She was extremely helpful with the whole process and I am beyond grateful for her! She shared ideas and she made our wedding the most beautiful day ever!! The arrangements were breathtaking, everything was perfect and magical! Everyone could not stop talking about how beautiful the flowers were! I am so thankful to have had Heather there through the entire experience, not to mention she is just the sweetest and such a pleasure to work with! We could not be happier with how everything turned out! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Heather took time to connect with us by phone, shared a very detailed proposal (cognizant of our vision and price point), and throughout the whole process, took time to understand exactly what we wanted and make sure we felt comfortable that her vision matched our own. On the actual wedding day, Heather executed perfectly. Everything was beautiful. It was as if she’d read our minds on everything we may have thought but didn’t communicate. The bouquets matched our bridal party dresses perfectly. The table we sat at had a little more floral pizzazz than other tables, exactly as we hoped. It was about 10 degrees hotter than normal on our wedding day (a ~92 degree very humid day!) and Heather was able to preserve our flowers, delivering everything at the perfect time to ensure they would stay fresh for each portion of our wedding day. Last but certainly not least - Heather’s presence was wonderful throughout our entire planning process and wedding day. She projects calm and expertise. She delivers on all her promises and more. She’s a good communicator, clear about exactly what we can expect from her. She’s as present on your wedding day as you want her to be - for us, she was like the unseen angel helper. She came in while we were getting ready to drop bouquets and say hi, but was otherwise seen only through her beautiful flowers. Despite our limited experience and direction with flowers, she was remarkably able to make it feel like us. She’s great at what she does! I will recommend her to everyone I know getting married in the area. If we were to go back, we’d choose Heather and A Night in Bloom again.

since I am a visual person it really helped for me to see the vision in photos. She remained within my budget and brought the bouquets, corsage, and boutonnieres to my room at the venue, everything organized and beautifully labeled. If you want ease and kindness throughout your wedding planning process (who doesn't??) choose Heather and Night in Bloom :-)

Heather did an amazing job making suggestions on flowers that would be available during the time of our wedding in August and she really helped me stay around our budget! She gave me multiple options to choose from with different ranges that worked for me! Her husband also has props which they rent and they made us a beautiful seating chart frame with all the guests printed names on it! We even had an issue with the arch i brought Because the flowers were not holding to it, Heather and her team somehow worked their magic and got it to work! I was Able to put my full trust in her in making everything look magical and her team exceeded my expectations.

As if this wasn't enough, I had gotten my now husband a watch as a wedding gift. It had too many links and he wouldn't have been able to wear it if Heather's husband hand't gone and found a tiny screw driver to be able to fix it for him! Heather was so knowledgeable about the flowers too, she had the bridesmaid's bouquets timed perfectly to be fully opened just before the ceremony and they were. I can't say enough good things about A Night in Bloom. They were my favorite vendor of the whole wedding process, hands down.

I only spoke with Heather over the phone and email prior to the wedding. And day of the wedding it was great to meet her and see all of the gorgeous flowers her team put together. I'd never heard of a business model in which the bride, groom, etc. are allowed to select the degree to which they will have a DIY wedding -- until A Night in Bloom. You will not find better florists anywhere.

I sent her inspirational photos from Pinterest as well as her consultation sheet filled out expressing I was interested in her “DIY Option” and had a “$800-$1000 budget”. I have never been married before and wasn’t exactly sure how much to budget toward flowers. In my e-mail I wrote, “I am paying 100% for my own wedding. I like elegant and simple. All white. I love hydrangeas. Probably about 15 tables. I would love to create something similar to this at a price point that works for me. Heather’s assistant Jacklyn’s response was…“I have looked over your consultation worksheet and fully understand that you will be paying for your florals on your own. After speaking with Heather we unfortunately are not sure that we would be able to help you create the inspiration photos within your budget. Since hydrangeas are such a finicky flower to work with we do not typically sell it to our DIY couples. With your budget you would fall into our DIY category. This style of centerpiece for 15 tables would probably eat up most of, if not all, of your budget not including personal flowers, ceremony decor, and cocktail hour. I am so sorry that we cannot be more help to you. Best of luck with the rest of your planning!” I was confused and frustrated by their lack of assistance and immediacy in writing me off as a new customer. I called to be certain that they weren’t snubbing me because of a misunderstanding. I spoke to Heather directly and she expressed she ONLY does Hydrangeas for full-service weddings. She said, “Most weddings I work with in the Hudson Valley range from $3500-$5000 and I am not able to help you. She condescendingly recommended I go with the receptions in-house florist to which I replied “They do not have one.” I asked her, “Why would you pawn me off to another business instead of trying to help me?” She said, “We do not like to waste your time.” When I asked her “Why she didn’t offer another type of flower or why couldn’t do her “DIY Option” with some of her ideas she said, “I do not have to justify why I do what I do to you.” At this point I was angry and could read in-between the lines that I wasn’t a wealthy enough client for her. Infuriated I asked, “Why are you so unhelpful and not willing to work with me to understand different types of flowers and price points that work for both of us!?!? And she said, “Because I wouldn’t want to work with someone like you! Most women are happy about their big day not nasty!” To which I hung up the phone. I was expecting a professional who helps to guide someone through an experience to make it memorable. People don't come to you to learn about flowers and determine a budget to only be told to go somewhere else via your first email! Shame on you! While you may offer beautiful flowers you leave a lot to desired when it comes to customer service. If you are looking for a positive and collaborative experience, to learn about floral options, identify your style, work with pricing to set a realistic budget, and to create something similar to your dream, please look elsewhere.

Heather and her production assistants were fantastic to work with and we really appreciated both the artistry and professionalism we experienced through every meeting, call, and email. The day of, the florals exceeded every expectation we had. Even the cocktail tables we had forgotten existed hadn’t been overlooked by Heather and her team! All the table arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres lasted well through the night.

xpertly crafted bridal party bouquets, boutinneirs for the guys, corsages for parents, simple yet lush aisle decor (which was able to be repurposed as cocktail hour decor), and stunning reception centerpieces and cake flowers for our wedding at Bear Mountain Inn. I had somewhat of a vision of what I wanted our wedding flowers to look like (earthy, rustic, seasonal, romantic, incorporating herbs) and Heather absolutely nailed it, while keeping everything within our budget. Our guests were stunned by our table centerpieces and were delighted to take them home for themselves afterwards. Aside from the beauty they provided on the day, the customer service of A Night in Bloom is top notch. They provide you with numerous sample estimates via Google Docs so you can see and make changes (within reason and not going under your predetermined minimum order amount) to your order during the planning process, which I very much appreciated. While they do get quite busy during prime wedding season (summer, early fall), a member of their staff was always prompt with email responses and I never felt like I got lost in the shuffle. I would highly recommend Heather and A Night in Bloom for beautiful, creative (and affordable) flowers and excellent customer service for your wedding day.

She found anemones for my centerpieces in the middle of July. She flawlessly recreated any crazy pinterest photo I showed her, including a gorgeous floral ceremony arch that she brilliantly suggested suspending from the trees (!!!) at our venue. And she did all this while being very mindful of our budget and showing us a variety of options that could work in our price range. I really wanted my bridesmaids to DIY their own bouquets (I thought those photos would be more fun than makeup photos!). A Night in Bloom supplied a generous amount and wide variety of flowers for the DIY bouquets at a very fair price. Heather took time out of her very busy morning setting up for the ceremony and reception to spend time with the bridal party and do a tutorial so each bridesmaid felt confident constructing her own bouquet. My mom, my mother-in-law, and my bridesmaids loved hanging out with Heather just as much as they loved the gorgeous flowers!! I still get misty eyed thinking about my bouquet and that lovely floral arch. Working with Heather and her team is a total pleasure from start to finish. Book her asap!

Heather and Adrienne provided me multiple options for each floral element of my big day including images of what the final product would look like which helped so much. It was truly a collaborative effort. They were quick to tell me if a flower I requested was too expensive and provided a number of beautiful, more affordable options. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away with the quality of the final products. Each piece perfectly matched the feel of the wedding and was delivered on time and in perfect condition.

As for flowers, we didn’t have our hearts set on any particular type, so we gave Heather full reign to create something beautiful that complimented our color scheme, rustic-woodland venue and our budget. The outcome was absolutely stunning! All of the pieces were absolutely beautiful and held up really well for the duration of the festivities. This was serious quality work. The flowers really stand out when looking at photographs and definitely helped set the stage for our wedding day. Thanks so much Heather!

She didn't try to sell us on extras when it was clear our floral budget was small and she was great about using images via Pinterest and e-mail to confirm that she and I were on the same page. Heather and I didn't communicate overly much after our initial meeting and the sharing of my Pinterest page, which to me was a good sign. We went back and forth on a few items that needed tweaking or clarification, but she was always understanding of my concerns and questions and she provided some great ideas when I was stuck. She takes great pride in her work and made me feel important. Our flowers were beautiful. We had asked for something slightly wild and natural looking, with deep jewel tones. We wanted a nice mix of textures and colors. There were loose flowers on the cake and cocktail tables, dinner table centerpieces, simple bouquets for the girls and boutonnieres for the guys, and my bouquet. The flowers arrived on time, fresh and perfect. The overall look was exactly what we had hoped for and the arrangements were stunning. My bouquet was especially beautiful. Heather didn't bat an eye, she instantly worked in a thistle for him and still made everything look soft, romantic and fun! I highly recommend working with this florist. She was so easy to work with and tackles each project as a fun new challenge. I doubt she'd let you get away with boring flowers!
