A photographer's dream! This wedding venue was an absolute delight to work with. From its picturesque setting to the seamless coordination, capturing moments here was a breeze. The attention to detail made every shot picture-perfect, and the staff's support ensured a fun and smooth experience. Highly recommend to couples seeking a stunning backdrop and an stress-free shoot!
Patti is one of the most wonderful and accommodating people I have ever met. Getting married there was a wonderful choice and I am so thankful! I would recommend a touch of country to any bride!
We choose this venue based on its location and what we received for our money. We wanted a venue that would set up and take down and that would provide a beautiful outdoor ceremony. This is an old family farm; we got married in the backyard and had the reception in a barn. The dressing rooms for bridal party and groom/groomsmen were perfect, and Patti was great to work with. Everything went off without a hitch. It was a perfect day, and everyone has commented since on how great the venue was and how beautiful it and the views were.
I have just a few complaints. First, you have to use the owner's daughter's company if you serve alcohol. This added such an exorbitant cost that we almost had a dry wedding. We ended up having to tell her that in order to be allowed to not buy alcohol through her daughter, but provide our own (several hundred dollars savings). We also had to make a big deal to avoid putting out a tip jar (so tacky!). My second complaint is that you cannot have any hard alcohol per their liquor license. While I was happy to not have anyone drunk at my wedding, it would have been nice to allow my groom to toast with an alcohol he actually liked, as he doesn't care for beer or wine. Finally, the inability to have hard alcohol stressed my mother out, as we'd lose our deposit if anyone was caught with it. It led to awkward conversations with our guests, having to ensure that no one brought alcohol.
Overall, however, I had a pleasant experience with this venue. We saved $1000 by having an 8 hour ceremony on a Friday, which I highly recommend. It was plenty of time. I recommend using this venue if you're in the area; you'll love it!
This was an excellent country venue. We loved it, and could not have been happier with the setting.
