Connie is simply the best! We told her what kinds of things we liked (i.e. if we had a theme, what colors we wanted to go with etc.). She came up with a basic design for us (like for the arch, and table-scapes) and gently guided us to things ...
that would work for our theme. She did the chairs, arch, runner and flower petals for the ceremony. She also did our reception area for us, as well. Table runners, fresh flowers, vases, you name it she did it and did it well. It was stunning. Everyone LOVED the decorations both inside and outside. She came back at the end and took it all down for us, too. She is warm, friendly and so delightful to work with. Weddings can be so stressful and knowing you have someone to do the decorations, the setup, and the breakdown takes such a load off your shoulders.

We rented our chairs for our ceremony through Connie at A Special Occasion. Connie knew that we were having an outdoor ceremony but never mentioned that the chairs we were renting had a "leather padding." When it started sprinkling outside, w...
e were basically told that even if we wanted to have it outside we couldn't because she wouldn't risk her chairs being ruined. I think that she should disclose this information ahead of time, because I would've gladly booked a different type of chair. I was obviously upset that we weren't able to have it outside and was trying to push to just see how the weather was going to hold up since it was still about an hour and a half before the ceremony, but I ended up having it indoors because the weather didn't look like it would hold up and I was literally not given a choice from A Special Occasion, Inc. but to move it indoors. It turned out fine and the wedding was still beautiful, but the ladies who set up/take down the chairs were just kind of standing around and staring, waiting to take all of the chairs. I think it could've been handled better.

out flowers going into this and she took the colors I had in my wedding and suggested flowers and I picked from them. She had everything taken care of and I had to worry about nothing with the decorations. The reception hall turned out beautiful the location said it was one of the prettiest decorated rooms they had seen. I was very happy with the service we received and working with Connie!

It was the wedding/party of the year! When we walked into that hall it was so beautifully made up, it was more then what I expected! Elegent and classy. I would highly recommend them, very personable and professional.
