Joan is so talented and knowledgeable!! She addressed the envelopes and escort cards for my daughters wedding. They were beautiful and added such an elegant touch to the day. She has all kinds of samples to show you and can guide you with all your etiquette questions. She is quick to respond and very accommodating to any last minute changes. Most important is her calligraphy is gorgeous!!

We ordered escort cards and place cards and they were really beautiful. Joan was a pleasure to work with, extremely responsive, happy to provide samples, and doing our last minute additions the week of the wedding. Everything was done by mail and arrived promptly. Highly recommended.

I can not recommend Joan enough!! My original plan for my wedding invitations was to have the recipient addresses printed on the envelopes. Three days prior to stuffing the envelopes, it was discovered the envelopes would not fit in the printer due to the thick liner. Panicked about our deadline, we began to reach out to printers and calligraphers to see who would be able to get the job done quickly. Joan stepped in and was able to address all 125 of our invitations in just over 24 hours for such a reasonable price!!! The invitations are gorgeous and more beautiful then I could have ever imagined. I can’t not thank her enough for her swift, meticulous work and will be recommending her to all of my friends.

Our envelopes came out absolutely perfect! We ended up getting our invitations from a small independent artist who used some unique fonts, but A Touch of Ink was able to find the font and match it perfectly, which made for an incredibly cohesive package! Joan is also incredibly responsive AND efficient. We had our envelopes in no time, and we were even able to add a few after the fact (we forgot the groom's parents -- WHOOPS). If you need a professional, efficient and flexible calligrapher -- look no further!!!

Joan was the best vendor out of all that I used for my New York wedding. Working with her was like a breath of fresh air in otherwise warped and inefficient wedding industry. She went out of her way to make sure the process was smooth, was the only vendor who didn’t nickel and dime me (for example i needed an extra envelope sent to me after all my envelopes were mailed, and she simply didn’t charge me as it would have been more work to send a fee for 1 envelope -- while every other vendor in the wedding industry would have found a way to charge me 2x for that.. think invitation printing). Her work was amazing - Joan sent me 10 samples of envelope lettering for me to pick the font i liked the most - again went out of her way to make sure i was happy. I will make sure to recommend her to all my friends.

I used A Touch of Ink for invitation Calligraphy. Joan was easy to work with, very responsive via email and best of all, we did it all over email/mail! Joan is based in NJ, me in NYC. She made it really easy for me to pick my style by sending a package full of samples for me to choose from. I sent her my envelopes and less than 2 weeks later they were returned to me perfect and gorgeous. She even did 3 other one offs last minute! Great service all around. Price seems on par with other calligraphers.

She is extremely detail oriented and doesn't rush through anything (although she did deliver in a pinch!). We used A Touch of Ink for printed envelopes for our wedding invitations. She went so above and beyond for us, even purchasing the font to match our invitations to ensure a complete uniform look. Her prices were competitive and her service incredible. I also got to witness her hand-written calligraphy; it's impeccable! I had a hard time finding someone or a company that does hand written calligraphy around me. I can across "A Touch of Ink Calligraphy" and from the very first contact everything went perfectly. Joan was more than a pleasure to work with, unfortunately we never got to meet but I will be using her again so there is still hope! Joan was extremely responsive with emails any time of the day. Within 2 weeks I dropped off my envelopes and received back the finished product! We had Joan calligraphy our envelopes for our wedding invitations and they came out beautifully. They were dark blue envelopes and we wanted silver ink. The envelopes we used were particularly hard to ink but she did a wonderful job. All of my guests raved about how gorgeous the calligraphy was and was amazed that someone could do that all by hand. Choosing to have the envelopes addressed this way as opposed to having them printed or using labels really put the perfect finishing touch on our invitations and in my opinion is much more classy and elegant. I highly recommend this vendor.

Joan did an absolutely gorgeous job lettering my escort cards in Citadel script for my recent wedding. I was very picky about my wedding stationery and selecting a calligrapher, and looked at over a dozen vendors before deciding that I liked Joan's work the best. I got so many compliments on how beautiful the place cards were. Joan can transform an ordinary piece of stationery into a beautiful work of art!

I can't say enough about the quality of the calligraphy. We wanted to impress people with the invitation to convey the level of wedding we would be having, and the calligraphy by Joan just blew everyone away. We had searched on etsy.com for a calligrapher, but either the demonstrated ability was too novice or price was too high for very experienced work. We found Touch of Ink by chance looking through NYC invitations and found her calligraphy used in a sample invitation suite. EXCELLENT work at a great price! I was specifically looking for someone who would keep each line of calligraphy straight, not leave pencil marks, and stay consistent from card to card (which I saw was lacking from people on etsy.com). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Joan is fantastic. I initially contacted her through e-mail inquiring about prices and turn-around time and she e-mailed me back immediately answering my questions (her prices were so reasonable- especially being a bride in NJ- I was seeing prices like $6 per envelope!) and offering to send samples of her work in the color ink (gold) I would like. I received these samples a few days later and they were all beautiful. The process was so easy too. I sent her my envelopes and my guest list and I received them back within 2 weeks. Getting the envelopes calligraphied was definitely the easiest part of my whole wedding planning! I would absolutely use Joan again and again if I ever need calligraphy.

Joan offers both hand and computer calligraphy. She did a fantastic job on our invitations! Her services were prompt, fairly priced, and friendly.
