Jackie was the best! From pinterest board to reality Jackie nailed my wedding inspiration. She is amazing at her job and went the extra step to gather all my flowers and donate to the local nursing home upon my request! Absolutely beautiful! Book Jackie!

I'm so glad that I chose A Rose is a Rose as the florist for my out of town wedding! Throughout the planning process Jackie did a great job keeping track of all of the various details of my wedding, regarding any adjustments in flower combinations, additional décor, timelines and where things needed to be set up. She also did a great job assisting me in communicating these details to my venue when needed. This was especially helpful as my wedding day got closer and there was more and more to do. Another reason that I really enjoyed working with Jackie was her ability to make my bouquet inspiration photo come to life! I had fallen in love with a bouquet pictured on pinterest and on the day of my wedding I had a bouquet that was identical to that picture! Jackie was great about helping me create my own floral combination for my centerpieces as well. I initially wasn't quite sure what colors or flowers to use, but once they were finalized Jackie made sure to make a sample so that I could see exactly what the centerpieces would like like. I can't express how much I appreciated this! Jackie also made sure that everything was very cost effective. Most notably, repurposing the flowers for our very short ceremony into flowers for our reception, something that I wouldn't even have thought about. Overall, the flowers that Jackie provided arrived on time, fresh and beautifully arranged. Jackie made sure that everything was absolutely perfect on my big day and I would definitely recommend A Rose is a Rose to anyone getting married in the Cooperstown area!

Jackie was amazing to work with. I sent her inspiration photos (and it was a little all over the place) and she made my vision come to life!! She also provided me with honest feedback, of what she thought looked good and how we could re-purpose. That was so appreciated when I was navigating through it alone and a few states away. She made planning so simple and did not miss a thing, often calling out things that I may have overlooked (such as the entry table that guest would be walking by though out the night!). She ran the show on the wedding day - not needing any guidance or instruction. Our bridal flowers were ready to go in our getting ready room - called out with which was for who - she also remembered things that I didn't want that were standard at the venue and quickly took action to make sure they were not included, even without me having to say anything. She made the day seamless!!!!! I walked into the reception prior to having the guests come in and I was amazed with all of the work her team did! It was so beautiful (I could literally cry thinking about it!). I highly recommend Jackie (and also seeing the reception room prior to it getting filled so you can take in her work!). She is an artist, and I am so thankful that I chose A Rose is A Rose Florist! She also rents other things if you need them (vases, candles, etc.). One stop shop!!!! I cannot thank Jackie enough for making my dream wedding come true! She was so easy to work with and helped my Pinterest ideas come to life! She even helped me keep costs affordable and came up with some ideas to re-use some of the ceremony flowers for the reception as well! I absolutely loved the bouquets, the flower arrangements for the arch, and the centerpieces. I am so thankful for all of her wonderful advice and help over these past two years of wedding planning! I even had the bouquet preserved with resin so it can last a lifetime. If you are looking for a florist for your wedding, you should seriously consider Jackie!

Jackie brought my vision to life with the flowers and the greenery at my wedding!!! She was so easy to work with and very flexible, as my ideas changed and table numbers increased. Our guests could not stop raving over how beautiful the floral arrangements were and some begged to take them home for center pieces lol! Jackie is an incredibly talented florist and was so wonderful to work with. I sent a few initial ideas to her and when we met, she not only had several options prepared but had excellent additions to make the arrangements even more beautiful. Every detail in the flowers were perfect and Jackie was so flexible when we wanted to add or change something. Our centerpieces were stunning as were the bouquets and her prices were very reasonable for the quality and time she invested in putting everything together. We could not have asked for a better florist for our wedding and highly recommend you use her too!

Jackie is such an artist! She did an amazing job creating beautiful centerpieces and bouquets for our wedding. She was so lovely to work with and was very flexible when we had to change our plans due to COVID. She really made our dream come to life through her arrangements. I’d recommend her to anyone!

We got married at the Otesaga in August 2018 and Jackie was AMAZING to work with! I sent her pictures from pinterest and we had so many emails and one in person meeting discussing what we were looking for and she nailed it! In addition to bouquets and centerpieces she also did our arch flowers, flowers for our cake and seating card table, boutonniere's, corsages for Mom's, readers and flower girls. Everything was set up perfectly, we didn't have to do a thing! She even stayed through the ceremony and moved our flowers from the arch outside into the ballroom to use on the fireplace mantle. When one of our requested flowers came in a little off color she called me immediately with amazing options that turned out even better! Above and beyond! The centerpieces were so beautiful and the flowers so fresh we actually kept them overnight at the venue to use on our tables for the breakfast the next day! Jackie nailed it and I 100% recommend her for your special day!

Jackie is a true artist and put together the most breathtaking Peonie arrangements for our wedding in June! She incorporated spirea from my moms garden and even a few of my moms peonies in my bridal bouquet. We can’t thank her enough!!! Highly highly recommend Jackie and her team if you are getting married in the Cooperstown area!

What can I say... Jackie is a super star. She went above and beyond for our December wedding at the Otesaga hotel in Cooperstown. She brought my vision to life with dark red, ivory and pops of blush with gold vases and centerpieces... floating candles with cranberries.. not a single detail was missed. My bouquet was gorgeous and was the centerpiece of all our beautiful wedding portraits. Jackie knows her stuff.. we had just one meeting and exchanged a few emails and she delivered beyond my imagination and dreams. Flowers were such an important element for us and we were so beyond happy with the results. Amazing person to work with and I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Jackie!

Jackie is SO talented and creative, and she's also the sweetest person ever. She was such a pleasure to work with throughout the year. We sent her photos from Pinterest and described the colors that we liked. Everything was planned over email because we live about 4 hours away. I really appreciated how quick she was to respond and she always gave her honest opinion and advice. Jackie worked within our budget and our flowers came out better than we could have imagined. Our flowers lasted long after the wedding...like, over 2 weeks! I decided to hang and dry my bouquet and it's still just as pretty as it was on my wedding day. Jackie, you're the best!!!!

Very easy to work with! Jackie was so kind and helpful. I had originally decided to use a florist closer to my venue who could deliver, but they were so unresponsive that I switched to 'A Rose is a Rose.' They made a beautiful arrangement for a reasonable price.

I can't say enough about Jackie - she was the best florist I could've had for my September 15th wedding. She was attentive and understanding during our initial meeting. She was accommodating throughout the year with any requests I made. Jackie was great! I came to her with a general idea about bright summery flowers, and she brought it to life with the details! She was helpful in making suggestions when we were indecisive about certain things, always keeping in mind the the vision we were going for (even slightly changing as we got further along in the planning). The flowers were absolutely beautiful and one of my favorite things about our wedding.

Jackie is amazing at what she does. Responds to all e-mails quickly. She showed up on time, set up the centerpieces, and made sure everything was to my liking. The flowers were breathtaking and I cannot recommend her enough.

I contacted A Rose is a Rose immediately after I'd gotten engaged. Jackie (the owner) asked me to send her some pins of things that I liked so she could get a feel for what I wanted. Since my wedding was the first weekend of June, she let me know what was realistic and what was not, and took it from there. She emailed me to check in and see if I had any changes or to ask a question about something. I brought her mason jars for all of my flowers and she embellished with some burlap and lace. SO MANY people asked me if the flowers were fake or not! They came out better than I expected and I wish they would have lasted forever. They understood the vibe I was looking for, and I couldn't say enough good things about this place!

I've never felt it was necessary to overspend on flowers. At A Rose is a Rose Jackie was able to give me gorgeous centerpieces, bouquets and boutonniere all for under $1,000. The flowers were exactly what I expected and absolutely beautiful.

Had an amazing experience with A Rose is a Rose for my Cooperstown wedding - coordinating from NYC could have been a scary ordeal, but Jackie did an amazing job creating absolutely stunning arrangements and centerpieces and totally nailing the vibe of the occasion!
