TL;DR: Kendyl has an artful and unique eye, knows how to capture the natural (and most special) moments, and was such a joy to work with. We highly recommend working with both Kend...yl and his talented wife (Diana, @flordecampo.co on Instagram) to capture your wedding, special event, etc.!
We had Kendyl and Diana document our engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and wedding day, and I'm so grateful we did! Before my husband and I even knew where we would get married, we knew we wanted to work with Kendyl. I had seen his previous pieces of art and one thing was consistent: I could *feel* what the day felt like for the weddings he filmed. His films didn't look posed or highly orchestrated; rather, each one was unique and yet consistently natural, beautiful, and simple. He captures all the little, organic moments that matter most and the ones you're going to want to remember. We recently received the "teaser" video for our wedding film (which we cherish) and shared it with our families. One of my brothers texted me immediately and said, "It wasn't 30 minutes ago I was thinking to myself 'how do I remember Dana's wedding weekend and continue that good feeling?' Then you sent [Kendyl's] video." Kendyl captures those moments, the ones you want to hold onto and feel all over again, easily, and his work speaks for itself.
One final thing we're grateful for in working with Kendyl is that he connected us with his marvelously talented wife and partner, Diana. Picking the right photographer can feel a bit overwhelming, but after seeing her work, we knew she was the perfect person to capture our day. If you're looking for someone to film and photograph a special event, I highly recommend you book both of them. They communicate and work seamlessly together, understand and respect each other's craft, and are fundamentally just great people. Having your photographer and videographer work well together is the perfect equation for capturing all those perfect moments.
Thank you for everything, Kendyl + Diana!
