A Petal Pusher

Things were a bit rough at the start, it took us 2 hours to decide upon the styles we wanted for the chapel and our bouquets. Once we stopped using the books (which are old) and started designing our own arrangements things went much more smoothly. Ann even came to the chapel where we were having the wedding to make sure our arrangements would work in the space (she also did the same for our reception hall). They were very flexible about last minute additions (extra boutonnieres). In the end I was very happy with the flowers provided at my wedding. The junior bridesmaids had very sweet bouquets of purple roses, the bridesmaids had 'miss america' style flowers with a beautiful combination of pink, purple, and green flowers, and they even managed to put gardenias in my bouquet while still giving me the ribbon wrapped handle I wanted (instead of a reservoir style bouquet). They also made a gorgeous memorial arrangement with orchids, gardenias, roses, and lily of the valley for my grandmothers.

I loved my bouquets. I thought they were really pretty and suited my tastes.;The owner that runs the store wasn't creative and only had old books to look at. I didn't want the common roses or lilies. Luckily my aunt is a floral judge and she was able to work with the designer to come up with the bouquets. The altar flowers weren't exactly what we wanted so my aunt ended up fixing them before the ceremony.
