Leading up to the wedding we were provided a timeline, so we know what to expect the day of. The day arrives and we had Ralph has our videographer and Maria as our lead photographer, and a 2nd shooter. Photographer: Rodel was the first photographer we met for our engagement photos. He came to our house in Los Angeles first and we spent the whole day going to three different local spots to shoot. We were amazed by the final results, great shots, clear quality, creativity in the poses, great lighting choices, and excellent timing of each moment. Wedding Day: ATOS arrived at our venue more than early with a team of 2 photographers and 2 videographers, including Rodel who shot our amazing engagement photos. They were able to set up and were already in communication with our wedding coordinator. Ceremony: Our ceremony was 30 minutes long and held outside on a rooftop. ATOS did such a great job capturing the walk down, the officiant speech, and the vows and the kiss. These are the moments you look forward to remembering and re-watching. It’s only been 3 weeks since the wedding and they already sent us video highlights and full film! I can’t believe how fast they are. Still waiting for photography but judging by the video and also our previous engagement photos, I already know they will come out amazing. Reception: Our reception was held inside Seven Degrees media center. It is a little dark inside with cool lights and different colors strobing, so we made sure to let ATOS know. They did a great job adding more lighting stands, and using flash photography. We did a fun grand entrance dance to kick off the reception, and they did a great job capturing the dance, the crowd reactions, and the whole vibe of the entrance. All of our Best Man, Maid of Honor, Parents speeches were recorded in full! Post-production Instagram, Highlights, Full Film: Again I am amazed by the fast turnaround of these videos, fully edited with music and just a small touch of special effects. The editing is really good, and well-timed which seems difficult to do. Ralph sent us a link via email and also posted some stuff on Instagram for us to share with our friends. I am probably going to watch the videos over and over, we have already re-watched it many times. Final thoughts: I do dancing, emceeing, DJing, music production, and go to many concerts and watch lots of movies, so I’m kind of an annoying critic when it comes to production value - but I have to say ATOS really knocked it out of the park! My wife and I are completely satisfied and super thankful to work with such great talent and appreciate such great professionalism. I can’t recommend A Touch of Soul and Ralph and Rodel and the rest of the team enough. Thank you!

We absolutely loved knowledgeable Rodel was about the area to ensure we captured the most beautiful shots. The day of the wedding, we had literally the best crew. They thought of every little detail and made the day so much fun! My bridal party were raving at how engaging and fun the whole team was. After getting the photos and videos, I teared up at how well they captured everything. I was also on the fence about getting the videography package, but am SO FREAKING GLAD I DID. Rodel was the one who we coordinated with for our engagement photos. Even though we're friends, he was very professional, thoughtful, and considerate. I couldn't have asked for more! We were also in consistent contact with Joanne and Sheryl for our photobooth and any admin needs. They helped us the exact templates that we wanted for the photobooth and we patient with our requests. Once they arrived at our ceremony venue I could see them setting up and during introductions they were very welcoming, professional, and reassuring! I knew we would be taken care of! We had several photoshoots in mind and I can see their creativity flowing. After our ceremony came the family and friends pictures and they were on point! Shout out to Chris for moving everyone along quickly but gently! I was very appreciative of that! Moving on to the Reception was seamless. We all arrived around the same time and their photobooth was already under way. They also made some executive decisions to move the photobooth location based on the feel of the floorplan. I agreed and it all worked out. They were even accommodating for some flexibility during the reception which I could not have been more thankful!! We hopped on a call with Chris as well, who was so knowledgeable and was insightful about how we should plan our day-of timeline. We were excited to have Ralph and Chris as our videographers the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding, we had some transportation issues that pushed back our photo and video timelines. Ralph and Chris really took control and even helped our photographer from a different company. They found the best locations to shoot, suggested things to the photographer without being pushy, and really helped us to fit in all the shots so that we could get back to the party! We are really grateful for the role that they had in making sure that our wedding day ran smoothly despite the delays that happened. We can’t wait to see our videos!

He was also a good resource for picking locations. Sheryl was the primary contact person for my wedding day. She was super sweet and did a great job communicating with the team about what I wanted for the wedding. She replied to my emails very quickly and ensured my needs or questions were addressed.

We can’t recommend ATOS enough and have already done so with family and friends, but, as a couple who did tons of research themselves before finding ATOS, here are some things to consider and help you decide if ATOS is right for your event. Convenience: All-in-one team: Photography, cinematography, and photobooth. This means less time searching for and coordinating multiple vendors and also results in cohesiveness in products. Plus, packaging it all together means cost savings too! ATOS packages are very competitive and reasonable. Comparable vendors quoted us 2-3x as much and also didn’t offer as much! Also, pre-and throughout COVID we were able to meet and plan through phone calls or email and contracts and payments were completed electronically. As a busy couple juggling work, school, and wedding planning, this was a huge convenience. Expertise: Planning a wedding, especially one during COVID, is stressful enough, but the ATOS team made the process easy and fun. They have a lot of knowledge, experience, and patience, and you can really see everyone on the team enjoys what they do. I don’t know how they do it, because we know they’re really busy, but whether its through phone calls/mtgs, emails, or photoshoots they make you feel like all their time is just for you! Shout outs to Ralph, Chris, Rodel, Sheryl, and Joanne! Experience: Chris can capture anything from candid romantics to artistic dramatic shots. Let him and the team know what you want (if you already have a vision in mind), but also trust their direction. As a result, we ended up with a diverse choice of images to choose from. Note to couples, don’t be too scared to “get out of your comfort zone.” Posing for photos is not something most of us are used to, so feel free to trust the experts and you’ll end up with some beautiful shots you never thought you’d have. We had a blast shooting with Chris every time, it was like catching up with a friend who just happens to be holding a camera directed at you. At some point, you even start to forget that he has the camera! Also, don’t be surprised if Chris ends up shooting lying down on the floor, through a bush, or knee deep in water. He’s very dedicated to his craft :p Traditions: Our parents were hesitant that a non-Vietnamese vendor could capture the nuances of our culture and tea ceremony. However, our parents were super impressed with how well the event was captured and how well Chris blended in. We got so much feedback from family about Chris' great energy. Family and friends who couldn’t be present that day because of COVID restrictions really enjoyed the photos we shared. The Cool factor: Highly recommend customizing your wedding and upgrading your photobooth package with the green screen. We had a lot of fun personalizing the photobooth backgrounds and our guests really enjoyed it too. Service: ATOS delivered their products to us in a really timely manner. From our experience we typically got a preview on IG within the week, got our engagement photos in < 2wks, and our ceremony photos in ~ 4wks. With family and friends antsy to see photos ASAP, it’s nice to not have to wait months to see and share the final product.
