I can not say enough wonderful things about Gay, Robert, and the rest of the team at A Pimento! They created a custom, locally-sourced, menu that had our guests amazed throughout the evening! From the very beginning, they were so responsive and helpful, and worked tirelessly to make our small wedding special, and most importantly, safe within the current COVID-19 guidelines. Working with A Pimento was truly a pleasure and they made the day completely stress-free and perfect!

When we started wedding planning I had a particular caterer in mind but our venue mentioned that they'd recently had a great experience with A Pimento so we met with them. They are great. I am not a detail oriented person and had no real vision of what to serve or how I wanted it to look. Robert was so perfect for us because he has style and vision for days! He listened to us carefully, took it all in and came back to us with the perfect menu. The food was exquisite and everyone raved about it afterward. Robert also went with us to pick out linens, table settings, etc and was so helpful to me when I got overwhelmed or distracted during the process. The settings we ended up with were classic, classy, beautiful and still a little funky. This is a really fantastic organization. Everyone we met from the owner to the service staff went above and beyond to make the day perfect. I even felt like I had my own personal server during the cocktail hour that kept my glass filled and brought me plenty of appetizers. I hear all the time about bride's who don't get to eat all night but these folks knew just how to handle that. My husband and I would highly recommend them. And the cheese plate!!!

Robert and gay and the A pimento team were better then we could have imagined. Look no further they are the best. All our guests are still talking about the food 2 monthes later. Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous. It was magical and delicious.

Robert and the A Pimento Team were amazing. They transformed our outdoor wedding into a magazine quality event. My husband and I could not be happier with the food, the decor, and the professionalism of the team. Everyone loved our wedding - and I know a big part of that credit goes to Robert. Even our gluten-free, vegetarian friends were accommodated - no problem. My husband and I are forever grateful - thanks A Pimento!

Robert and his team were amazing! While I didn't work directly with them planning our rehearsal dinner since my Husband's parents paid and planned everything, the actual dinner was perfection. They created a warm and inviting space, which was important to us to welcome our guests, with incredible food! I highly recommend A Pimento! Everything was so yummy!

A Pimento was given a number of challenges when my daughter's "outdoor" wedding was held in Hurricane Joaquin's wake. Flexibility and ingenuity was required, but all came up trumps. The food was delicious and elegantly presented throughout even though keeping food warm and dry in a deluge meant changing kitchen location and constant logistics -- none of which were visible to me or our guests. Thank you to Gay and the A Pimeto staff!

A Pimento was outstanding! From our first meeting my husband and I felt like we were in the best of hands. Robert and team are consummate professionals who will develop a delicious, custom menu, work with you every step of the way to ensure your vision for the day is realized, and take the time to greet your mom at the reception. The food and service were absolutely top-notch. A bit more of a splurge than some of the other caterers in Charlottesville, but we agreed it was well worth it. Highly recommend!

Barbara and A Pimento were absolutely amazing. She was with me every step of the way and went above and beyond what a normal caterer would do -- including taking the lead on rentals, communicating with florists and the venue, and checking in on how I was doing and what I was stressed about. Barbara was really a fairy godmother throughout the whole process. Oh and the food is to die for.

Working with A Pimento was a dream. They understood what we wanted, proposed the perfect menu, then executed without flaw. We have had so many comments about how fresh, unique and delicious our food was. I highly highly highly recommend A Pimento.

Gay and the rest of the staff at A Pimento was AMAZING!!!! The food was so fabulous and gorgeous!!! It was so fun to meet with Gay and plan the menu. Terrance and I both had ideas of what we wanted and wanted to bring some of our favorite foods we grew up with to our wedding. We had part Mexican food and part Southern. The food was just as delicious at the wedding as it was on the day we tasted at A Pimento. We are still (3 months after our wedding) being told how much people LOVED the food. Also, we asked Gay to use Terrance's mom's collard green recipe to honor his mom... Gay was happy to use the recipe and it was delicious and so wonderful for our families to have on our wedding day. The staff was so wonderful --- making sure that we and our families were well taken care of and enjoying everything. This review does not come close to expressing how much we really appreciated A Pimento - their creativity, flexibility (it rained and the schedule was out the window), fabulous attitude, and just outstanding cooking just exceeded all our expectations. I highly recommend A Pimento! I promise, you will not regret your choice!
