l and my wedding, she made it look fabulous and it lasted all day! Thank you so much!!
Crystal is amazing! I wasn't sure what I wanted my hair to look like for my cousin's wedding but she recommended a style and it looked great!
I am SO GLAD that I chose Crystal and her crew, they are simply THE BEST!!!. Long story below on my unique situation, so if you don't make it through my entire review just know th...
at Crystal Razor is THE BEST! I had originally booked another highly rated hair and makeup service in CT in January, but after having my hair and makeup trial with them in May I was left unsatisfied. Due to the busy wedding season the few dates they were able to do another trial for me didn't fit my schedule (I live in Boston) before my wedding in September, so in mid July I reached out to Crystal to see if she was available. Luckily she was, so she and Shonte (makeup artist) came to my mother-in-laws house in Milford to do my hair and makeup trial before my bridal shower on a Saturday morning. I had explained my situation to Crystal and Shonte, showed them pictures of my previous trial that I didn't like, and inspiration photos from Pinterest so they were very understanding of what I was and was not looking for.
For my hair trial Crystal did a total of 3 hairstyles (!!) for me. The first two were two updos, and the third was a half up half down style. I thought we would just do the one hairstyle and that would be it, but Crystal was the one who suggested we take my hair down from the updo for my bridal shower. Instead of putting it down fully she did half up half down so I could see this style, as I was fluctuating between doing an updo or half up half down. I LOVED the updo she did, and the half up half down came out beautiful was well. For my makeup Shonte did a fabulous job and really listened to what I wanted. Everyone was complimenting me so much throughout the day on my hair and makeup, and it lasted 12+ hours! I took pictures earlier in the day and then closer to midnight that night, and everything still held up and looked great! I knew that I had to book them for my wedding day!
I booked Crystal and Shonte for hair and makeup services for me, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my flower girl. Day of they arrived right on time, and since the other hair and makeup company had started much earlier that morning for my bridesmaids in the living room of the hotel suite, Crystal and Shonte setup in the bedroom. Despite the cramped quarters of their work space they worked efficiently and smoothly. My mom and mother-in-law are minimalists with their everyday makeup, and Shonte made sure to follow their direction on what they were envisioning. Overall their hair and makeup looked stunning, and they were VERY HAPPY with their looks. Crystal did my flower girls hair (10 years old), and also did an awesome job. For my hair and makeup, all I can say is WOW. It was everything I've ever hoped for, and I was so so so pleased with how I looked. Crystal and Shonte were a dream to work with, and I highly recommend them! Thank you Crystal and Shonte!!!

an wedding, and I could tell Crystal did her homework in terms of helping me create a hairstyle that would hold the weight of my chunni. She was attentive, listened to me, and was knowledgeable about what would work in front of the camera. Her makeup artist, Shonte, was also wonderful and did an amazing job with makeup. I had nothing but positive experiences with Crystal from the time I first spoke with her on the phone. I highly recommend her services.

I wouldn’t really look much different but Crystal made me look amazing, definitely different from my everyday look. She also did a wonderful job on my hair which lasted the entire night and even looked good when I woke up the next morning! It was so convenient to have Crystal and her team come to my house – I was much more relaxed then I would have been if I actually had to go to a salon. I would highly recommend “A Radiant You” to any bride seeking the perfect hair/make-up artist. Crystal surpassed by expectations!

py. Crystal also took the time to do my little nieces hair and make-up for my trial AND wedding day! She is the only person who has ever been able to put her hair up, so that is saying a lot! I really can't say enough about how amazing these group of girls are. A+++!!!

ith a monolid, so I was extremely nervous about previous Asian-faces experience. Crystal always answered very promptly and completely and made me feel like I made the right choice in vendors.
She arrived early to my hotel room, didn't need a lot of space (just a chair for you and a surface for her supplies), and it was such a great experience. We chatted like old friends and before I knew it, I was already done! She was very conscientious of wedding timelines - for example, I wanted a looser curl but she suggested I keep it tight now so it would be loose by the time of the wedding/pictures, and she was right! She also was very customer-oriented and wanted me to be happy, asking me if there was anything even subtle that I wanted to change.
I didn't want to look overly made-up, and after showing her a few pictures and describing my ideas, Crystal understood exactly what I wanted and executed it flawlessly - everyone said I looked incredibly beautiful. Can't wait for another big event so I can call up Crystal for my hair and makeup! Thanks Crystal!

ful, duh, right?! Well I hired a friend to do makeup for my wedding (BIG MISTAKE, won't go there), and when the makeup artist ran out of time, Crystal grabbed her makeup kit and jumped right in. The makeup looked perfect, I should have used her in the first place! Work with her, you won't regret it!

y and professional she is. I was going for a vintage look for myself and my bridesmaids, and each of us wanted something different and complicated and Crystal and her make-up artist executed each style to PERFECTION!!! I have never felt more lovely and the look on my husbands face was priceless. I can't thank Crystal and her staff enough and can't wait to have her do my make-up for another event!!

djusts to what the client needs and is happy to fix/modify a style. The staff is easy to talk to as well as super friendly. The hair and make up lasted throughout the entire night and we received so many compliments!
I hired Crystal to do Hair and makeup for myself, two bridesmaids, my mother and the groom's mother for our October 2014 wedding. She came to my apartment to do the trial where we ...
tried two different hairstyles and one makeup look. She was easy to talk to and understood my vision well. After wearing the trial hair and makeup around for a day, I decided on some things I wanted to change and she helped me to nail my look and fix the little things I wanted to tweak. On the day of the wedding she came with another stylist and both of them were great to work with. She was a calming presence on an otherwise hectic day. My hair came out like a masterpiece! She did such a great job with my vintage inspired 1920s look. The makeup felt heavy since I don't wear much everyday but it looked surprisingly natural and held up for a solid 12 hours with only light touch-ups. My only issue was that she only brought bright red lipsticks which wasn't the look I was going for but luckily my bridesmaid had a better color with her so it wasn't a problem. Overall Crystal was easy to work with, knowledgeable about style options, and competitively priced. I would definitely recommend her!
Crystal and her team were on time and ready to work. Sensitive to the needs of the bride and bridal party. Personable and professional. I would gladly refer anyone to her service...

ugh hundreds of reviews and once I came across Radiant You one of reviews said:"Crystal was so professional and here energy calmed me down". I thought to myself - this is exactly what I'll need.
Crystal was super sweet to accommodate our wedding date - she was pregnant at the time and was due just a week after the wedding, and yet she said yes! She agreed to work with me and we scheduled a trial.
The trial was so easy and fun - I had no doubts that she was the one. The trial was scheduled on the day of my bridal shower - when my girls saw me they thought I was getting married that day :) I never got so many compliments on my make up ever!!
On the wedding day Crystal and her assistant came to the location on time and made us pretty in a flash :) they've accommodated all of my bridesmaids requests, Crystal even did my mom's and dad's (!!) hair free of charge. She is the sweetest woman ever!
All in all, I can't recommend Crystal enough. She is super talented, great personality, and someone who will magically make your wedding make-up dreams come true!
Thank you so very much!
Crystal Razor has the patience of God! The professionalism and flexibility that she displayed during the makeup trial and wedding while dealing with my high maintenance and at time...
s difficult mother was exceptional. Crystal and her assistant answered all of my mother's questions with such grace and skillfully incorporated her suggestions into the execution of her hair and makeup. In addition to her professionalism, she and her assistant are incredibly talented beauticians. They are able to quickly look at a picture and provide the same exact desired look. They showed up on time for both the trial and wedding and worked efficiently and swiftly to ensure that we were on time for our ceremony. My hair and makeup stayed put the entire wedding despite the weather and all of the dancing that took place that night. All of my bridesmaids looked absolutely gorgeous and I received so many compliments about my own hair and makeup throughout the night. Crystal Razor was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her!

rt time frame. We were able to work out a time for a hair and makeup trial at my apartment and she was very understanding (and creative) when I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair for the wedding.
The day of the wedding, the team was on time, professional, and made the experience really fun. They did such a great job that some of the bridesmaids who originally opted out of getting their hair done changed their minds.
I would highly recommend booking Crystal and her team for your wedding or special event!
Crystal Razor's business A Radiant You is even better than I could possibly have imagined. She provided absolutely stunning, very individual, hairstyles and makeup for my daughter ...
the bride, her three sisters, the mother of the groom. and me. Her team is nothing short of fabulous. The wedding was picture-perfect- thanks to her expertise and professionalism and pure talent- not to mention remarkable patience with different personalities and temperaments. A full twelve hours later, our hair was still perfect. I don't know how she does it, but I cannot recommend her more highly. She turned my daughter's wedding into a real fairytale wedding- she looked like a Disney princess. Run, don't walk, to the nearest phone, and book Crystal!
Thank you to Crystal and Deanna (we had 2 bridesmaids, 3 mothers and a flower girl for have hair and/or makeup) for such a great experience! They came to our venue, worked through ...
everyone in a timely fashion, and had us all looking beautiful for our wedding! I have naturally curly hair, very pale skin and freckles (not a combo for the faint of heart) and Crystal managed to make me look like myself, but better! She even got me hooked on false eyelashes…I'm normally understated and practical in my beauty routine, but I just can't resist adding a little bit of pop to my eyes when my husband and I go out, now!
Thanks, Crystal!

suring person to be around on the wedding day, and extremely talented.
What I loved the most about Crystal was that during my trial she really listened to what I liked and didn't like and was open to feedback on the four styles she tested. It was very collaborative, and she put me at ease both with her skill level and her demeanor. It was also incredibly convenient that she came to our hotel for both the trial and the wedding day - saving us a lot of travel stress, particularly when a blizzard hit on our February wedding day!
I would hire Crystal again in a heartbeat!

Crystal Razor was professional, friendly, and did a great job on our hair. We had a different vendor for makeup, but as our makeup vendor was running out of time, Crystal stepped ...
right up and offered to do the last bridesmaid's makeup to save time!! All of our hair was elegant and just what we wanted.

I was referred to Crystal Razor through my venue and couldn't be happier that they were there for hair and makeup at my wedding!
We had 10 bridal party and family members doing ...
hair and makeup, each one with a different hairstyle. The entire team was so creative and able to work with the ladies to make their hair and makeup perfect! Everyone looked flawless and gorgeous and stayed that way throughout the entire wedding! I seriously felt so beautiful, but still looked like myself, which is another thing I loved about Crystal Razor and the whole team. Everyone who had their hair and makeup done received countless compliments from our guests and it's no wonder why-everyone looked AMAZING!!
I did two trials with Crystal after I somewhat switched up my hairstyle 2 weeks before the wedding. Crystal was completely accommodating and quickly came over to style my hair for the second time. Both times she was so helpful and knew exactly what would look good on me. Even the makeup artist, Kana, knew exactly what would look good on everyone!
All the women who came to do our hair and makeup were so wonderful and personable! We had a great time with all of them! I can't wait until I have another event where I get to use them again! Thank you Crystal, Gina and Kana!!

rfect, and so the day of the wedding she had a lot of different hair & skin types to work with, but every single person turned out stunning. She and her assistant arrived at 12:00 to have everyone done by 3:30 and we finished with a little time leftover. I couldn't have been happier with how everyone looked. I wanted more of a high fashion look than a typical bridal look and she knew exactly what I wanted. My hair & makeup still looked perfect by the end of the night, which is saying a lot since I had a windy beach ceremony!
One of the best things about working with her was how responsive she was. I had contacted other stylists but they either never got back to me or were nearly impossible to get ahold of again. Crystal responded immediately to every email and she was so professional. She's so nice and so patient - I kept wanting to change things during my trial and she worked so hard to give me exactly what I wanted. She was the best! I really can't rave about her enough.

nged my mind about the hair-do and headband several times. She was so flexible and patient, and helped give me suggestions of what looked good on me. The attention to detail was spectacular and we all felt so beautiful on the day of the wedding. Crystal and Shantay came right ot our venue and spent several hours with all of us in the bridal suite. They were on time and brought everything needed to make us look stunning. I decided to use temporary eyelash and hair extensions and Crystal made them look so natural on me! No one would have been able to tell if I didnt spill the secret with a few close friends! After hair and makeup was done I took pictures outside in the freezing cold and very gusty wind. My hair and makeup held up beautifully and when I came in from outside it looked as if I just had the makeup applied! Amazing! Thank you so much to Crystal and Shantay for making us all look and feel beautiful! I highly recommend A Radiant You!

Their work was stunning--I cannot begin to describe how many wonderful comments I received all throughout that evening and for days afterward! I can say, with confidence, that I looked my most beautiful in my whole life on that day and it's all thanks to Crystal! As for the beforehand, Crystal was easy to get in contact with and was checking in with me all along the way. The trial hair and makeup also went fabulously!! I couldn't have wished for a better stylist to be making me and my bridal party all beautiful, while allowing us the comfort of my own home, and the relaxation that came with her, too!

I hired Crystal to stick around until after my Ceremony so that she can do touch ups and that worked out perfectly as well. She was a huge help to not only me but to my entire bridal party! She listened to what we all wanted and she made everyone look beautiful! My hair and makeup lasted from noon all the way past midnight! Crystal is so personable and her work is amazing! Thank you Crystal for making me look and feel like a beautiful princess on my wedding day!!
