A Moveable Feast by O'Connor

Patrick is amazing!!! His staff is amazing!!! The food is amazing!!! So happy we found these guys. The wedding was made memorable by A Moveable Feast!!!

Honestly, you have to take the good with the bad. The food was excellent, and the price was the best in the area, but the communication was very poor, especially at the very end/ during the event, right when it really mattered. We pushed our ceremony back an hour and a half do to weather, and they were very understanding and totally managed to adapt to the new schedule, which is no small feat. The staff were kind and professional. They made some questionable decisions, though, in terms of where they set everything up, which was frustrating because I sent them a floor plan (and even offered to set up their tables) and asked them multiple times to confirm. It really comes down to the person in charge, who really ought to hire someone to do the administrative work, I had to eventually send on email for every question since he wouldn't answer more than one part of an email at any given time. I could go on, but essentially, their lack of organization meant that I had a lot more stress and work on my wedding day than I would have liked. One of the staff snapped at us a bit that we didn't have a wedding co-ordinator, but I made sure to send along all pertinent details, and I feel bad for the staff that those details were not shared with them.

A Moveable Feast by O'Connor knocked it out of the park as our wedding caterer! From planning to implementation, Patrick was really easy to work with; knowledgable, flexible and the utmost professional with a great sense of humor to boot. His staff was extremely skilled, courteous and went out of their way to make us feel special on our wedding day. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests were impressed with it all. I would not hesitate to use A Moveable Feast at our next function and highly recommend!

I have so many wonderful things to say about A Moveable Feast by O'Connors! When we started planning our wedding (which we did living in Las Vegas, and the wedding being held in upstate New York) we knew that the food was very important, as my husband and both of his brothers are chefs. From day one, A Moveable Feast by O'Connors was very responsive to emails and quickly got us a quote. We had special requests, such as, the bbq be done on a wood fired grill and that we wanted gold plate chargers, and each of these things were not a problem. I was able to fly out to the east coast for a tasting at their location and they truly did a great job. I was able to select linens and napkins (all provided) and see photos. The food was delicious and all of our questions were answered and notes were taken when we wanted something done differently. For example, I asked if it was possible to do green ramekins for the baked beans, (instead of standard red or blue) and they suggested instead of packaged toilettes after the bbq meal, to have hot towels instead! So nice! On the wedding day, the food was on time and was absolutely amazing! The beer and wine choices that they helped us select for the bar were a big hit. And the staff of A Moveable Feast by O'Connors was PERFECT. I have never seen such amazing service at a wedding, everyone was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that every, single guest was taken care of. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. The only negative thing I have to say was regarding our raw bar. We decided on the raw bar as an extra item to be served at cocktail hour, for that extra wow factor. This was a very large expense in our food budget, and unfortunately, the presentation was not very nice. I had asked to see photos prior, but none were available. That is probably my biggest regret, as it was more expensive than our meal itself. If you are able to book A Moveable Feast by O'Connors, I really recommend them wholeheartedly!!!
