We were incredibly pleased with our wedding cake from A Piece of Cake. Cyndi was very easy to work with and was responsive to any questions we had throughout the process. We loved their system for wedding cake tasting- we were able to select a variety of cake and filling flavors to take home, then we had a fun evening trying different combinations together until we found the pairings we liked best. They customized the cake exactly to our specifications and did a great job recreating a cake design I had seen online. So many guests told us after the wedding how delicious the cake was and we couldn't agree more! We would highly recommend A Piece of Cake to others for future weddings and events.

We were so impressed with Cyndi and her staff. They were perfect to work with and designed a nautical display for us. The cupcakes were so good and they have a lot of flavors and options to offer. Highly recommend!

When I say people were blown away by our cake…words cannot describe the piece of art that Cyndi made for our wedding! I wish I could attach a picture. It was a gingerbread Christmas theme tiered cake. It was unique and delicious. I might be biased but it was the best wedding cake I’ve ever seen. Plus all the other desserts - cannolis, cupcakes, cookies, cheesecakes!!! Cyndi is amazing!

We came in last minute due to our venue being cancelled. We needed a cake for our Cape May beach wedding within 4 days. They were so kind to help us out last minute! Everyone at our wedding said it was the best cake they ever had!! The cake was decorated so beautifully. It was so delicious too ! Definitely recommend, if we lived closer we would be regular customers!

Cyndi and the team at A Piece of Cake delivered a delicious and gorgeous dessert experience for our wedding at The Southern Mansion in Cape May, NJ. The entire process was very professional, beginning with our tasting. We were able to sample countless combinations of cake and frosting flavors to determine what we wanted for a small wedding cake. For guest desserts, we wanted to offer a sampling of mini desserts honoring our southern and northern heritage and Cyndi delivered. We ended up with a great assortment, highlights being the mini cannolis, key lime pies, and strawberry shooters. Everything was delicious, and the presentation they set up was beautiful. The cake was stunning, decorated exactly to our specifications, and made for beautiful photo ops. We couldn't have been happier with A Piece of Cake and would highly recommend for anyone hosting an event in the area.

We absolutely adored working with Cyndi and the crew at A Piece of Cake Bakery for our wedding. The flavors and icing were delicious, and Cyndi was super helpful when we were trying to figure out how many cupcakes we should get with our adorable funfetti cutting cake. We were a bit worried working remotely with a baker (as we’re not from the Cape May region), but we were absolutely blown away by the results and couldn’t be happier. Our only regret is that we wish we could have had more time to eat our cupcakes during the wedding, because our guests raved about them!

We knew we wanted Cyndi in charge of our Wedding desserts from the minute we walked in. You can instantly feel how much she loves her bakery business. We were so happy. Our guests raved about the dessert spread. They loved the variety and options and the whole display was wonderful. She had a list of nearly 40 options of mini desserts. She guided us in the more popular choices. We narrowed it down to 8 varieties for 130 people. I am sure she also would have created a beautiful wedding cake, but we wanted to eschew a traditional cake for a dessert bar. Piece of Cake gets 10 thumbs up from us. They made our wedding day easy and delicious. They contacted the wedding coordinator and set up the entire spread and the rented display stands. Cyndi is a true pro.

Cyndi is truly an artist and a pleasure to work with! Our guests raved about the delicious cupcakes and strawberries and cream that she provided, and I am still in awe of her beautiful presentation. Cyndi and her crew are a must if you are looking for a wedding cake in the Cape May area!

Cyndi was so nice, and I really appreciated working with someone who had tons of experience. She took our funfetti wedding cake to the next level. The cake didn't exactly look how I'd wanted, but we got lots of compliments on the design regardless, and even more on the flavor! I had several guests tell me it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had!

We would highly recommend A Piece of Cake for wedding cakes and desserts. We ended up going with a small cake for us and requested different flavored cupcakes, cheesecake squares, and strawberry and cream “shooters” for dessert. It all looked beautiful, but more importantly, it tasted great. Cyndi was wonderful to work with and made helpful recommendations as we were trying to decide between desserts.

We hired A Piece of Cake for our November Cape May wedding. You can truly see how much passion Cyndi puts into her work. She is very kind, friendly and makes you a priority whenever you speak with her. We had a small 2 tier wedding cake, 3 different cupcake options and some other pieces of dessert for a little variety. Cyndi was so helpful guiding me what to choose for the display. I was very indecisive and she was able to chat with me to help me piece it all together. Our dessert table looked unbelievable, we had so many compliments on the display and the quality of desserts! Thank you so much Cyndi, you were a pleasure to work with!

A Piece of Cake made my wedding cake. They went above and beyond for my taste testing that I knew they were going to do the same for my big day. My cake was exactly what I wanted, beautifully simple & classic as well as DELICIOUS. So happy I chose them!

My wedding was just on October 6th and we used A Piece of Cake for our cake and cupcakes. We had seen them at a bridal show back in the spring, and everything we tasted was delicious and beautiful, but at the time we just weren't sure. Later, I found out that my now sister in law had used them before for some cakes she had for her daughter's birthday. Remembering how good that I was, I knew I had to book. We booked for a small 6 inch cake or just the top tier, and then a bunch of cup cakes. Everything was gorgeous. I planned everything from here in Pennsylvania despite getting married at the shore so I never got to meet anyone in person but all of my phone interactions made me feel completely comfortable and like I was talking to a real person instead of someone trying to fluff me up. This made me feel so ease and glad I had chosen them. Our display was absolutely beautiful. Our cake was blue icing with some fondant/sugar/gum paste/something type of sea shells, starfish, and sand dollars accents. With a graham cracker crumble to mimic sand. It looked gorgeous. Vanilla with raspberry. My husband and I smashed cake in each other's faces, so but as soon as we got an actual bite we couldn't stop saying how good it was. Everyone loved the cupcakes so much people were eating them before we cut the cake because they were too irresistible. WE had several flavors all with similar decorations. I am not usually someone who likes cake, I usually prefer icing but I LOVE my wedding cake I am actually looking forward to eating that frozen slice at our anniversary (if I don't sneak it before then). If you have any doubts about the flavor and presentation absolutely go with A Piece of Cake and you will be in great hands!

We had our wedding at the Grand Hotel in Cape May, NJ, on July 7, 2018. We looked through a list of bakers for our desserts, and got in touch with Cyndi from A Piece of Cake. Some people put off a good vibe when you interact with them prior to meeting them, and Cyndi is no exception. We settled on a date for the tasting, and finally got to meet her in person. She is kind and friendly, and a knowledgeable and experienced baker. We settled on an assortment of desserts after tasting a few of the cupcakes and fillings. When the big day came, we saw the dessert table, and were amazed at how beautifully they were displayed. Everything was decorated perfectly and was delicious, to boot. We would highly recommend A Piece of Cake for your baking needs!

I wish I saved more of my wedding cake because it was SO good and gone within minutes. Cyndi makes the BEST cakes and desserts. She was also AWESOME to work with - she has such a passion for baking and events and it really shows through in her work. She set everything up prior to the wedding and it was beautifully displayed. We had cookies, cannolis, cupcakes, brownies, cheesecake bites, and a wedding cake! Everything was a huge hit and tasted great. We will absolutely be going back every anniversary to get a small cake every year.

Cyndi was so easy to work with. She was very reliable and always responded quickly. She made the process of wedding planning out of state stress free. She has a great personality and her cupcakes are fantastic. I highly recommend stopping in and trying as many as possible.

We used A Piece of Cake for our wedding cake and it was a great choice! We wanted a semi-naked three tiered cake which looked beautiful! The owner Cindy said they could do a different flavor and filling in each layer at no additional cost and sat with us to help us get through the tasting. The day of the cake was delicious and moist, and we enjoyed every bite it the next day as well! The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars was because I thought they could have been a little more responsive with emails but I know it’s a small business and they do SO SO many events and overall we were very happy with how everything turned out! It was a pleasure working with Cyndi and A Piece of Cake bakery! Cyndi went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding cake was exactly as we had imagined it. At our cake tasting, she thoroughly went over every option to help us make the perfect selection. She allowed us to choose 4 different flavors/icings for each tier of our cake, which helped add a variety for our guests. The cake was absolutely delicious and we are excited to go back and purchase another for our 1 year anniversary. Overall we were really impressed with how amazing our beach wedding cake turned out - it definitely surpassed our expectations! We recommend A Piece of Cake bakery for all of your dessert needs!

Cyndi and her staff were absolutely amazing! We traveled from TN to get married in NJ and they even set up a cake tasting for us 6 days before we got married. They were so nice and accomadating to us, not to mention our cake and cupcakes were absolute perfection!! There aren’t enough words for how truly awesome it was to work with them! I highly recommend!!!

A Piece of Cake did a fantastic job with our wedding dessert display! We were not looking for a traditional, large wedding cake because we wanted options. Cyndi and her team made delicious cupcakes, cookies, cheesecakes, shooters and more! The variety was endless and everything tasted SO good! The display of the desserts was just as good as the taste. I loved working with the team at A Piece of Cake. They are extremely friendly, down to earth, and they were so fun and easy to plan with. I chose to do a small single tier cake and then have several different flavored cupcakes, and they did a fabulous job of making my vision come to life. Not only was everything beautiful, but it all tasted great too! Many of my guests commented or asked about where the cupcakes were from. They know how to treat their customers, too. After going to do a tasting with my mom and fiance and deciding that we loved them, we wanted to buy some cupcakes to take home for our families to try. They ended up giving us half a dozen free cupcakes. Just such a sweet touch of truly top notch customer service.

Cyndi made a huge desert table for our wedding on Memorial Day weekend! Our guests can't stop raving about all the different flavors of cupcake they loved! The presentation and design of all the deserts were beautiful as well as moist, soft and so flavorful! Cyndi helped us stay in budget and made our dreams come true!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH

We found piece of cake as a recommendation from our photographers and we are so glad we did. Cyndi was a pleasure to work with and was so helpful in us deciding our cake choices. We were able to take home 12 cupcakes to taste different flavors and just come back and tell her what we liked. We gave her and idea of what we wanted our cake to look like and she made it come to life. My cake was more beautiful than I could've imgained. I hadn't seen it until the day of the wedding when we arrived at the reception and I was blown away. I wish we could've had more that night because it was so delicious.

Cyndi and Denise did a fantastic job with our wedding cake! We were sticker shocked with some price quotes we were getting from some other bakeries so we were a little nervous at the significant price difference, but these ladies could easily charge more for their wonderful work and it still be worth it. Their red velvet flavor is amazing and our guests are still talking about them. The cake itself was absolutely beautiful. We asked for a grape vine around the front of the cake and it was so beautifully done it looked real. I would strongly recommend this bakery and we can't wait to stop by again for some cupcakes. :)

Their cake is amazing, but they are...unpolished. It was kind of a nightmare to talk to them. They were pretty rude. But the price was right, the cake looked exactly how we imagined it would and again, the cake was out of this world.

I told them what type of cake I wanted and they could not have made it any more perfect. We had three layers each with a different flavor. The almond flavor was sooooooooo good.
