A Rockin DJ Jimmy Hussey

ning achievement for us happened during dinner. My father in law is currently undergoing treatment for throat cancer, which has left his voice quite weak. Originally, he had planned to write his welcome toast and have one of his brothers read it for him, but when the day came he would not be deterred from giving the speech himself. Jimmy took this in stride and, despite the challenging acoustics in our venue, assured him that he would make it work. He delivered on that promise, and in doing so gave our family a memory we will never forget. We can't recommend him enough!

had a blast at the wedding and he did an incredible job! Would definitely recommend him to anyone!

and reception. He is all about what the couple wants and makes sure to plan the music based on their preferences. He kept the party going and also acted as MC during the reception. Jimmy can also go with the flow as we asked to give a 60th birthday shout out that was unplanned. He really cares about the couples he works with and wants to give them the best event but was good about keeping me, the MOB & wedding planner, in the loop when I needed to be. It was a great party and I’m so glad that our daughter and son-in-law chose Jimmy for one of the biggest and most important party of their lives.

floor was at our wedding, we couldn’t have done it without Jimmy!

an hour the first time we spoke, before he was ever even booked! Just from that I got the sense that he's the kind of DJ (and just vendor in general) that genuinely cares that you love your wedding and it's exactly what you want it to be. He's so easy to work with and is just so incredibly experienced and really knows what he's doing. After we had filled out our timeline and listed some songs we liked, we had another phone call where we talked through the whole day and his experience having done this so many times was just so helpful. There's a reason he has so many 5 star reviews on here! Highly highly highly recommend!!

nt so long on the phone with me, answered all of my many questions, communicated well, looked out for us when there was some confusion about timeline for another vendor, and most importantly, knew his stuff! Having done this for decades, it shows. Jimmy was professional, kind, easy to work with, and overall awesome. He had great suggestions and everyone had a great time on the dance floor, seamlessly moving from aong to song. He even checked in with us during dinner to make sure we were doing okay. Super happy with our choice in Jimmy, would recommend him to everyone!

th thanks to Jimmy! Highly recommend!

nd assisted the reception staff to move the dance floor inside mid reception due to the weather. Jimmy played a key part in making our reception a night to remember!

l definitely call on Jimmy again for our entertainment needs. We could not have asked for better and he was worth every cent!!

nning stages of planning (to changing things up the night before in our case…sorry Jimmy!!) was quick and reliable. He helped create the exact mood and vibe we wanted for our wedding and kept the night running smoothly. We seriously could not have asked for a better DJ.

ctly what we wanted and if we didn’t know what we wanted, he had years of experience under his belt to offer some advice. I would book with him 100% again in a heartbeat!! He was the best part of the night!!!!

. I would absolutely recommend Jimmy to anyone who’s in need for a DJ!

amless and everyone was dancing the entire night. 10/10 would recommend!

our music and coordination could not have been easier with Jimmy’s website & set-up. He is kind and friendly and was always eager to help as needed. We’re so grateful we got to work with Jimmy and would HIGHLY recommend him for your wedding. He made our reception an absolute delight!

c you want at your wedding and reception. He provided personal mics so all of our guests could hear us on the outdoor, windy day! When it was time for the reception, Jimmy played great music specialized to what we wanted. He was very personable and easy to talk to. We loved working with Jimmy and would recommend him to anyone! Unlike many vendors, Jimmy never pressured us into booking our wedding with him, and he was more focused on the personal side of things, rather than booking a customer. We love Jimmy and have already gotten him booked for a friend’s wedding in 2024.

e when needed. When it came time to our wedding, I had absolutely no worries that Jimmy would DJ our ceremony and reception night without flaw. Our entire guest list was out on the dance floor from the time it opened to the time it closed. Jimmy rocked the house and I couldn’t be more thankful for him and his skill set. 10/10 would recommend Jimmy to any bride looking for the perfect DJ! Thanks again, Jimmy!

the dance floor for hours!!! He absolutely catered to the whole crowd. We had the best time and are so so grateful Jimmy was recommended to us! Definitely hire Jimmy for your wedding & ceremony!!

of our guests even commented to us after the wedding that he was the best wedding DJ they've heard! While you can be specific about what songs to play or not to play, we opted to just provide Jimmy with one "must play" song and decided against line dancing songs. Otherwise, we left it all up to his discretion. It worked our great because he was able to read the crowd well and adjust the music based on what kept everyone dancing. Leading up to the wedding, Jimmy was great to work with. From talking through music preferences to outlining the schedule and any announcements he needed to make, it was smooth and easy preparation. I was also impressed that he had multiple levels of backup plans in the event of an emergency preventing him from being at the wedding. It was just another sign that he truly cares about his role as a DJ. I highly recommend Jimmy for anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or other event!

many types of friends and family... everyone had a blast! Jimmy made me feel so prepared with the timeline and his communication skills that I went into the wedding knowing everything would stay on track, and it did of course! He was everything we could have hoped for and more, you can not invest enough in the entertainment at your wedding, he should be charging much more than he is. You can tell he really loves what he does. He truly made our day!!!

references and we loved every single song that he played. He was also great at working with our other vendors and keeping the timing of the wedding running smoothly. You will not find another DJ as good as Jimmy to trust with your special event. He gave our event his full attention and care - we cannot thank him enough for how special he made our wedding day.

rom beginning to end was patient with us and even suggested things we wouldn’t have thought of otherwise for our perfect day. Even my parents said wow the DJ was amazing and they can be very critical! We owe so much to Jimmy and I’m so glad we picked him. You can’t go wrong!

l ages and backgrounds to mix together on a busy dance floor. He's easy to work with, accommodating, handles the crowd with ease, and get's people up and having fun! Came to us highly recommended, and we pass on the good advice: get this guy for your wedding!

alism. He kept the party going and made sure our timeline was perfect. We couldn't have had our perfect day without him! If you're on the fence about who to choose as your DJ, I 110% recommend going with Jimmy.

later! Jimmy is such a talented DJ with so much knowledge. He did the music and microphones for both ceremonies and receptions ! Once he was involved we knew we were in good hands ! Do yourself a favor and use Jimmy Hussey!

ries , he’s THE man! Jimmy is talented and cares deeply about his clients ! He’s truly a 5 star DJ!!!

and I could not be more grateful with our decision to hire Jimmy for our big day. Thank you again!

ing process so easy and answered all the questions that we had. Our dance floor was full for our entire reception and we got tons of compliments on him and the music!!

al evening. You won’t go wrong when you hire Jimmy!

m! He was always there to answer questions/provide suggestions for us. He is very easy to get along with and encourages communication. The whole planning process was very easy to follow and complete. On our wedding night, he did wonderful job at both the ceremony and reception. Everything went smoothly! He always had our best interest in mind, and would come to us with any questions/concerns. Everyone loved the music and it was a nice mix of what we wanted. Thank you again Jimmy for making our wedding a night to remember!

e entire night & it’s all thanks to him! He kept the evening flowing & the party going. Even in our final call, he was giving us recommendations & tips for our honeymoon because he had been to another similar resort before. He truly gets to know & cares for his couples. Book Jimmy ASAP you will not regret it!

true professional who was amazing about rescheduling our wedding from 2020 to 2021. The music was great day of and our friends and family had a blast! I wouldn't pick anyone else but Jimmy! Thanks for everything!

lable to work with us for our big night. He is a true professional and makes the music planning process fun and easy. We had a more complicated venue and we didn't have a wedding coordinator, so I knew I needed a DJ who could be on top of everything and I could really trust to handle the evening's communication and flow. Jimmy was amazing and helped us coordinate the evening and I felt confident that he would handle every aspect of the DJ experience for our guests. Unlike other big DJ companies, I was able to have a few planning calls with Jimmy in the weeks leading up to the wedding and he helped me feel really calm and excited about the evening. And he really delivered the day of! The guests loved his music and his DJing skills, he didn't miss a beat, and was extremely organized and on top of all details the entire evening. I never once had to worry or think about what was coming next or if things were handled (such a relief during your wedding night) and our guests truly had a blast. It was a fun experience working with Jimmy for our wedding and I highly recommend his services - thank you, Jimmy!

ill get from him. He is truly focused on providing you the absolute best experience and his customer service is out of this world. That is hard to find nowadays. He makes everything so easy with the music planning forms he sends. He called me a week or two before the wedding to review and we talked about the wedding, but then just talked about this and that and I loved that! He's so genuine and fun to talk with...just goes to show he really cares about his clients. So glad we choose Jimmy...it was the best decision and wr had a blast at our reception!

night. Thanks, Jimmy!

mmediately recalled my cousin’s name and asked if we were related. Jimmy was very personable and attentive anytime that we would reach out. We decided to stream our wedding to family & friends due to COVID (which was new and nerve wracking to us) but Jimmy was there to help every step of the way. His planning process is very thorough and we were thankful for it the day of as everything went smoothly. Guests that attended the virtual portion of the wedding even commented to us on how fantastic Jimmy was at including everyone at home (calling out those who were dancing and letting them know they were being highlighted). Overall we would absolutely recommend Jimmy; he went above and beyond, he made the planning process easy, and is legitimately great at what he does!

dding and he is so organized, detail oriented and such a genuine guy. The day of the wedding he was amazing. He made everything happen in a timely fashion. We were worried about having a Sunday night wedding and if our guest would stay. The dance floor was packed the entire night and guest stayed until the very end! Highly recommend!!!

ofessional and helped run the show. The reception had the perfect songs for the big age difference in our crowd. We would highly recommend hiring Jimmy as your DJ!

of our requests. His skill as a DJ is also impressive and he seamlessly plays off of the party as to how he will make his next move and song selection. Our guests raved about their experience on the dance floor. Highly recommend! Thanks for everything Jimmy!

sten to our concerns and was incredibly understanding when we had to postpone his services due to size limitations and safety concerns. We can't wait to work with Jimmy for an event down the road!

eddings out there. Therefore some of our selections were more unique. Jimmy loved it and was more than accommodating regarding it as well. We had a lo-fi type of ceremony for our processional and then a bit fun and poppy for our recessional music. We had certain requests which Jimmy accommodated but made sure to seek to understand and gave us his opinion from his experiences to help us plan better without over stepping our wants or changing our vision. A week out he called us and laid out the timeline and made sure everything was taken care of. Jimmy was super fun and brought life to our party much as you would want from a DJ. He pronounced everyone's name correctly and looked like he was having a great time and in his element at the DJ booth. He checked in with us throughout the night and ensured we were happy. We had a zero request wedding and he handled that wonderfully for us. Jimmy was very kind, prompt, and fun throughout the whole process and you can tell he really loves what he does. We booked him in 2019 for our October 2020 wedding and one big perk of Jimmy is you are talking to the DJ you are getting for your special night. Thank you Jimmy!

unately got cancelled due to the pandemic, and Jimmy was one of our first vendors to reach out to us and check in. He was as accommodating and flexible as he could be during this crazy time. He made the planning process easy with his knowledge and awesome online portal (for event details and music selection). He covered every detail of every piece of the wedding day that he was involved in, and answered questions we didn't even think to ask :) Jimmy knows that every couple // every wedding is different, and he tailors the music, the order of events, etc. accordingly, but always made good, informed suggestions when needed! He made our wedding reception run smoothly, and ensured everyone was having fun! You can feel confident that you are in good hands working with Jimmy Hussey!

as going through it all during a pandemic, I had so many questions about the wedding set up, how to keep people on the dance floor all night, what to play during the ceremony, etc. and Jimmy was able to answer everything! He is very knowledgable and very passionate about his job, and shines through when you talk to him and through his work. Before the wedding, he made sure to set time aside to meet with us a few different times to go over everything as well as run through the whole day, ceremony and all. This not only helped my nerves for the day, but helped me feel confident that the day was going to run smoothly! His online portal was also such a big help! We were able to add in songs we absolutely wanted to hear and songs we didn't want to hear at all! He also kept the ceremony flowing smoothly as well as into the reception, speeches, and then kept people on the dance floor all night! Overall, I loved how personable and passionate Jimmy was, and I highly recommend him as a DJ for weddings or any other gathering you're throwing!

s so helpful with details beyond music. I did not realize how crucial a DJ was to a wedding - Jimmy made every transition smooth, kept everything flowing as it should, and got the dance floor POPPIN. Jimmy's client portal is incredible - we were able to pick and choose every song/announcement we wanted. He then met with my (now) husband and I in person to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. My favorite thing about hiring Jimmy was peace of mind. Rather than getting sent a random DJ on the day of like some of the bigger DJ companies, we knew we were getting Jimmy - a DJ who is passionate about what he does, has a ton of experience, and already knew every detail about our day! 10/10!!
