A Piece of Cake Event Planning

We were super impressed with A Piece of Cake Event Planning, specifically our planner, Payton and her day-of coordination services during our wedding this past weekend. Throughout the weeks leading up to our wedding, she was extremely communicative, pleasant and helpful, coordinating with vendors on our behalf while also asking important questions to ensure we had covered all of our bases. From leading our rehearsal to running around and managing the event day-of, everything went so smoothly and looked so beautiful and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We truly loved working with her and are so excited for future APOC clients who will benefit from her support as well!

I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to do one after going through my wedding with APOC event planning. Kate was the biggest disappointment that I have ever experienced with a wedding planner. In our meetings during the months before the wedding, she said she “would take care of everything”, but she chose to wait until the week of the wedding to harass us and all of our vendors. She caused nothing but frazzle and chaos. We kept hoping that she would rise to the occasion and be helpful on the wedding day, but yet another huge disappointment. She constantly undermined vendors and none of them liked working with her (many of them told us so). Despite Kate’s rudeness and incompetence throughout the whole process, my wedding was wonderful thanks to efforts from family members, friends, and excellent vendors.

Kate was extremely quick to respond to my inquiry about their services and everything they provided! I had Becky from her team do my event and she was absolutely amazing. I did the "Friend of the Bride" package where she helped implement a timeline and events the day of, but she truly did way more than that! She answered every question I had no matter how small, and was always so willing to help in any capacity with vendor recommendations and decor help. From our emails back and forth, our meeting before the wedding, and our day of she was FLAWLESS! I would think of something the day of and she either had already taken care of it or was extremely accommodating to make it happen! Love love loved working with this company!!

The best decision that you can make for your event is to hire Kate Pararo and her staff at A Piece of Cake Event Planning. Specifically, her organizational skills, sense of calm, attention to detail, feedback, ability to multitask, coordinate with vendors, and help with family made me value her above all else. I am not kidding when I say I don’t know what I would have done without her. She’s amazing and her staff is amazing. Thank you, Kate.
