We had a wedding last night and from the start of planning till last night it was just an overall incredible experience working with the taste of excellence they are professional understanding adaptable and overall fantastic would highly recommend using them 10 out of 10 experience

Super picky bride alert (me!) - ATE blew my mind at The Old Courthouse. I had so many requests and ideas and they were SO flexible and open to anything I asked. I had a secondary catering vendor for some cultural dishes, and ATE (provided cocktail hour, main meals, and bar) worked so smoothly alongside them. Truly a well oiled machine that kept everything on track and helped make up time as we needed to. Emily supported me through the planning, and Rachel & Cooper were my day of heroes. They’re all FABULOUS and so professional. I felt so lucky to have this power team make my day special. I can’t gush enough. Thank you ATE!!

We were so pleased by the quality of food and professionalism from Taste of Excellence. Lindsay was an excellent coordinator and made the process seamless. MANY guests commented on how amazing the food was which is hard to pull off at a wedding.

They were beyond amazing! The food was fantastic, all my guests went on even after the wedding about how amazing all of the food was! All of their staff was so friendly and extremely helpful!

We used TOE for our wedding as they were who our venue used- which was great for us because we wanted to use them anyways!! From the beginning they were all very sweet and easy to work with. We worked with Kaitlyn and Mikaela! Our original meeting was with Kaitlyn and then everything else was with Mikaela. Mikaela has such a bubbly personality- she’s perfect for working with brides to be a smiling face during stressful times!! The process, I felt, was very smooth. We picked our food, and colors for linens & cutlery right away. They accommodated my food allergies along with some of my guests. The day of went smoothly as well! Austin was in charge and was very polite whenever he came to chat with us and make sure we were taken care of! He double checked that we wanted our head table to be served our cake and desserts were for the guests. They set up all of our cupcakes and cookies for us. Packaged all of our extra meals up. Packaged our cake back up for us to save. Set up our cereal bar for our late night snack. And made it look even better than I imagined!! They set up all of our thank you cards for our guest along with their meal preferences. We did not hear one complaint about the food being wrong or not cooked right! Everybody loved their meals and appetizers! The bridal party even got to eat a decent amount of them which was really nice!! The bar staff were very very nice! We brought our own alcohol and they packaged everything that was not used right back up for us! All of the staff was accommodating with one of our signature drinks having a starburst in it. They were polite enough to make sure a very nice bottle of wine did not get wasted since it was already open! Could not recommend TOE enough to help make your wedding day go smoothly with amazing food!!

I had the privilege of working with Emily. She was always so communicative with me. Also had timely responses to any questions I had. The food was absolutely amazing. My guests all raved about the food too! Saying it was the best food they have had at a wedding by far. So it wasn’t just me that thought the food was good. The service was also amazing. The servers the day of my wedding were very attentive and communicative with me about everything. I really don’t have anything bad to say about this company, I had such a great experience and will recommend to anyone else getting married or wanting great food at big events!

The food was, without a doubt, the best wedding cuisine we have ever had. The braised beef short rib was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, while the chicken madeira was equally delightful. We cannot say enough about Taste and their team of professionals. If you are looking for a catering company that handles it all, this is it. They were accommodating, kind, responsive, and the food was amazing, we got compliments all night long. Thank you so much, they took the stress of all set up and tear down away. It was perfect!

I cannot say enough god things about AOTE. Emily was the best!! She was so helpful during our planning process. Was prompt to respond and accommodating to our requests. I made a few last-minute changes to table linens and upgraded our cheese display, and they were able to do it without any issues. We also had a few kids need to come at the last minute, and they were great about adding on children's meals literally the week before the wedding. The pricing was right in our range and they even beautifully displayed/served our cake and desserts from a different bakery. Everyone on staff day of was so friendly and kind. All meals were enjoyed, and they were conscientious about some of the severe allergies we had amongst the guests. They were also so good about coordinating with our planner and venue separate from us, which saved us some logistic-ing. And if I didn't say it before, the food was delicious!!

We used A Taste Of Excellence to cater our wedding 10/5… the food was the hit of the party!! Almost every guest was asking who catered because it was such a good meal! They were easy to talk to, always available to answer questions, so patient with my indecisiveness, open to last minute changes, and the presentation was beautiful! If you’re on the fence, definitely book them, you will not be disappointed!

We used A Taste of Excellence to cater our wedding this past September. They were great to work with! Lindsay did much of the planning while Debbie was on site the day of the event. We had several planning calls throughout the months leading up to the wedding, and also attended a tasting at their location in Strongsville. This all helped us immensely so we knew what to expect the day of the wedding. We had slightly more than 100 guests attend. We decided to do buffet style so guests could enjoy multiple entrees. Salads and bread were pre-set so guests could begin eating while they waited to go through the buffet line. ToE also set up our dessert table and made it look beautiful (though desserts and cake were ordered through a separate bakery). Guests complimented the food many times, and the service was wonderful. Also they were very accommodating for food allergies. I will add they may be on the more expensive side for some couples, but for full service catering that I did not have to worry about at all the day of the event, it was well worth it.

We were very happy with our wedding that was catered by TOE at Cleveland City Hall! Mary Jane and Pam were very easy to work with and super detail oriented. Pam made sure no detail was forgotten, was great at communicating everything and was very helpful in making adjustments as needed. The day of coordinator was also really great, checking on the bride and groom and going out of her way to make sure everything was running smoothly.

I had a fantastic experience with A Taste of Excellence. They were the preferred vendor for Basil Place and everyone I worked with for the wedding raved about how organized and efficient they are. They were amazing on wedding day, checked on my husband and I numerous times throughout the night, and really made us feel well cared for during the night. The food was amazing and I had numerous guests tell us our great it was. They made the room look beautiful as well. They listened to all of our needs and always answered emails in a timely fashion. They are truly a well oiled machine and I would recommend them to everyone. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to work with them for our wedding.

Every single person we talked to said it was the best wedding meal they’ve had! Lindsey was with us through the planning process and she was so kind and helpful. Debbie and Cindy were with us day of and treated our guests like stars. Never any empty water glasses or stomachs. They honored my picky napkin set up request without a question. They made sure me and my husband had hors d’oeuvres and checked in on us frequently. The chef also was so kind and created a lovely meal. Will be dreaming about the bruschetta and the pork tenderloin for the rest of my life.

Amanda was the coordinator for our daughter’s wedding. She was amazing! Helped me with everything! The food was great! So many compliments from guests. They helped clean up at the end of the evening. Would definitely recommend!

Taste of Excellence catered my wedding and they did an outstanding job! I would absolutely recommend them. During the whole planning process, our event manager Emily was super attentive, responsive, and helpful. We felt so well taken care of. On wedding day the food presentation, display and service was top-notch. Your guests will not leave hungry when served by Taste of Excellence! The portions are super generous and we got many comments on how good our wedding food was. They were also extremely helpful with setting up and tearing down the reception venue, including chiavari chairs, linens, and table settings.

My partner and I were married in The Barn and Mapleside Farms this past weekend and could not recommend it more. We worked alongside Debbie from Taste of Excellence during the planning process, who was beyond helpful and approachable. Pam worked with us on our actual wedding day (because Debbie had a family wedding to attend), but jumped right in and made sure everything was perfect. The Taste of Excellence waitstaff was BEYOND friendly during setup, dinner service, and cleanup. Our guests raved about the food, stating it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Booking this venue and catering service was a large part of our budget, but it was 100% worth it. Guests told us that our wedding looked like it could have been in a wedding magazine!

The food Taste of Excellence served to 161 guests at our daughter’s wedding was the best I’ve ever had at a wedding. I was skeptical, because our venue does not have kitchen facilities. They brought everything they needed. Everything from the salads to the desserts was delicious. They brought 161 fresh hot customized meals in a matter of a few minutes. We chose rosemary filet, airline chicken, salmon, and a veggie option. All were 5-star restaurant quality. My husband said he’s never had a better steak in a restaurant. I couldn’t have been more impressed with this caterer. Every detail was perfectly executed.

Taste of Excellence was amazing. The food was so good. And Lindsay was so good at communication and so nice and friendly. Everyone at our wedding kept talking about how good the food was. They took care of everything for me and I didn't have to stress about anything. They were so great.

Taste of Excellence was a fantastic choice for our wedding catering. We had a range of food options for guests, including chicken, beef, salmon, vegetarian/vegan and even kid meals. The team was extremely professional and responsive for all of our questions, accommodating changes and allergens, such as gluten and dairy free adjustments. Many guests mentioned how great the food was as well. Not only is the quality of food very good, but it's also very reasonably priced in comparison to some other vendors. Loved working with the Taste of Excellence team and would highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful!! Emily was amazing throughout the planning process. She offered recommendations as we planning that were helpful and made our day run smoothly. We did not have to worry about anything related to the cocktail hour, plated dinner, bar serve and desserts, Highly recommend them so you focus on your guests and enjoy your day!

Their food is great! All the options we tasted and ended up offering (chicken, salmon, beef, and vegan portobello mushroom cap) were delicious. I appreciate they have so many gluten free options as we had a few guests with this restriction and it was nice to know they didn’t have limitations to what they could choose. They are super thorough in planning and having the details organized ahead of time so there is nothing to think or worry about as the bride and groom on the day of!

The pasta buffet was great! The gluten free options were amazing. We were somewhat disappointed with their cake cutting process which was delayed.

Taste of excellence was great to work with! From the planning stages to out actual wedding day, no detail was left unturned. Mary Jane, Pam Medeana and their entire team were a pleasure to work with. The guest could not stop raving about how great the food was the entire night.

A wonderful caterer to work with. The food was delicious and service was even better. The servers working the day of the wedding had great attention to detail and did all the little things that make for an exceptional experience such as circling over to the bridal party during cocktail hour to ensure we got some appetizers as well. Lindsay was easy to communicate with and always answered any questions we had quickly and with detail. Highly recommend this company for any event but especially weddings.

Phenomenal caterer to work with. The planning process was smooth, and Kaitlyn and the whole team were great to work with. The setup at our venue (Cleveland City Hall) was great, and the food was excellent. All around great caterer--would highly recommend!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! A Taste of Excellence catered my wedding at Mapleside Lodge on 02/24/2024, and I couldn’t have dreamed of anything better! We decided to do a soup/salad/slider buffet and it was a HUGE hit! They were super accommodating and made sure we could customize everything to our liking, and the pastry chef even incorporated our wedding colors! The food was hot, delicious, well seasoned, and there was such a variety to choose from that it was hard to decide what to eat! They also boxed all the leftovers up at the end of the nightly for us to take home. We also opted for an open bar with beer only, cash bar for anything else, and they were super flexible with our alcohol choices and even helped with recommendations when I couldn’t make up my mind. I will 100% ALWAYS recommend A Taste of Excellence for anyone getting married near the Cleveland area, because I believe they are truly the best at what they do and I could never truly express my gratitude for their staff and all they did for me and my fiancee on our big day❤️

Taste of Excellence is amazing. They catered my daughter's wedding at The Barn at Mapleside Farms 2-24-24. The food was incredible. We had a sit down plated dinner of NY Strip Steaks and Chicken Florentine. It was hot a delicious. All my guests raved about the food. Their services to help organize such a big day were second to none. Karen Levin is experienced and has an eye for every detail. Her and her staff were incredibly attentive. Everything about my daughter's wedding day was absolutely perfect and Taste was a big part of that. Highly recommend!

Taste of Excellence made our wedding day so amazing. They were always there to help and were very organized throughout the night. Planning/taste testing with them was SO easy and personalized. Can’t forget to say how AMAZING the food was. We had so many compliments from guests about the delicious food and still get comments today about how it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We were so happy with A Taste of Excellence! They were one of the caterer options for our venue, and we initially chose them because we were having a brunch wedding, and they had some options for breakfast foods. We worked with Lindsay throughout our planning process, and she helped us create a completely personalized menu that included exactly what we wanted, above and beyond what their original menu offered! Every time we reached out with a question or change, the response was prompt and kind. On the day of the wedding, the staff was organized and made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was also delicious, and we are still getting compliments about it from guests! I would definitely recommend A Taste of Excellence! Thank you!!

I cannot say enough good things about A Taste of Excellence. Not only was the food fantastic (we had multiple guests pull us aside to tell us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding), but Lindsay and the rest of the ATE team were with us every step of the way to help us plan out perfect wedding. The entire team was so responsive and accommodating with all our unusual requests and the entire event went off without a hitch. I couldn’t recommend ATE enough!

We enjoyed the service provided for our wedding day from A Taste of Excellence. We worked with Mary Jane and Pam. We had plated meals for our 50-60 guests, and everyone we talked to had nothing but good feedback regarding the quality of the food. Every server we spoke with was kind and professional, and working with the catering team was fairly straightforward. They were able to accomodate when our actual guest count fell below what our expected guest count. The only major issue we ran into was when working with two different staff, there was a miscommunication that resulted in two different contracts for the final guest count. We were able to clarify the miscommunication, but that was the only hiccup we ran into.

Taste of Excellence was truly an EXCELLENT caterer! From the beginning, Emily L was so easy to work with and was such a delightful person. She sounded excited to help us when we talked on the phone and was always ready with answers to all of our questions. We set up our food tasting which was a really fun evening we got to spend with both of our parents. We tried all sorts of food and it was neat to see how everything would be plated and presented day of the wedding. After our first tasting, we felt like we needed to try a couple more dishes to find our perfect menu and Emily was so gracious to get us set up with a second tasting to make sure we had everything exactly the way we wanted. Day of the wedding, our guests RAVED about how great the food was! They also helped us do some little things that were unique! We wanted to do a pizza cutting instead of a cake cutting. They were more than willing to have a small pizza ready for us and so many people loved that unique touch! Lastly, I am obsessed with pasta and Taste of Excellence ordered me one portion of penne pasta as a late night snack! I felt so special and scarfed down the pasta at the end of the night while everyone else got their flatbread pizzas as a late night snack. I cannot recommend Taste of Excellence and their wonderful staff enough!

Very detail oriented. Day of everything was perfect and they worked with me the week of with numerous last minute changes. Only issue was that they were sometimes hard to get in contact with, but as the day approached, they put me as a priority.

They were so professional, had great communication, great attention to detail… the food was delicious, the ice cream sundae bar was a huge hit, and the bartending services were also great… I could go on and on. They are worth every penny for your wedding catering needs; the quality is hard to beat!

We used ATE for our wedding and were exceptionally happy with their services. They worked with us through multiple menu changes, including creating a custom station layout from multiple different menu categories. The day of everything went smoothly, looked phenomenal, and tasted even better. We especially appreciated being able to have so many vegetarian options available for our guests and ourselves.
