms)! I cannot day enough about how happy I was with A Marc in Design! I would recommend them 1000 times over! Thank you!

Transformation from “I don’t really like flowers.. to .. I want more flowers” My very best friend was getting married and wanted something very intimate and simple June 2019. She’s normally a little over the top but because of trying to plan a wedding in 1 week she wanted to keep it as simple as possible. She generally doesn’t make a big deal about flowers; often saying she’s not into flowers. Living in NY and helping her with this wedding in Florida, did not make it easier, so many things to do (find venue to host the ceremony and reception, tight budget and in less than a week). But let’s just say that it all happened beautifully and completely created a paradigm shift for my dear friend and her now husband. I arrived to Florida Saturday afternoon, we researched florist and found A Marc in Design. We entered this floral shop 4pm hoping for a miracle and a miracle was delivered the next morning at 11am for the wedding! When the package was delivered and set to display, we were WOWED! The arrangements and tablescape made the event the event. Guests were wowed and couldn’t believe this was planned in less than a week. My friend found herself explaining time and time again that this was done in hours leading up to the wedding. Marc transformed her into a lover of flowers and arrangements. She’s now planning a bigger do-over wedding in a year and has already requested more flowers with a rose wall as back-drop. Can you believe that! Marc certainly left an impression and left A Marc in Design in my friend’s heart. Marc himself was a charm to work with, miracle worker at hand and personally provided great customer follow up during the delivery process and after the wedding. We are going to be repeat customers for sure. Round 2, 3 and 4…..here we come Marc! For all events like Wedding, Dinner Parties and Celebrations, we know where to go!

My husband and I used A Marc In Design for our wedding in July. We live out of state so everything was done over the phone. They were so helpful the whole time and made everything very stress free! They made us the most beautiful arrangements and just went above and beyond to make it all look perfect! We couldn’t have been happier with everything they did for us.

We lucked out getting a recommendation from our cake vendor for a Marc in design. We were planning on going minimal with our decor so we were a bit last minute (less than a month) with deciding on our flowers. From the moment we walked in Mark made us feel welcome and special, he was extremely busy yet still consulted with us for over half an hour. We came back a few days later and set everything up. At no point did he try to upsell us and helped us to stay budget conscious through the process. I showed him an inspiration bouquet and what they provided couldn't have been more perfect! We also communicated with Vinny who could not have been more friendly and helpful! We are so happy they were part of our wedding, they were not only affordable but they do amazing work!

Stunning! Hiring A Marc in Design is a MUST if you want the most BEAUTIFUL wedding you have ever seen! Living in London, I researched a lot of floral designers in the Miami area before I decided to go with Marc and his team! Not only was he able to work within my budget, what he created was a wedding masterpiece!!! When he showed me my wedding bouquet, I cried as it was EXACTLY what I envisioned, honestly it was even better! He makes it easy for me...I come in, give him the vibe and the budget, and let him run with it. Marc and Trae took the time and really listened to what I wanted and tailored a centerpiece to fit my budget. On the day of the event Marc and Vinny came to set up the venue and saw where some extra touches were needed and helped me to get the venue looking gorgeous. First let me start by saying what an incredible staff working together and enjoying what they do . The young man Vinny was so personable and refreshing to be around he kept me and my brides maids in stitches and he assisted us with getting the flowers all organized As for the table arrangements we were blown away as they turned out to be so much more then we dreamed of all the colors were amazing and alive the room was glowing with candle light and flowers everywhere. If there were higher than 5 stars I would give 100+! Marc and his team were INCREDIBLE. Our budget wasn’t large and other florists in the area were asking for insane amounts to pull off the look we wanted. Marc went above and beyond and my jaw dropped when I saw the venue on the day of. It’s hard to trust someone with your vision but Marc is so kind and takes time to go through each and every aspect of your plan to make sure you’ll be happy. Our guests commented on how beautiful our flowers were and how well they went with the venue and theme of our wedding. Marc, we can’t thank you enough for how beautiful of a job you did. My bouquet was breathtaking! Marc and his team are responsive, reliable, skilled and all at a price that is reasonable and fair. A+ vendor!

Marc and his team were amazing from the moment we started working together almost a year before my wedding. I was a very involved bride and not once did I feel like I was bothering them. They answered all my questions and changed things as often as I asked them to. The day of, I looked around me inside of my ready room and everything was done—tables, boutiques, corsages, boutonnières, everything laid out for us to grab (and labeled!). I didn’t get a call from them that day or anything. They came and did everything without stressing me out which was greatly appreciated on a hectic day. Everyone commented on how beautiful the colors popped between my bouquet to my aisle flowers and table centerpieces to the grooms flower. Highly recommend.

The owner is unprofessional, dishonest & will not honor your contract-if you would like your wedding ruined and then to be screamed at by a lunatic for their huge mess up-hire him! Was hired for a CHUPPAH and delivered an ARCH to a Jewish Ceremony with a Rabbi officiating.He botched my wedding so bad that he fired his employee of 2 years because of it, confirmed during telephone calls,voicemails&emails with me that he would refund my money then changed his mind &came up with every fabricated excuse in the book after crying on the phone to me about how embarrassed&sorry he was. Feel free to contact me for my contract, voicemails, emails and photographs where he entirely admits to the wrongdoing and then never refunds the money. He lied to my credit card company when I was forced to make a dispute, completely fabricating information he knows nothing about and continuing his dishonesty and total lack of professionalism. Instead of doing the right thing and simply refunding the money, although the mistake cannot be undone, forever ruining the ceremony, after agreeing they completely messed up and a refund would be issued, he later changed his tune, indicating that the fired employee didn't charge me enough for a chuppah so they made the unilateral decision to deliver an arch with no notice to me. Every single document, contract, communication, in-person meeting at the studio involved a CHUPPAH, an ugly arch was delivered just before the ceremony started. He explained in detail between screaming epithets at me that "he delivered on this wedding at a loss" so there would be no refund despite, as you can see in the voicemail from him below, that the vow exchange area was completely wrong. He insulted me, my theme and reception all because he does not know how to run a business or honor a contract. Never once did they discuss an arch with me or different pricing, he has changed his story 10 times on his errors. I had 11 vendors at my reception &no other issues.

If you're looking for a rave review, here it is. It with enthusiasm that I recommend Marc Douvris as floral designer extraordinaire, who entirely realized our vision for both rehearsal dinner and wedding décor. Planning a wedding long-distance can be challenging, but early on Marc demonstrated an eagerness to fully deliver his services, connecting with the point person at our Florida club in a site visit so that he would not only grasp the lay of the land at the venue but also have a personal relationship with club staff. Such was his professionalism in the process. And the product? Two examples: The chuppah he created for the ceremony transformed a simple idea of adornment with tropical leaves into a dramatic work of art; the dinner arrangements were similarly stunnng. What also sets Marc apart is his respect for budget as well as his care in communicating our importance as clients. While the performance of his team demonstrated that importance, it was Marc's congenial, always reassuring and accommodating attitude that made the process such a delight. Wedding expectations are always exceptionally high; we were not disappointed in A Marc in Design, thus my eagerness to provide this unequivocal endorsement.

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was choosing a Marc in Design as our Florist. Marc was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He is very collaborative and listens to what you want but his creativity takes it to a new level. Our centerpieces were BEAUTIFUL! Besides the trust we had in Marc, there was no anxiety as to what our flowers/ centerpieces would look like because he did a real mock up of them about 6 months before the wedding. My cascading bridal bouquet was gorgeous. I cant say enough great things about working with A Marc in Design. One more thing, Hurricane Irma hit one month before our wedding. Marc was personally affected with power outages but he did not let that affect our timeline in anyway. He was still taking my calls and responding to emails without skipping a beat. Always putting his client first!

If I could give 10 stars I would. A Marc in Design seriously knocked it out of the park. I just recently got married this past weekend (150 guest list) and can hardly put into words how amazing this place is! ALWAYS a phone call or email away - and always got back to me whenever I had changes or updates in mind. They are very flexible and work with you! And when I got my flowers that day I was shocked! Marc took my photos and personal ideas and made everything happen just the way I dreamed.. I can't wait for all of the photos. It was amazing to work with such kind people who are consistently available, and who really put 110% into making the customer happy. My wife and I were very happy with the flowers! We had so many little details, including the my bride's bouquet, the wedding party flowers, centerpieces, cocktail tables, terrariums and jars in trees and on fences, pew aisle flowers...that being said, the best part was that it was all within our budget! My wedding was April 22, 2017, on earth day and the theme I was going for was rustic/somewhat boho. At our initial consultation, I told Marc what I was going for and showed him pictures of some of my ideas. He was so kind and helpful and even worked with our budget, which was how we made the decision to go with him. (I had a different florist in mind prior who was unable to provide us with all of the things we hoped for, including bridesmaid bouquets, with our budget.) Marc, Jim, and Ali and anyone else I met at the shop were so wonderful and kind and on top of all of this, they took my ideas and made them better! I was in absolute awe on the day of my wedding; everything was beautiful and WAY more than what I expected! I know it was a lot of work for them too, because it was an outdoor wedding and I had jars and terrariums hanging from trees and fences, etc. that they had to tie and put up. Words cannot express how much thought and heart this dream team put into my wedding and I am so thankful for the referral to Marc! If I had to ever get flowers for any event in the future, I would go to Marc in heartbeat and not think twice! I can't wait to see our professional photos. :)))

I used Marc as my wedding florist. He was extremely kind when I first met him and I was looking forward to working with him. Unfortunately once I gave my deposit, his behavior drastically changed. The first instance occurred where I knew I made a mistake was when the venue was requesting his insurance. I requested him to send it and for whatever reason this became a month long ordeal. I would follow up with him on this because the venue stated if he did not have it, then I could not use him and being that I already put down a hefty deposit I was concerned. He was extremely rude with me and happened to forward me an email which he has sent to his insurance agent where he specifically referred to me as a BITCH and that I was ANNOYING him about it. I politely advised him the venue was requesting this NOT ME. I then felt extremely uncomfortable but my deposit was already paid and I was stuck with him. I constantly felt anytime I reached out to him I had to walk on egg shells and as if I was a nuisance to him. I did not hear from him again until the week before my wedding, mind you I had not seen any examples of what my flowers would look like. When I asked if I would see them before my wedding day to ensure it was everything I requested, he stated I could not see them and that an appt had to be booked for that ahead of time. He never called me about this and I was never aware I needed to do this being that this is my first wedding and the first large wedding of both of our families. Of course, my bridal bouquet was NOT at all like the picture I had showed and was extremely small. It was the same exact size as my bridesmaids and it was difficult to tell which was even mine. My sweetheart table was subpar and NOTHING like the picture either. He also left a "Mr and Mrs" sign which he used as a prop behind at the venue. He left me extremely rude emails calling me "entitled" and that I have "no principle". Keep in mind I left the venue immediately after the reception, I had nothing to do with any clean up yet here I was being disrespected and accused of taking a sign that wasn't my responsibility to keep track of. I was also on my honeymoon and the last thing on my mind was a vendor looking for a wooden sign left behind. I answered every email he sent even though I was on my honeymoon, never received any calls or voicemails. He accused me and my family of taking this sign and continued to send threatening and disrespectful emails and threatened to take me to SMALL CLAIMS COURT for a $30 sign that HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR GRABBING. As it turns out, he left it at the venue, which I had to pick up and mail over night to him when I returned back home. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. This was the absolute worst experience I had with a vendor and have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism and disrespect in my life from anyone, LET ALONE as a CUSTOMER. If you want a stress free wedding or event DO NOT USE MARC AS YOUR FLORIST.

Wow.... Just wow! My bouquet was perfect! The uniqueness of it was everything I wanted. From the succulents to the ferns to the kale to the jade roses. Marc created something so beautiful that it's just so hard to describe how thankful I am. Oh! And how could I forget my bridesmaid bouquets, the boutonnieres, and the moms corsages! Those too were just simply gorgeous, amazing, and everything I hoped for!

Wedding on 11/05/2016: The floral of my wedding was stunning! I was very impressed when I arrived at the venue. Everything looked perfect, just the way I wanted - chic yet simple. We received many compliments on the floral decoration and Marc Douvris' service was exceptional. It was painless to work with him since start to end. We don't live in Florida so I didn't get to meet him in person to plan the design of the event but it was no problem. He was very responsive to EVERY phone call and emails, and took notes every time we spoke. I called him with more last minute requests and he was able to accommodate everything. He is professional, creative and listens to what the client wants. And he delivered everything as promised. It was a pleasure working with him and I'm confident to say that he not only met but exceeded our expectations. I'm very happy with the outcome of my wedding's floral design and would absolutely recommend A Marc in Design.

Despite some issues with the venue on the day of the wedding (none of which were Marc's fault, but the venue coordinator unexpectedly changing the time of setup), the flowers turned out beautifully. I received many compliments from guests, including that they looked as though they belonged in a five-star resort! My father in-law even loved them, and he typically does not appreciate flowers. Being a destination bride, it can be difficult to hire a vendor without meeting in person. However, I felt confident with Marc from the beginning due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews and beautiful photos. To future brides, I would not hesitate!

Marc is an unbelievably talented florist whose services have been instrumental in setting our event spaces apart.
