Days Lodge in CVNP. I am absolutely backing up the other reviews to say they truly are the best catering company and will make the difference with your wedding. I found this company through Happy Days Lodge since they allow you to work with few caterers. They are a full service caterer with glassware, linen, and chair rental which is extremely convenient for coordination. Cost wise, they are very reasonable for what you are getting. Initially, I worked with Amanda prior to her promotion, and she was a delight. I was then switched to Madison who is lovely and answered every question I had along the way. I also had contact with Gavin who was very helpful and responsive! Ask for Madison as your point of contact! Foodwise, I promote food and hosting on social media. This company is on par with the level you want to show off for one of the biggest days of your life. Many people came up to me at the wedding to report it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Taste of excellence cooks the food on premise so everything is hot and delicious, which is not the case for many catering companies. For appetizers, I had the lobster slaw en croute, the artichoke wonton cone, the banana pepper popper with remoulade sauce, and the thai chicken skewers with peanut sauce. Each one was delicious, but the guests liked them in that order. For dinner, we chose to have plated chicken or beef. We went with the beef short rib which was definitely a crowd pleaser paired with Yukon mashed potatoes and broccolini. We did the tasting for chicken florentine which was good but went with the chicken maderia because it was delicious! The chicken madeira was wrapped in a puff pastry and since it is cooked on premise the puff pastry was still crispy when served. We paired that with the scalloped potatoes and the broccolini. For dessert, if it is in your budget, I highly recommend the sweet endings option. My guests had a choice of bananas foster or cherries jubilee which was served over French vanilla icecream. For $5.50 per person, it was an absolute hit and guests are still talking about it. I would say this company made for a lasting impression. Service wise, we had Cindy day of to organize and she was so wonderful. She lite all my candles, wrapped up extra food for people that did not show, and answered all questions I had. I rented my glassware and chairs for my outdoor ceremony through them so it took less things off my plate. If you are looking for a truly seamless wedding experience, I would say go for this caterer.

They were both incredibly helpful from the very beginning of the process when we were deciding on a venue and throughout every step of deciding on the details for the menu and set-up for the event. We have received many compliments from family and friends about the delicious food. All of our interactions with both Pam, Mary Jane, and the staff at A Taste of Excellence were positive, professional, and very helpful.

petizers for all the guest. They had to be told to do their jobs as far as boxing up my daughters cake and keeping the dessert table full. They spilled BBQ sauce all down the front of the tablecloth and just pulled the bottom of the cloth up and set it on there for it to leak through and get on someone's dress or suit and never refilled the sauce bowl. The event coordinator never checked in to see how things were going. I would definitely not recommend them when there are so many of other catering companies that will and can do a better job and actually communicate better with there customers

She was professional, organized, quick with communication and so kind. The bartenders and waitstaff at our wedding were wonderful and they were so accommodating to our outside desserts and signature drinks. We went with a family style meal and so many of my guests have RAVED about how delicious their dinners were! Everything was served quickly, warm, and was delicious. So many people have told me that it is the best wedding food they have ever had! I can not recommend Lindsay & the team at A Taste of Excellence enough!

During the wedding, the service we received was top notch. The bartenders were fast and served great drinks, the food was hot when it was served, and the workers were all very kind. Highly recommend the Taste of Excellence team.

They went above and beyond to take care of my husband and I, including a personal charcuterie board at our sweetheart table, restocking dessert, packaging up dessert and extra food, and even helping to move tables at the end of the night! work with. We worked with Kaitlyn and Mikaela! Our original meeting was with Kaitlyn and then everything else was with Mikaela. Mikaela has such a bubbly personality- she’s perfect for working with brides to be a smiling face during stressful times!! The process, I felt, was very smooth. We picked our food, and colors for linens & cutlery right away. They accommodated my food allergies along with some of my guests. The day of went smoothly as well! Austin was in charge and was very polite whenever he came to chat with us and make sure we were taken care of! He double checked that we wanted our head table to be served our cake and desserts were for the guests. They set up all of our cupcakes and cookies for us. Packaged all of our extra meals up. Packaged our cake back up for us to save. Set up our cereal bar for our late night snack. And made it look even better than I imagined!! They set up all of our thank you cards for our guest along with their meal preferences. We did not hear one complaint about the food being wrong or not cooked right! Everybody loved their meals and appetizers! The bridal party even got to eat a decent amount of them which was really nice!! The bar staff were very very nice! We brought our own alcohol and they packaged everything that was not used right back up for us! All of the staff was accommodating with one of our signature drinks having a starburst in it. They were polite enough to make sure a very nice bottle of wine did not get wasted since it was already open! Could not recommend TOE enough to help make your wedding day go smoothly with amazing food!!

The servers the day of my wedding were very attentive and communicative with me about everything. We also had a few kids need to come at the last minute, and they were great about adding on children's meals literally the week before the wedding. The pricing was right in our range and they even beautifully displayed/served our cake and desserts from a different bakery. Everyone on staff day of was so friendly and kind. All meals were enjoyed, and they were conscientious about some of the severe allergies we had amongst the guests. They were also so good about coordinating with our planner and venue separate from us, which saved us some logistic-ing. And if I didn't say it before, the food was delicious!!

. We had several planning calls throughout the months leading up to the wedding, and also attended a tasting at their location in Strongsville. This all helped us immensely so we knew what to expect the day of the wedding. We had slightly more than 100 guests attend. We decided to do buffet style so guests could enjoy multiple entrees. Salads and bread were pre-set so guests could begin eating while they waited to go through the buffet line. ToE also set up our dessert table and made it look beautiful (though desserts and cake were ordered through a separate bakery). Guests complimented the food many times, and the service was wonderful. Also they were very accommodating for food allergies. I will add they may be on the more expensive side for some couples, but for full service catering that I did not have to worry about at all the day of the event, it was well worth it.

Booking this venue and catering service was a large part of our budget, but it was 100% worth it. Guests told us that our wedding looked like it could have been in a wedding magazine!
