sfy our customers. All of our party rental equipment is inspected before and after each rental. As we are prone to error, like all companies and make mistakes, A-1 Tents & Party Rental will always strive to meet our customers’ expectations. We always want to ensure that our rental items are to the highest standards and meet the expectations of all our customers. We want to ensure the rental equipment our customers are receiving are in complete working order and to their satisfaction. Unlike many other rental companies, as a convenience to our customers, we allow our customers to pick up their reserved rental items a few days in advance, at no extra charge. Also, in case something should arise, or is found unacceptable with a rental item, we can correct the error or replace the item in time for their event. Mr Suryil, as you stated, you picked up the tent on a Wednesday for your event on Sunday, and returned the tent on Monday. During that 5-day time period we were not made aware, nor did we receive notice that you had any problems or issues with the equipment you had rented? If we had known we would have gladly replaced or repaired the item? The first we had heard there was an issue, was when the tent was returned back to us, 5-days later, on Monday, after it was used for your event? On Monday, the person who returned the tent mentioned it was broken. Only then were we notified of this incident? When we opened to inspect the tent; we found the tent to be completely inoperable and unfixable. We could not dismiss the fact that the tent was used as it was wet and smelled of food? I am not quite sure what happened to the tent from the time it left our store in working order, until it was returned back to us 5-days later? Our office manager did call you that same day. He advised you to the amount of damage that was done to the tent, which you denied. Mr. Suryil, I can only question as to why you did not call us during that 5-day rental period that there was a problem with the tent? …And as to why you did not request a refund for the rental, if indeed the tent was broken when you received it? Again, we are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with our policy regarding damage to our equipment. We feel we acted reasonably under the circumstance and while we wish the outcome had been different, we stand by our decision.
