how my hair and makeup turned out as was the entire bridal party, we all received a TON of compliments from guests as well. Lisa and Ashlee were a pleasure and very easy to deal with throughout the process. I am not local and had an extremely specific date that I wanted to do the trial and they were extremely accommodating. I also loved that they ensured the stylists who did my trial would be with me day of the wedding. Overall I feel the value was extremely good for the quality of services and would absolutely recommend to any brides!

e traveling fee and the services, but they’re outrageous. I honestly misread that the trail and wedding day fees were separate so that’s on me. If you’re a bride, be prepared to spend atleast $1000 for trail and day of. But in attempt to save myself some money, I chose to pay with the bank check instead of venmo or credit card so I didn’t have to pay the processing fees. I made sure I wrote the address on the envelope correctly. I mailed the check out at the correct time thinking that an envelope should only take 3 to 4 days to be received. Weeks went by and they still hadn’t received my check of $1300 for wedding day services. I hated to be annoying but I asked every week and they said, “sometimes our mail is weird and takes a long time. You’re not the only one this has happened to”. The Tuesday before my wedding day, I asked again if they had received my check and they said no. If I hadn’t texted them back and said, “what do we do now?” I feel they would have never come and done my wedding services. Which in that text message back after I asked that, she said if we don’t have the money in full, we can’t provide our services. So I then had to come up with another $1300 to pay them so I could get my hair and make up done for my wedding. Jokingly enough, the day before my wedding, the check I sent out to them came back to my mailbox with a note that said “incorrect” address. I hate to not leave a great review, but they don’t accept personal checks or cash! This would have made everyone’s lives easier if they just took cash the day of. It also stressed ME out to have that much money floating around who knows where, wondering if I’m still getting my wedding day services, and coming up with MORE money on top of all the other wedding day stress. And the address I wrote on the envelope matched exactly what they had in their contract. Overall, they have some awesome stylists, but the whole check thing has to reflect my review.

was married and wasn't able to do a trial, but Lisa and Ashlee were always available via call or text and I'm so glad they were free for my wedding. I also loved that they gave the same level of personal attention to everyone in the wedding party. Not only are they excellent stylists, they were fun and down to earth and contributed to a fun day.

he morning of my wedding they arrived exactly when they said they would and got right to work. Both Carrie and Anna stayed precisely on schedule for myself, 5 bridesmaids and two moms. Everyone was happy with their hair style and makeup and nobody needed anything re-done, only minor touch ups. When I first searched vendors I was hesitant this service was too costly, I know now they are worth every penny. Professional, kind, and so efficient on what can be a very stressful day. Invaluable. Book them, don’t think twice!

or the big day. I also want to give a big shoutout to Ashlee. We traveled to upstate NY from CT for my hair and makeup trial and for our engagement photos. At the time my dog suddenly became sick so while I was at the trial, my now husband was at the vet with our dog. He wasn't able to pick me up from the trial when we finished so Ashlee very kindly drove me to the vet's office, which I really appreciated. Thank you so much Ashlee!

My only reason for not giving a full five stars is that I occasionally talked with different people regarding the schedule/plan for the day and it seemed like things weren’t passed along to the whole team effectively. But even so, I would absolutely recommend the traveling stylists. I felt so beautiful and they were all so nice!

The makeup she did was beautiful and natural without being too much. It was great to have her back on my wedding day as a grounding and supportive presence, in addition to providing hair and makeup services. My whole wedding party used this service, and they were all thrilled with how it came out!

I looked like a 1920s flapper goddess and I was LIVING FOR IT!!!! I got so many compliments on my look at the wedding. Also, don't let me forget, she is a talented makeup artist and made myself and my bridesmaids look amazing. I couldn't be happier for having chosen them to work with. They came to my rented house, made the space work beautifully, and were very timely. Everyone got their hair and/or makeup done according to schedule. If you have the chance to work with The Traveling Stylists, I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

the makeup for myself, MOH, and mom. She did an amazing job! I don’t normally wear much makeup. She was able to do it in a way that looked very natural and stunning being mindful not to completely coverup my freckles.

l look like a princess, I’ve never felt so pretty in my entire life! She was always in communication with me, punctual and even recurled parts of my hair before she left and we only hired her for makeup. She took feedback on my makeup, stopping to check in with me about what I liked, if I wanted any changes, etc and I was so so happy with the final result. was originally promised that people getting their hair curled would be cheaper and was promised a cheaper travel fee. The travel fee was crazy for just one person traveling but I would gladly pay for that if it’s good work. Once I was emailed the invoice I was not given cheaper hair then told they only charge the one price for moms and bridesmaids. I sent pictures and descriptions of what they wanted and what their hair is like to make the experience faster and easier and the stylist didn’t know what anyone wanted when they came. When I tried to fix the price situation they gave everyone a small discount instead of just the people for getting their hair curled which is nice, but that was only $5 when a head of curled hair doesn’t take long and shouldn’t be $70. However the experience prior we were happy with the day of! I do recommend just make sure you get the pricing figured out and try to get everyone to do a trial to ignore this mishap.

ial and my wedding day, Lisa was kind, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. She expertly replicated a hairstyle one of the bridesmaids presented a photo of, and created a beautiful style on the fly for one of the other girls who didn’t know what she wanted. She also created a beautiful and natural makeup look for my mother, who is nervous around makeup due to injuries from a car accident. She was compassionate and created a look that made my mother feel comfortable and more confident. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup look, both were exactly what I wanted. The makeup enhanced my look without making me look unrecognizable. The hair stayed lovely despite high winds. That is quite a feat considering my frizzy and temperamental hair. I am so happy with the results, and if you hire the Traveling Stylists for your wedding hair and makeup, I am absolutely sure you will be too.

We quickly scheduled a trial and simply felt much more comfortable with her. Our hair and makeup both came out exactly the way we wanted during our trial and was absolutely perfect on our wedding day. Steph and her team were punctual and able to amazingly accommodate 11 females between our two bridal parties. Everyone looked amazing and was so happy with their work. They were all so friendly and so much fun to work with!!!
