Jesse and her husband are wonderful musicians and even better people! We interacted with Jesse throughout the planning process and she was always extremely accommodating and quick to respond. I can honestly say she was the nicest person I dealt with throughout. She helped us choose a song for my walk down the aisle and was honest about what were better choices. They ended up learning a "new" song for it and it was such a lovely moment. We had a payment mix up on wedding day and they proactively reached out to us to point it out and fix it. It was so refreshing to work with people so honest especially with the inevitable stress of the event. They live decently far from us and really prioritized returning extra payment in a quick fashion. I cannot express how much I appreciated everything they did. I would highly recommend hiring them!

A Note of Elegance is a classical entertainment company from Binghamton, NY, looking to add to the magic of your wedding day. Jesse Parker, founder and instrumentalist of great acclaim, has performed at several weddings and proposals. Her husband, Kurtis Parker, is also available to play if you want a duo. This pair is equipped with degrees in music and performance. Together, they have performed with the Binghamton Philharmonic, the Orchestra of Northern New York, the Adrian Symphony Orchestra, the Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra, and the Lima Symphony Orchestra.

Hi there! I'm Jesse Erin Parker and I'm the lead planner and proprietress for A Note of Elegance!
I started A Note of Elegance in 2013 after graduating from the Crane School of Music with a degree in violin performance.
Nothing makes me happier than celebrating love and music! A Note of Elegance began with an emphasis on performing at weddings providing music for clients during their ceremonies and cocktail hours.
In 2015, I got engaged to the love of my life and since then, Kurtis and I have been performing at events together as a duo!
Over the years I began helping clients with different aspects of event planning in many capacities including weddings, charity events, and recitals. I'm naturally a detail-oriented person and decided I wanted to take the next step and officially turn to the planning side of events in addition to the musical aspects.
I work hard to make sure that I stay up on current trends and always continue learning. As a result of that, I've recently graduated from the QC Event School as a certified event and wedding planner. I pride myself on turning dreams into realities and I don't stop until my clients receive the fairytale they deserve!
I live in Binghamton, NY with my wonderful husband, our toy poodle Jack, and two cats Smokey and Layla.
In my free time I enjoy reading, baking, and traveling!
I firmly believe that life is better when you love what you do and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to be able to do that.
In my opinion, events are chances to create exquisite memories and moments that last forever. So, in the words of Audrey Hepburn, "I believe, every day, you should have at least one exquisite moment."

entire process. Kurtis played the violin at our ceremony and an electric violin at cocktail hour! He learned a new song for the recessional that had sheet music and then another for the processional that had no sheet music...he learned that song by ear!!! It took time and effort to do this and they did not upcharge me for this additional request. The price they quoted was beyond reasonable, especially for the attention to detail and talent that they bring. I am so happy to have reached out to Jesse and been connected to their business for our wedding. What wonderful people with an incredible business!! She has a huge repertoire of all sorts of different music and is sure to already know something that you would love to have as part of your ceremony. For our ceremony, she played music ranging from classical to pop love songs to the Legend of Zelda! She really tailored the playlist to exactly what we wanted for our wedding. And she plays so beautifully!! As a violinist myself, I really appreciated her talent. Walking down the aisle after we were married to Fly Me to the Moon being played on the violin was truly a magical moment. We are so grateful to Jesse for helping make our wedding a fairytale!! Kurtis is so talented and sweet, and played all of the songs that we chose perfectly. They offer a wide variety of songs to choose from and are always willing to learn new songs as well! They were so understanding and patient with us while we determined what our "new" wedding would look like, and were so accommodating with song requests, questions, etc. They made the ceremony feel as official and elegant as we could have ever hoped considering the changes to venue, guest list, decorations, and attire (masks all around!). Though it was not the wedding day we had originally envisioned, Jesse and Kurtis's playing provided the beauty and gravitas the day deserved. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with them! Thank you, Jesse and Kurtis!

She is a consummate musician who stepped right in with a musician she had never met of the wedding and provided the highest quality of emotional and artistic elegance to our big day.

I contacted Jesse late in the game as we had changed venues and moved to a church ceremony and we wanted a violinist over the organ. She was booked on our wedding date, but instead...
of passing us along, she worked to see if her husband was available. Unfortunately, he was also booked, but she had a third option! Enter Erika. Erika was beyond amazing! She was already set up and ready to go when I arrived at the church, and she was legit excited to be there, telling me that she couldn't wait to play for us as our wedding was Beauty and the Beast theme and we'd be leaving the church to Tale as Old as Time. She played like a true artist, and had me in tears before the bridal party even entered. There was a minor lag because I forgot to tell her we had decided to have the parent's walk down the aisle before the party, but she worked on her feet and played a song of her own choosing and it worked perfectly! When she played Hallelujah, I practically couldn't see through my tears. When she played "Perfect" by Ed Sheerin while Tricia walked down the aisle, I could barely contain myself. I'll never forget what Jesse and Erika were able to do for me. I highly suggest you consider A Note of Elegance for your event! Top notch! So grateful.

nd she knocked it out of the park! All of our guests were so moved by her music and skills. We received multiple compliments!! As I walked down the aisle with my Dad, the sound of her playing Imagine by John Lennon brought me to tears. It was simply stunning. Jesse learned 3 new songs just for our ceremony in only a few weeks. She played Harvest Moon by Neil Young, Magic by Cold Play and the song I walked down the aisle to. It was simply magical.
Not only is she just an exceptional violinist, but she truly was one of my most favorite vendors to work with! She was on top of everything and SO RESPONSIVE and organized! Not to mention she is just a sweetheart. She and I communicated via email about my song requests for our processional and recessional and she didn't have any issues with my special requests. In addition, I love that she uses Venmo for easy payment! On the day of the wedding she was early and looked so polished and beautiful. I could go on and on!
Simply put, Jesse is the best. Book her for your wedding! She is the stuff of wedding dreams :)
