A Perfect Paradise Wedding

uldn't have been more grateful for her. I heard horror stories from friends about how awful moving their wedding was, but with Kelly, it literally couldn't have been easier. I sent one email to her and it was done, we were moved to 2021, totally drama-free! It can be so hard to envision how everything can come together for a wedding especially when you haven't been to the venue or met any of the vendors, so I just trusted her and it was genuinely the best day ever. Everything looked beyond beautiful, I wasn't stressed at all. I also got tons of compliments on the vendors that she recommended on the day of. Everyone was amazing and the day was just perfect! Thank you, Kelly!!!

le to get the location we wanted Honua Kai Lani estate. Kelly was prepared she went over our proposal (my husband loved that) with us and gave us all of our options. From the minuet we met until the day of the wedding everything was smooth and stress free. Kelly made my wedding perfect and smooth no stress before or on the day of the wedding. I am grateful that I could find such a fantastic person to handle my wedding.

ng & working with a Perfect Paradise Wedding. I first found & fell in love with Kukahiko Estate & found a couple wedding planners who worked with this estate. Kelly was the first to respond back and I was a bit pressed on time so I hired Kelly who responded quickly & had a friendly attitude. We talked about all details and she remained flexible the entire way through. We had the ceremony site for a couple hrs, enough time to have the ceremony and pictures done. I had even sought out my own photographer prior to hiring Kelly & she was gracious enough to give us credit back for the photographer charge in the basic package. I didn't feel it would be right to have done all the work to find my own photographer (fell in love with his work online before finding the coordinator) & then have the coordinator upcharge me the 20% (standard fee). So I went with Kelly for flexibility sake, thinking all coordinators do the same job. I had difficulties with Kelly as we got closer to the wedding, which added some stress to the wedding planning. I asked a lot of questions since neither of us had been married before or been to Maui, some related to the wedding and some related to Maui. Aren't planners to act as locals to provide answers to client questions? At first, Kelly responded in a timely manner, then she started to ignore some emails and questions which led me to wonder if she got my email at all. I had questions about the bridal guest room, the amenities inside & the size. I asked for pictures & she couldn't provide. Which to this day, I don't understand why since it is a venue you are trying to sell for use. It could only be to your benefit to have pictures available for clients to better understand the layout of the property. She only provided photos of the outside justifying the main reason I am renting the estate for. Yes I agree however I was also interested in the bridal rm accomodations. The estate was lovely & I'm still glad I had my ceremony here. However, at the rehearsal, I felt rushed through the rehearsal & we had talked about what side I would stand on depending on the wind. Then on the wedding day, Kelly told me right before I was to walk out that they changed sides. I had planned to have my side bun do based on the side we stood on at the rehersal. That is when Kelly rudely said "Well I told you yesterday to stand on the other side". I was appauled. Why would I have my hair done the way I did if I had known that?!?! It was untrue but I wasn't going go Bridezilla on her right before I walked out so I disagreed and let it slide. Also, during the rehearsal she made a couple suggestions that made no sense & when we disagreed, she didn't seem understanding to why it did not make sense. but of course she went along with what we said. In the end, we customize the ceremony the way we wanted it and Kelly was more than flexible, which we were happy about. However, I could have done w/out the attitude & poor cust service.

time was slow at times, but in hindsight, I understand why some of those things weren't red flag priority to get back to me. Island time is also a factor. Overall, I would recommend Kelly. She's great at what she does and super sweet. She'll get the job done!

eturned my calls and emails until Kelly came along. She would always respond to me the same day, and was on top of every little detail. She kept everything on file, so there was no need to repeat information or go over things twice. She is just fantastic to work with and has been in the event planning business for a long time.

e aware that anything you add on to your package there will be a 20% charge for her doing it for you but I think that is the norm.
