A Touch of Fierce by Lay-Lay Duchatelier

We had the pleasure of working as photographers with Lay-Lay and we cannot say enough great things! She created a gorgeous princess look bride and her airbrush based makeup was flawless. The look lasted all through the night and was perfect to photograph! We never got to meet Lay-Lay in person, but our communication with her after the wedding was nothing but wonderful. She is such a supportive vendor in the wedding community! We look forward to the opportunity of working with the A Touch of Fierce again and highly recommend!

Not only does A Touch Of Fierce know how to make a woman feel like a million bucks, but Lay and her team of professional stylists are top notch across the board. From the initial contact until my wedding day, l I had nothing but an amazing experience with Lay. During the trial she listened to my ideas and guided me with the look that I was going for. Lay is so easy to talk to and has a fun and inviting personality. Through conversation I was very impressed with not only her knowledge of make-up and hair styling, but also about trends and tips that I loved chatting about. After spending time with her during my the trial and knowing with confidence that she nailed my look I was not stressed at all on my wedding day. Actually, she made me feel at ease during it all. Lay was very prompt and professional on the day of the wedding. She was a great team player with the other vendors and all my friends and family loved her just as much as I do. I would recommend Lay and her team to anyone and everyone! My bridesmaids could NOT stop singing their praises and we all felt so incredibly gorgeous! Hiring A touch of Fierce for my wedding day was seriously top best decisions we made :)

LayLay and her team are AMAZING! I hired them for my 3-day wedding, and they were phenomenal each day. LayLay listened to all my concerns and made sure to give me looks that made me feel confident and beautiful. More importantly, I looked like myself! From start to finish, her team was extremely professional and respectful. She even helped my bridesmaids when their MUA (not from A Touch of Fierce) messed up. LayLay went above and beyond to get me through the stress of my wedding, and I cannot recommend her and Stacy (for hair) enough.

Can’t thank you enough! 10 out of 5 !! I was just blown away by my wedding make up. Laylay is professional but not only that she is very sweet & attentive which is very comforting! She gets just as happy to doll you up on your wedding as much as you for having her by your side! Thank you for my beautiful make up. Thank you Genesis as well for being there for my big day. Lay Lay was EXTREMELY professional from the start. I had a bad situation with another company, that lied about how they provide services. Lay Lay quickly picked up from where the other company dropped the ball. Ashley did my trial hair and makeup within a week or two of first contact, and in approx 2 months, was available at all times via phone/text to bounce ideas back and forth on my/my girls' makeup vision. Come wedding day, everyone showed up and cranked out THE MOST BEAUTIFUL makeup on all of us, I have ever seen. I will definitely be utilizing their team for any other event hair and makeup needs. They are SUPERB, service was superb, and they travel to YOU and do holidays and early mornings/late nights! Lay Lay, I truly feel you saved the day! Thank you for being such a blessing!

I could not be happier with Lay Lay and her amazing team of girls! I felt like a princess they make you feel like a true goddess! I had several trials before coming to TOF and they exceeded my expectations their quality of work and profesionalism is on point! My wedding day was perfect and my bridesmaids looked stunning! LayLay and her team are phenomenal they are flexible and make the whole experience completely stress free. Lay Kay communicates what she needs and payment explanations clearly and efficiently so there’s no confusion. And her team truly brought my vision to life. They are incredible!!

I hired LayLay and her team for my bridal party and I am so glad I did. I had a disastrous trial with another company and I was very nervous but LayLay's trial with me went amazingly well and LayLay herself did the makeup for my girls. Everyone in the bridal party looked amazing and I felt so beautiful walking down the aisle. While it was pricey, hair and makeup is not something to skimp on and for the price, no one can do as good of a job as LayLay and her team. We did have a small timing issue and were scrambling at my wedding but that was no fault of LayLay's, I had 2 girls add hair at the last minute so I would suggest booking LayLay for an hour or two prior to the time you are thinking.

Want to look fabulous, book Lay-Lay and her team! I don’t know much about makeup and she asked the right questions to make sure I looked exactly like wanted. Not just beautiful but beautiful and comfortable as me! Same thing with my hair, I felt extra special for my day but not like a whole different person. My girls felt so well taken care of and I would recommend them to anyone I know.

Lay Lay is a phenomenal make up artist and truly cares about you and your party for your special day. before my trial even started we already went over options I wants and what my skin type was ( I have really sensitive and oily skin). Lay Lay then went over options with me and since she is also an aesthetician she was SUPER knowledgeable about all skin types. The trial went amazing!!! She was very meticulous with her application and explaining everything she was doing very thoroughly. She was very clean ( made my OCD heart VERY HAPPY). Plus she made me feel like a million bucks on my wedding day. All of my bridesmaids who have been in at least 3 weddings so far said this was the best make up they got and all loved Lay Lay! You seriously wont regret booking with her!

Lay-Lay and her staff were absolutely wonderful. I did my trial with her and Cynthia and was so pleased with the results I absolutely booked my wedding day MUA. Day of they were prompt and made us look amazing. I 100% recommend Lay-Lay and her team.

Lay-Lay and her staff do a phenomenal job. They are on time, professional, clean and tidy. I used them for my trial for my bridal shower and I was blown away. I got so many compliments at my event and everyone was asking me who I used. Of course, I told all my friends and their friends. My Wedding was on December 17, 2016, as a bride the most important day of my life. From the moment I contact LayLay she was Incredibly friendly and easy to work. She respond ALL of my questions (they were a lot) since I had such a huge bridal party, did I mentioned how complicated my bridesmaids were? Well let me tell you they definitely were very picky Its why I ask so many questions to LayLay. I receive respond immediately or within minutes. The BIG DAY came and Lay Lay and her AWESOME Team ROCK!!!! They did ALL of my girls and they look Gorgeous. Laylay and her team were beyond PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, so helpful and all of there products are Top brands. My makeup was a gift from another lady, and I wish they had choosen Laylay to do my makeup, because LayLay was so nice that make me feel so much comfortable than the lady who did my makeup.
