Jimmy is a wonderful DJ! During our first call when I booked him I knew he would be a fabulous choice. Having talked to several other DJs, he blew them all out of the water. He spent so long on the phone with me, answered all of my many questions, communicated well, looked out for us when there was some confusion about timeline for another vendor, and most importantly, knew his stuff! Having done this for decades, it shows. Jimmy was professional, kind, easy to work with, and overall awesome. He had great suggestions and everyone had a great time on the dance floor, seamlessly moving from aong to song. He even checked in with us during dinner to make sure we were doing okay. Super happy with our choice in Jimmy, would recommend him to everyone!

Jimmy was an amazing DJ for our wedding this fall! He came highly recommended and did not disappoint. He kept our reception running smoothly and our guests dancing all night. Many of our guests even commented to us after the wedding that he was the best wedding DJ they've heard! While you can be specific about what songs to play or not to play, we opted to just provide Jimmy with one "must play" song and decided against line dancing songs. Otherwise, we left it all up to his discretion. It worked our great because he was able to read the crowd well and adjust the music based on what kept everyone dancing. Leading up to the wedding, Jimmy was great to work with. From talking through music preferences to outlining the schedule and any announcements he needed to make, it was smooth and easy preparation. I was also impressed that he had multiple levels of backup plans in the event of an emergency preventing him from being at the wedding. It was just another sign that he truly cares about his role as a DJ. I highly recommend Jimmy for anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or other event!

Jimmy was the most professional, experienced, and organized DJ we could have asked for. We are still getting complements on what a party our wedding was for all ages, backgrounds, many types of friends and family... everyone had a blast! Jimmy made me feel so prepared with the timeline and his communication skills that I went into the wedding knowing everything would stay on track, and it did of course! What can I say! Jimmy was just top notch from end to end. Based on my experience going to weddings I knew that the MC/DJ is vital for setting the mood for your perfect day. We hired Jimmy Hussey a year and a half ago for our first 2022 Daughter’s wedding. He took such good care of us that we hired him again for our second Daughter’s wedding 20 weeks later! Jimmy Hussey was such an INCREDIBLE part of our wedding on October 1st! He was referred to us by a close friend who had hired Jimmy for her wedding, and I am so glad Jimmy was available to work with us for our big night. A Rockin DJ he is! Jimmy is the best! Hands down...best vendor I worked with from our wedding. He is a busy guy, but you wouldn't be able to tell from the undivided attention you will get from him. Music was an important aspect to our wedding for my husband and I. Jimmy was recommended by my cousin who had hired him for their wedding years ago. When reaching out to Jimmy he immediately recalled my cousin’s name and asked if we were related. Jimmy was very personable and attentive anytime that we would reach out. We decided to stream our wedding to family & friends due to COVID (which was new and nerve wracking to us) but Jimmy was there to help every step of the way. His planning process is very thorough and we were thankful for it the day of as everything went smoothly. Guests that attended the virtual portion of the wedding even commented to us on how fantastic Jimmy was at including everyone at home (calling out those who were dancing and letting them know they were being highlighted). Overall we would absolutely recommend Jimmy; he went above and beyond, he made the planning process easy, and is legitimately great at what he does!

This is your guy! Music was a very important element to our wedding for my husband and I. We also are a little different regarding our musical tastes compared to majority of the weddings out there. Therefore some of our selections were more unique. Jimmy loved it and was more than accommodating regarding it as well. We had a lo-fi type of ceremony for our processional and then a bit fun and poppy for our recessional music. We had certain requests which Jimmy accommodated but made sure to seek to understand and gave us his opinion from his experiences to help us plan better without over stepping our wants or changing our vision. A week out he called us and laid out the timeline and made sure everything was taken care of. Jimmy was super fun and brought life to our party much as you would want from a DJ. He pronounced everyone's name correctly and looked like he was having a great time and in his element at the DJ booth. He checked in with us throughout the night and ensured we were happy. We had a zero request wedding and he handled that wonderfully for us. Jimmy was very kind, prompt, and fun throughout the whole process and you can tell he really loves what he does. We booked him in 2019 for our October 2020 wedding and one big perk of Jimmy is you are talking to the DJ you are getting for your special night. Thank you Jimmy!

He also kept the ceremony flowing smoothly as well as into the reception, speeches, and then kept people on the dance floor all night! BEST DJ!!! Cannot recommend/thank Jimmy enough. As a young bride I had literally so many questions about weddings in general during the planning process - Jimmy is an EXPERT and was so helpful with details beyond music. I did not realize how crucial a DJ was to a wedding - Jimmy made every transition smooth, kept everything flowing as it should, and got the dance floor POPPIN. Jimmy's client portal is incredible - we were able to pick and choose every song/announcement we wanted. He then met with my (now) husband and I in person to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. My favorite thing about hiring Jimmy was peace of mind. Rather than getting sent a random DJ on the day of like some of the bigger DJ companies, we knew we were getting Jimmy - a DJ who is passionate about what he does, has a ton of experience, and already knew every detail about our day! 10/10!!

Holy Cow, Jimmy was amazing. He and I had multiple phone calls leading up to the big day, ensuring that he had everything set and ready. He gave us lists of songs that were the most used for different parts of the wedding like bouquet toss and cake cutting. I was able to pick out songs I wanted played and songs I did not want him to play. We walked into enter sandman by Metallica and it felt like we had just won the super bowl! This man was ready for anything had given me a timeline to review and we followed pretty much exactly. But not only was he amazing a a DJ the man helped break down tables from our food because they were on the dance floor. He also improvised and called out the groomsmen to clean up the floor. It was hilarious! He cued us when we were supposed to move onto the next thing and it was perfect! He is an incredibly kind man and phenomenal DJ! He made our wedding a PARTY!!
