From the first few minutes of my initial call with Christine at A Modern Touch, I knew that she was a cut above every other florist I contacted. Christine immediately understood my vision of having romantic, organic, garden-inspired florals at my wedding and she ABSOLUTELY delivered on the day-of! She put together an incredible Powerpoint presentation with detailed photos AND description explaining exactly how she would design our wedding florals. I was incredibly impressed by her work which was so detailed & thoughtful. This marked her from the beginning as a very special vendor. Throughout the process, Christine was incredibly helpful and accessible via email. She even helped weigh in on non-floral design elements such as napkins, etc. I did not work with a wedding planner/designer so I really appreciated her willingness to go above and beyond to help me out and brainstorm ideas. On the day of the wedding, Christine absolutely blew us away. My husband and I could not believe how well she brought our "enchanted garden" to life! The florals were elegant and organic - almost as if they appeared naturally out of the earth. Our wedding was over a month ago and guests are still raving about our flowers. I could not recommend Christine enough. She is a big reason why our wedding day was the most special day of my life.

Florals were a very imporant aspect in my wedding, and Christine knocked it out of the park. I pull up a photo of my sweetheart table basically every day since after my wedding because that is how obsessed i was with it. We had to move our ceremony indoors due to rain, and the florals made the space so so much better. You will not regret booking with her! I already have other brides asking who my florist was!

Christine made all my floral dreams come true! I was about to sign with a different florist but then Christine sent me this vision board that perfectly encapsulated my vision for my wedding. She was reasonably priced and I received so many compliments weeks after my wedding on the florals. I wanted a variety of small bud vases for my centerpieces and they looked incredibly elegant, I couldn’t believe how stunning each small arrangement was. Christine also made the most beautiful full arch for our ceremony and ensured it was done in time for us to take our photos before the ceremony. I can’t speak highly enough of her!

Christine did my flowers for my wedding and I still have people sending me messages about how gorgeous the flower arrangements were! I chose Christine because she helped my vision come true, even though I know nothing about flowers. She created a vision board off of a conversation we had and some of my pinterest inspo pictures and it was perfect. The rooms smelled amazing from the flowers and they were exactly the romantic vibe I was going for. Christine was absolutely wonderful to work with! I reached out to her after seeing her Instagram page, and she agreed to do the florals for my wedding even though my venue was a bit far away for her. She understood what I was looking for and provided an inspiration board that matched everything we discussed. Wow! Simply wow. Christine from A Modern Touch is absolutely amazing. I can’t believe how amazing my floral arrangements were for my wedding. I found her on Instagram and after speaking with her on the phone and her making me a vision board to get an idea of what to expect, I knew she saw my vision and immediately hired her. It was one the best decisions I made. She was great at communicating and her skill as a florist are unmatchable. Everyone was raving over the beautiful flower displays and the incredible centerpieces at our wedding. I even had guys telling me the flowers were fantastic! Christine did an INCREDIBLE job with the flowers for our wedding! I was absolutely stunned at how beautiful the flowers were. I do not know much about specific types of flowers so gave Christine a few relatively vague points about my general vision. I was not even THAT excited for the florals, but I was totally blown away when I saw them. In fact, the only two times I cried during the wedding day were my first look and when I saw the bouquets in the bridal suite. The ceremony arch was mor beautiful than I could have ever imagined. So many of our guests were talking about the flowers! In addition to the actual wedding day, Christine was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. After our initial discussion, she created a Powerpoint "inspirational board" using my inspo photos + photos of similar colors/flowers that she had previously done to guide our discussion + gauge what I wanted for the day. It seemed to me like she really went above and beyond throughout the process. She also found ways to repurpose flowers from the ceremony to the reception in order to save me money. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The proof is in the pudding! Our wedding florals were stunning, no detail too big or small went unnoticed by Christine and her team. We had a downtown wedding and venue, with tall ceiling heights. Christine had ideas based on our shared pinterest board and desired seating arrangements that were truly felt tailor fit to our vision and wedding. Every detail was *chefs kiss* perfect! Christine is not only a phenomenal florist, she's truly an excellent wedding florist. From our first meeting, she knew where to help put focus, energy, and essentially our florals to get the most from every piece. She was able to customize staircase greenery to fit our budget. We truly feel like we had an extraordinary value from her services. We always felt no question was too big or small. Not only did she help me find the most value in every piece, she helped me with my linens choices (black hanging/squarely folded napkins, to match black tapered candles & white florals) - it was all stunning! When we first contacted Christine, we had selected a venue that was perfect for us and had a general idea of what the wedding should look like. We wanted a classic, romantic vibe in our mansion venue, and were inspired by 1900s weddings, such as those in Downton Abbey. Admittedly we had no idea what florals to even consider, or even a color scheme. When we told Christine this idea in our initial consultation form, we could not even begin to imagine the exquisite design that she would put together and how instrumental should be in designing our wedding! Christine could not have been sweeter from the start, while also exuding a professionalism, confidence, and expertise that told us we had found the perfect florist. Christine was thrilled to be working with us and took a simple vibe to creata vision board that, when I opened it, actually brought tears to my eyes with how stunning it was. Christine had done research on the era, and even watched episodes of Downton to come up with a timelessly romantic design that perfectly captured our taste and transcended our wildest vision. That same vision was flawlessly executed on our wedding day and was a show-stopper in what was already an exquisite venue. Christine helped us to fully conceptualize the wedding and allowed us to place full faith in her and her work. She transformed our tables into beautiful scenes, complete with tall candelabras with roses and greenery wrapped around, and turned ornate fireplaces into works of art with her exquisite designs. My husband and I literally could not wait to see the florals in the space and could not wait to see the execution of the dining room she created. In the lead-up to the wedding, Christine was amazing in her communication. Each time we spoke, Christine was so kind and helpful, and expressed her own excitement for our wedding day. On the wedding day, Christine and her staff were truly amazing. When we arrived at the venue, all the florals were already up and my husband and I teared up at how stunningly beautiful it was. Christine greeted us with the biggest smile and a hug and was so helpful to us- even offering to help us with our personals and working with our photographer to provide extra florals for flats and other staged photos. Christine missed no detail, even adding greenery to areas where she knew we would be photographed and accented tables throughout - from adding a gorgeous floral to our card box, to beautiful, complimentary roses to our cocktail hour tables. Everything with Christine was “yes” and “absolutely” and she was happy to do whatever she could to make the day perfect. Most meaningful to us was a beautiful arch with drapery and yellow florals to honor our late grandmother- this was so breathtaking and sentimental, and was beloved by us and all of our guests. As if the above were not enough- every single guest commented on how beautiful the arrangements were and noticed even the individual florals selected. Everything was out of a movie or fairytale and just so perfectly elevated our wedding day. It is truly a testament to her work that we continue to look at photos of the gorgeous florals, as well as photos of us and our guests. Christine is the perfect florist- an amazing artist and exceptional person!!

A Modern Touch flowers is seriously amazing. Christine is a true artist--she arrived and setup my ceremony space and reception space so beautifully and above my expectations. My vision was more than matched, as she also incredibly re-purposed my ceremony flowers to be useful for the reception. Beyond her beautiful work, I appreciated mostly how reasonably priced and cost conscious Christine is. She gives her honest opinion about what is necessary vs. not, and doesn't try to upsell just for the sake. We were more than willing to pay for extra center pieces, and Christine went out of her way to discuss repurposing ceremony flowers to save us money. She was also extremely accommodating with several COVID reschedules, including even a venue change. Could not recommend A Modern Touch more and we are so grateful they were part of our special day.

Christine was AMAZING from the second I reached out to her about possibly being our wedding day florist. I messaged Christine for a quote and briefly explained my wedding day vision. She was quick to respond with a board of pictures of different choices that perfectly matched my vision along with prices. The pictures she sent me were so perfect that my husband and I booked with her right away. After booking with Christine, our wedding planning had many unplanned challenges including the COVID-19 pandemic, and the passing of my father and grandmother. We worked with A Modern Touch for our wedding on 10/9/2020 ,and we absolutely loved how the flowers turned out. Christine was incredibly easy to work with. After answering some initial questions, she sent us an inspiration board which made it so easy to visualize. She has impeccable taste and helped us create a floral design that fit perfectly with the rest of the colors/themes of the wedding. She was flexible in our last minute changes (adding a pergola the day before!), and still every detail came out perfectly. We highly recommend A Modern Touch to anybody in need of a florist.

Christine was amazing! She puts together the most beautiful arrangements at a very fair price. I am not very knowledgable about flowers, but Christine made the process very easy. I showed her a few pictures of bouquets that I liked and she was able to put something together to match the style. She goes above and beyond to make sure her brides are happy and really listens to what you want. The bridal arch she built and decorated was the talk of my wedding! The finished product was more than I could've imagined, everything looked amazing - creating the romantic, classic vibe I'd always dreamed of. Christine also found creative ways to reuse everything from flowers we used in the ceremony, to the bouquets all of my bridesmaids, mom and mother-in-laws were using. When I walked into our venue before our ceremony began, I was speechless. The decor looked exactly as I had imagined! Throughout the entire planning process, Christine was responsive, transparent, and honest. Knowing I had a strict budget to stay within, she recommended alternatives to my initial ideas, and provided photos so I could see what it would look like. I actually never even spoke to or met Christine (most people thought I was nuts for this!), and did it all via email -- and somehow she was still spot on with everything I wanted. She even had extra greenery and placed it on my cake table, where I initially didn't say I needed anything. I originally asked her to drop off my bouquet at the venue and I would pick it up - and when she knew I was still at the hotel, she went out of the way to bring it to me. I came to Christine almost a year before my wedding, with a very specific budget and not much of an idea of what I wanted for the flowers for my wedding. She sat down with my fiance and I and got to know us and tried to understand the style we were aiming for. From that, she developed such a lovely vision for our flowers on our wedding day that so beautifully complimented everyone's dresses and the venue space, and stayed completely respectful of our budget. As the wedding got closer, she was super flexible with additions and changes to the original proposal, and always quick to respond to emails and calls. She even traveled to see my reception and ceremony space a couple of months before the wedding to make sure we weren't missing anything and that everything would look perfect. On my wedding day, the bouquets, centerpieces, and all the little floral touches were just beautiful and brought the whole space together. Christine is an absolute gem to work with and her florals are just simply stunning! She is very willing to work with whatever budget (or budget restrictions), without making you feel like you must sacrifice on the aesthetics. We had our first meeting after several emails, in which I sent her some inspiration pictures. When we sat down, she had not only printed all of my images, but several of her own - incorporating my aesthetic and her expertise. Prior to my wedding day, she took the time to make an appointment at the venue with my wedding coordinator for a walk through, as this was her first time at this location. She is an absolute professional! Not only that, but she took the time to set up all my candles at each table (something the venue would usually do), so everything would -and did- look just perfect. And I cannot even begin to discuss how gorgeous the flowers were! My bouquet is now framed, as I could not part with it! The centerpieces I managed to grab and take home at the end of the night looked perfect for 2-3 weeks after - a true testament to the quality of craftsmanship and materials she works with. Christine is sincerely a pleasure to work with, and a top notch vendor!

I absolutely loved my flowers at my wedding. The bouquets, boutonnieres, church flowers, and the centerpieces were amazing. To this day, people are still commenting on how beautiful my flowers were. So many people took pictures of the centerpieces because they were just gorgeous. When my wedding coordinator showed me the room my jaw dropped to the floor. I honestly got goosebumps. Christine turned my dreams into a reality. It was everything I had envisioned and more. The whole planning process was amazing too. She put a vision board together and it really helped me gather all my ideas and make sure that everything was captured. I am honestly going to miss working with Christine.

Christine, from A Modern Touch, did an absolutely wonderful job for our wedding in April 2013! The flowers were gorgeous! I absolutely loved them, as did all my guests! Everyone couldn't stop talking about how great all the arrangements looked. She did everything in our wedding, from my and my bridal party's bouquets, to the boutonniers for the guys and dads, to the wrist corsages for the moms, to the arrangements for the ceremony, to the arrangements for the cake table, seating card table, gift card table, etc., to the centerpieces. Everything came out exactly how I wanted them to. And her prices were amazing!!! By far the best I found in the area! She even stayed through our wedding ceremony to make sure our ceremony arrangements were brought in to our venue and reused in places like the bathroom, on the sweetheart table, etc. She went above and beyond what I expected of her. Would highly recommend her for any and all events and we plan on using her again in the future!

Best decision I could have made for flowers! Christine was an absolute pleasure to work with from the first time I met her. She was very professional and does a great job creating one of a kind centerpieces to meet your needs. I loved all of her work from my bouquet to the centerpieces for the tables--- everything was exceptional. She was even able to get out of season flowers for my bouquet without a huge mark up. I would recommend her to anyone in the Philadelphia area who is looking for quality work at a reasonable price.

When we started planning the wedding, flowers were not high on my to-do list. I knew I wanted something that complemented our wedding colors, but I had no ideas about specifics even after looking at number pictures and wedding flower magazines. She will spend hours looking up additional images online. Not only did they do all the flowers for the wedding but they took the flowers home for storage & set them up for the after-wedding brunch.
