Leigh did a fantastic job! I currently live out of state, so she was very accommodating when booking a cake tasting while I was in town. Her attention to detail is incredible, her cake flavors are delicious, and our wedding cake tasted and looked exactly as we wanted! The cake was so tasty that most of our guests had seconds. I highly recommend booking Leigh (A Sweet Life) as your cake baker for any event!

Leigh was an absolute dream to work with. She was honest and worked with us to bring our cake dreams to life. Her insight on cake cutting is down to the decimal point and it was so refreshing to have someone who was willing to do a grooms cake that was inspired by his love for gaming while keeping the brides cake classy and in our wedding colors. Leigh was absolutely amazing! We had a Star Wars/Harry Potter Wedding and she balanced fun and classy perfectly. Not only did it look beautiful it was incredibly tasty. She even helped me plan a special surprise for my husband. So happy!

There are not enough wonderful words to describe A Sweet Life Bakery. Leigh is amazing to work with. When I went for my tasting for my wedding I had no idea what I was doing. Leigh walked us through everything, she listened to our vision of our cakes for our wedding day and she made them happen. Not only did the cakes look amazing (we got so many compliments on how cute and amazing they looked), but they also tasted amazing!! Most of the weddings I have attended, the wedding cakes are dry and tasteless, not Leigh’s cakes! The red velvet with salted caramel filling was gone so fast, everyone was raving about how delicious the cakes were. If you are in need of a cake, a Sweet Life is who to go with.

My husband and I have nothing but great things to say about Leigh and A Sweet Life. We were nervous about finding the perfect vendor, because the cake/dessert is such an important part of the reception, but Leigh completely dissolved all of our worries! She was so accommodating to our needs and our reception vision and made it come to life. Leigh is a kind, hard-working, professional woman and we are so pleased with the way our cakes and cupcakes turned out. My husband wanted a unique groom's cake and she gave us exactly that - she created a camping scene, complete with a tiny sugar model of our dog Juneau and a campfire that actually lit up! Our wedding cake was beautiful and minimalist, just what we wanted. The sugar greenery made it so special. We 100% recommend Leigh and A Sweet Life for all of your dessert needs!

My aunt recommended Leigh when I started looking for a baker for our wedding cake. She gets all of her birthday cakes from Leigh and was raving about her espresso chocolate cake. I emailed Leigh and she was very fast to respond and wanted to meet us right away for a cake tasting. Our cake tasting was AMAZING. Leigh made our cake tasting super accommodating and took out a lot of time out of her day to talk to us. We tried 3-4 different cakes with 3 different frosting options and then talked about what we wanted our cake to look like. We ended up choosing two different cakes (Leigh's cakes are 5 layers high with 3 fillings): 1. Greek yogurt cake with 2 layers of raspberry filling and 1 layer of pistachio filling in between the cake layers. 2. Espresso chocolate cake with 2 layers of chocolate ganache filling and 1 layer of pistachio filling in between the cake layers. At our cake tasting, we talked about what we would like our cake to look like and I was panicking in the inside because I actually hadn't thought hard about that. I then went home and emailed Leigh 3-4 times changing the cake and every single time she said yes. I even added a groom's cake. In the end, I sketched out a picture of our cakes and I was super surprised of how well it came out. Our cakes was a hit at our wedding! So many people were taking pictures of the groom's cake and wedding cake. Leigh made the cake come to life and it looked better than I could ever imagine. Her work on the hand-carved flowers is amazing and her watercolor flowers on the cake was even more incredible. My husband and I thought the flowers on the cake were real and that our florist may have slipped some flowers to Leigh. I am so happy that Leigh made our cakes. I cannot thank her enough.

We went to a lot of cake places and really struggled to find something that was right for us. LEIGH WAS AMAZING! It was the most personalized, relaxed, and enjoyable tasting. We loved working with her to determine the flavors, size, and style of cake. Our final cake was PERFECT. She also provided text pictures of the cake being baked and decorated the day before the wedding which was such a fun touch. Leigh is amazing and I recommend her to all of my friends! Also, very reasonably priced (for a wedding cake :) )!

Wow! We were so in love with our cake! Not only did it look perfect, it was the best tasting wedding cake we have both ever had (and I am not exaggerating). The whole process of working with Leigh was so smooth and professional. Our cake tasting was a blast and she delivered our vision for the cake exactly as we had wanted. I have no bad things to say about the process and the product!!
